Ranboo chcukled, "Yeah it'd be great, but uhm- what's it pay?"
I scoffed, "Ranboo!"
"What?! I'm just saying! Coffee Bee payed really well!" Ranboo said.
I rolled my eyes and she replied, "Well, since you two have experience in Cafes and I've grown quite the liking to you two....I'd hire you as Supervisors. So perhaps...20 dollars an hour? Or 25?"
Ranboo thought about it, "Well...thats great and all, but-"
"Tubbo paid us 80 and hour." I interrupted.
Her eyes went wide, "80 an hour!? This Tubbo guy sounds amazing!"
Ranboo chuckled, "Tubbo is a giver...."
"Jeezus christ! 80 an hour as a barista!? He must be something!" She exclaimed surprised.
"Well that's what I'm saying. Coffe Bee paid really well, and we need to make good money if we're gonna be able to pay bills and for food and everything." Ranboo explained.
"No, I understand....,but think about it?" She asked.
Ranboo shrugged, "I dunno..."
I frowned, "Sorry."
"No worries....,but perhaps I could offer 35." She sighed.
Ranboo nodded, "That's alright."
I frowned and we walked away to sit at a table.
"Babe, I'm sorry! I didn't think money was a big issue...." I explained.
He held my hand, "Baby, it's not. And don't worry about it, okay?"
I sighed, "Where are you getting all the money from?"
His face literally read guilt. He responded, "Lexi and Nelly keep sending me money. And I keep telling them not too, but...they insist we focus on studies rather than work."
I frowned, "I can't imagine the guilt you must feel...."
"Yeah.......it's killing me." He frowned and began sadly eating his donut.
"So...what're we gonna do?" I asked.
Ranboo shrugged, "I dunno...."
"What're you trying to get a job as?" I asked him.
He sighed, "I'm trying to get an office job, but that's hard to have when your in school."
I nodded, "Ranboo?"
"Yes?"
"I hate the thought of 'leaching' off Lexi and Nelly, but...they love us. Don't you think its better we find decent paying jobs and then pay them back in the future?" I suggested.
Ranboo shrugged, "They keep telling me that. I just....I want to be able to provide for you, Tommy. For you to rely on me..."
"You can provide more than money babe. And I rely on you all the time." I smiled.
He sighed, "I'm gonna pay every single penny back to them...and I'm gonna get a well paying job too."
I smiled, "I love you."
He smiled back, "I love you too Tommy."
"Uhm....excuse me?" Bella asked now standing by our table.
"Uhm, yes?" Ranboo asked.
She cleared her throat, "Uhm....I can offer you guys both 50."
Ranboo raised an eyebrow, "You sure?"
She nodded, "Yeah."
"Isn't that a little ridiculous for a donut shop?" Ranboo asked.
She sighed, "What's this Tubbo like?"
I raised an eyebrow, "Why?"
She blushed, "I- I dunno....I'd like to know more about him..."
I smirked, "He has brown hair and light brown eyes. He's about two inches taller then you and he's really good looking, actually."
She nodded, "Cool....so does he live around here?"
Ranboo sighed, "He lives in the UK."
She frowned, "Oh."
"Y'know! You could meet him!" I exclaimed.
Ranboo sighed, "Tommy."
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, yeah."
"A- Anyways, what do you guys think about the offer?" She asked.
Ranboo thought about it....., "Why'd you raise the offer all of a sudden?"
She sighed, "I want you guys to run different locations."
"Excuse me?" I asked.
She chuckeld, "We just started branching out new locations. And we have two other ones. I thought you two would be good fits. And after around a month or two, your pay will raise to 70, I promise. That is if it all goes well. And if it does more than well, you may be looking at your 80 dollars an hour plus tips."
Ranboo's eyes went wide, "Alright...we'll take it."
I smiled, "Finally! Something worked out!"
Ranboo laughed, "Mhmm."
Time Skip ~ 12:47pm
I called Ranboo, for I'd just got out of class and he should've too.
"Hey baby." He answered.
"Hi, so you on hour way home?" I asked.
"Nope." He said.
I was confused, "Wh- What do up mean, 'Nope'?"
"I mean like no, I'm not on my way home." He explained, "Er- Well technically I am..."
" What's that mean?" I asked seeming confused.
He chuckled, "I'm on my way to pick you up, darling."
I blushed, "Really?!"
"Mhmm." He hummed, "So stay put."
"Mkay, I'll see you soon then." I smiled even though he couldn't see it.
He hung up and I went over and sat on a stone bench. I pulled out my phone and began scrolling through my social media, since I was bored.
Then two familiars sat on the bench beside me. I looked up from my phone to see Tony and Karla.
"Oh, hello." I smiled.
"Hey! Nice to see you, but I've gotta go. My class starts in a bit." Karla said and then waved bye.
She ran off and then it was just me and Tony on the bench.
"So what time is your next class?" He asked.
"3pm, so I have quite a bit of time." I smiled.
He smiled, "Mine also happens to be at 3pm, what a coincidence."
I nodded, "Mhmm."
He stretched and then placed his arm over my shoulder. It bothered me a little, but I didn't say anything.
"So you wanna go to lunch with me?" He asked.
"Uhm actually, I was gonna head home." I replied.
"How far away is your place?" He asked.
"Like ten minutes or so." I replied.
He rubbed my arm, "I could come with if you'd like."
Perhaps he's very friendly.
"I'm not so sure." I frowned.
"Well alright. Perhaps next time. So, what're you waiting for then? I mean, why don't you hurry to the bus stop?" He asked.
I smiled, "I'm waiting to be picked up."
"Oh alright." He smiled.
"So what're you gonna do while you wait for class?" I asked.
He shrugged, "I dunno. I was hoping you and I could hang, but I guess not."
I chuckled, "Sorry about that."
"No worries, I'll probably get some studying in for once." He laughed.
I laughed too, "You should study more often. You need more than a pretty face."
He blushed, "What?"
"That's what my boyfriend tells me." I laughed.
He blushed brighter, "Oh okay.....so you have a boyfriend, not a girlfriend?"
"Yeah." I smiled.
"Oh okay, so your preference is guys?" He asked.
I nodded, "You could say that, but my real preference is Ranboo."
"Is that your boyfriend?" He asked.
"Mhmm." I hummed.
"Oh cool." He smiled, "So how's your relationship?"
"Well...what do you mean?" I asked.
He blushed brightly, "Uh- nevermind. I'm gonna go. I'll see you around blondie."
He got up, but I grabbed his hand. He turned around with bright cheeks. I smiled, "Its Tommy."
"Thankyou, I've been wondering...and what a cute name." He chuckled then left.
