A/N- the time line of this oneshot doesn't make sense at all.
But for the sake of the story, please pretend that it is.
-Y/N's POV-
"Nico!" you squealed, "Come back here!"
You were seven years old, and chasing Nico around the hotel room that you were staying in.
8-year-old Nico just took your Artemis Mythomagic card, and you were trying to get it back.
"Nuh-uh!" Nico laughed, "Catch me if you can!"
Nico turned around and stopped, looking around, "Y/N?" he called, "Where did you go?"
You crawled behind the sofa quietly, hiding from your friend.
"Y/N?" Nico called, his smile dropping, "I'm sorry... Will you please-?"
"Haha!" you yelled, tackling Nico and pushing him onto the sofa, "Got'cha!"
Nico laughed, "Hey! That's cheating, no fair!"
"Give me then card then!"
"NEVAAAAA!!"
You and Nico rolled around, dodging each other and playing happily.
Bianca came walking in, "Guys... it's dinner time."
"Dinner?" your head popped up from under the pillow, "What is it?"
"I found some McDonalds in the buffet..."
"YES!" Nico yelled, his hands in the air, "I want a Happy Meal!"
"Me too!"
Bianca laughed and led you and Nico outside.
~time skip brought by Mr. D's diet coke~
-Nico's POV-
"I don't want to, Bianca," I whispered, hiding behind my sister, "I don't want to leave Y/N."
A mysterious guy had shown up, claiming that he was to pick up me and my sister.
I begged him to let Y/N come, but he didn't budge.
"Can I at least say goodbye to her?" I asked, tears forming in my eyes, "I don't want to leave my bestfriend..."
"No," the man said, "We have to go now, by the order of your Father."
And with that, I was forced to leave.
"I'm so sorry Y/N..." I whispered, looking at the casino from the backseat window, "I'll see you one day, I promise."

-Y/N's POV-
"So- I'm a demigod, half mortal, half god?" you asked your satyr, Joey.
"Yes," he said.
"And... I'm supposed to go to a camp for these kinds of people who are like me?"
"That's right," he said.
"And it's perfectly normal for me to be an orphan, dyslexic, and have ADHD?"
"Absolutely," he smiled, "Great! Now that we have that all covered, here we are!"
You stood on a hill with a large, tall tree.
"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, Y/N!" Joey smiled, "Hope you like it here!"
You were introduced to Chiron and Mr. D by Joey, and were given a tour by Nyssa, a Hephaestus kid.
"You're taking this demigod thing really well," Nyssa noted, "How come?"
"Well, I used to play this game about Greek Mythology," you shrugged, "I always had this weird feeling that I'm sort of connected with it."
"Huh," Nyssa said, "Mythomagic, isn't it?"
"Yea, you play?"
"Nah," she waved her hand, "I was never good at card games."
She walked over to a cabin, "Here's my cabin, my dad's Hephaestus."
You looked around, many kids there had big, strong arms, sweaty faces, and clothes covered in grime.
"Sweet," you said, "Hephaestus is a cool guy. Pretty sad story though, got yeeted down the mountain."
Nyssa gave a slight, non-committal grunt, smiling slightly and trying not to laugh.
Next was a dark cabin with a bunch of skulls as decoration.
"This is the Hades cabin," Nyssa said.
"Hades has kids?" you asked, "I thought-"
"Yea, he... sort of broke the promise. Well, not really. It's a bit complicated," she scratched her head, "But has a kid, one's... dead. Another's roman."
"Oh," you said, "I'm so sorry to hear that."
Nyssa was silent.
"Come on... let's just continue the tour, I wanted to show you around the arena."

-Nico's POV-
I watched as Percy trained a new camper, who was undoubtedly pretty.
"Alright, Y/N..." Percy panted, "You are so good."
"Thanks," she smiled.
Wait... her name is Y/N?
"I think it's time for dinner," Percy said, "Race you there?"
"You're on."
Y/N was about to run after Percy when I stopped her.
"Wait!" I said, putting a hand in front of her, "Mind if I talk to you for a sec?"
Percy looked at Y/N and nodded.
"Yea, sure," she said.
Percy left us alone, leaving me and Y/N to stand there.
"Want to see my cabin?" I said, smiling.
"Of course!" she smiled back, "Erm... what's your name?"
"I..." I gulped, blushing slightly, "Nico- Nico di Angelo."
"Oh, cool name," she said, "I'm Y/N L/N."
She shook my hand.
I felt a little sad, she seemed to forget who I am.
"Wait-" she froze, "NICO?"
"Yea?" my hopes started building up again.
"Nico- Mythomagic- the McDonalds loving guy?" she asked.
I laughed, "You remembered!"
"Oh my gods!" she flung her arms around my neck, "I missed you!"
"Same here..." I smiled widely, lifting Y/N off her feet slightly, "I've missed you so, so much."
I stroked her hair with one hand, one arm around her waist. I hugged her closer to me, not ever wanting to let go.
We broke apart, though her hands were still on my shoulder and my arms around her waist.
My smiled slowly faded, "Y/N... that day in the Lotus Casino, I'm so sorry- my dad had sent someone to pick us up. I didn't want to leave you, but-"
Y/N hugged me again, burying her face in the crook of my neck and making me blush like crazy.
"Nico... it's okay, really." she kissed my cheek, "I know you didn't mean it."
"But- but I left you!" I sobbed slightly, "You were all alone!"
"Not exactly," she admitted, "I met Tyson, the Leo, and Joey... I left right after you did."
"I'll make it up to you," I said, cupping my newly-found best friend's face, "Promise."
"Sure," she said, "You said we're going to hang out at your cabin?"
"I've got McDonalds for dinner, if you want."
"Deal."
I'm probably going to make the next oneshot connected to this one.
Like a sort of epilogue.
