Tamayo's Residence
Night
Yahaba's body falls slowly hitting the ground hard as blood flies everywhere. Tanjiro comes down hard hitting the ground and bouncing a bit before completely stopping.
He stares at the body,"I did it! The Whirlpool move loses force when it's not underwater! But thanks to my opponent's attack, it gained power, and I was able to envelope the arrows!" Tanjiro mumbles to himself seeing Yahaba's head roll with his left eye gouging out of its socket
"Damn! Curse you! Curse you! Curse you! All I had to do was bring back your both of your heads, and I would've won his approval! I'll never forgive you! I'll never ever forgive you! Shoving my face into this vile dirt! You're going down with me!" Yahaba shouts at Tanjiro and Mizuto as his decapitated body raises its two arms and the eyes on it close
"Damn! It isn't over yet!" Mizuto says wide wide eyes while gritting his teeth
Every arrow that he has surrounds the two boys as they sit there shocked
'No! Not like this!' Mizuto says in his head
'Oh no! He's gonna get us!' The two boys was then thrown into different directions
'We're getting pulled by force stronger than the arrows he's hitting us with! I gotta unleash move after move and go on the defensive, or my body's going to get smashed!' Tanjiro says in his head getting closer and closer to a brick wall
He then sees Mizuto on his knees breathing heavily,"Fourth Form, striking tide!" He strikes the wall completely stopping the demons move as he falls on the ground
Not a second later he forced into the air by the demons arrow,'The pressure is bearing down on my body, and I can't swing my sword! Unleash one! Unleash a move!' Tanjiro grips onto his sword
Mizuto closes his eyes for a second then opens them to realize an arrow is guided on him. Before he could do anything he was thrown around hitting a tree with a painful exhale he was then thrown into a brick wall.
His nose was bleeding severely and his left arm hurt badly from just hitting the brick wall arm first.
He was then thrown into another tree feeling pain shoot throughout his back, his vision is getting blurry but his grip on his sword is loosening.
Tanjiro grits his teeth seeing Mizuto get rag dolled, 'Not here! Don't let yourself get beat!' Tanjiro then uses the second form of water breathing 'Water Wheel' to get to the surface but that didn't work
An arrow dragging him down towards the house, he then uses 'Waterfall Basin' to stop the attack.
Getting sent back up he then uses the first form 'Water Surface Slash' then many other different water breathing moves to go against the demons moves
Mizuto regains his consciousness and grips his sword, being sent into the air he then uses the eighth form of water breathing 'Waterfall Basin' To drag himself to the ground he lands on his stomach
Coughing up blood his eyes slowly starts to drift off
The demon wasn't dumb enough that the boy just died but he still has one to take care of as his head begins to disintegrate more
'Nowhere near enough! At least I have to worry about one now!' The demon says gritting his teeth with a small smile creeping across his face
Sending Tanjiro through the air, he watches as the boy use his moves to go against the demons
'How many more times? How many?' Tanjiro says with one eye open as he keeps unleashing moves
"Not yet! It's still not enough yet!" Was the demons last words before his body completely disintegrated
The arrows disintegrated as well leaving Tanjiro to fall and hit the ground. He breathes heavily he then narrows his eyes towards Mizuto to see him laying on the ground with his face against the dirt as his hair covers his face. Tanjiro realizes the boy is holding his arm not moving as his sword lays next to his body.
Tanjiro freezes not wanting to think negative. He runs over towards Mizuto to shake him but no sign. He then checks his pulse to see if he was alive or most likely dead.
Tanjiro breathes with relief to know the boy is still alive
Mizuto opens his eyes quickly spitting out blood. Vision being covered by his hair, he slowly begins to speak, "T-Tanjiro... is he d-dead?" Mizuto speaks weakly
Mizuto grabs his sword and slowly begins to rise to his feet. His legs shaking, he proceeds to fall to his knees but Tanjiro helped him stand.
"Yes he dead, but we still have to kill the other demon" Tanjiro says to him
Mizuto falls on his ass and leans up against a tree,"I feel like I can't even move... you go and fight and I'll make my way over. You have to protect those three." Mizuto says holding onto his left arm again
Tanjiro puts his arm on Mizuto's shoulder and gives him a serious expression
"Mizuto, promise you'll be alright" Tanjiro says waiting for an answer
"Of course I will, I'm the only one over here anyway" he says hair covering his eyes once again only revealing his mouth and chin
Tanjiro releases his hand off Mizuto's shoulder,"I'm going to head over there now. I'll come back over here once things gets settled" and with that Tanjiro heads over to the battle

Dribbling the three temari's quickly while laughing the area gets covered in in dirt making it look like fog. Yushiro dodges the temari's coming his way
"Ridiculous! It's child's play for me to evade a linear attack like this! Locating you is a breeze, as well!" Yushiro shouts using his ability to go invisible
The temari demon puts on a big smile," The same goes for you! No matter how well you might conceal yourself, I can see you clear as day!" She says lunging a temari straight towards Yushiro
The ball comes inches away from exploding Yushiro's head once again but Nezuko comes over to block it with her foot
The demon laughs again,"What fun this is!" She says
Nezuko rises to her feet,"Hey you! Don't be so rash just because you're immortal!" Yushiro shouts at nezuko
She gets a vision of how her youngest brother would complain she just stares at him
"Wh-What's wrong?" Yushiro says as nezuko rubs his head as he blush a bit
"What do you think you're doing? Here it comes!" Yushiro says moving her hand
The ball comes at them and nezuko kicks it.
More comes and she just kicks them all
Lady Tamayo come over,"Look at her." She says standing next to Yushiro
"Lady Tamayo..." he says looking at her then back to nezuko
Nezuko kicks one and it lands in The demons hand spinning fast and uncontrollably making her groan
The demon looks back at nezuko,"You little brat! You little brat! So, now you can kick my temari back at me? How insolent!" She kicks the temari towards nezuko But nezuko kicks it back and it keeps going back and forth
The demon gets irritated quick,"You damn brat!" She shouts
"Unbelievable. Lady Tamayo, is this..." Yushiro says before he gets cut off
"I used a healing serum on her. Nothing more. Made exclusively for demons." Lady Tamayo says
Nezuko once again kicks the temari towards the demon
"It doesn't make one physically stronger. What we're seeing is Nezuko's own power. Without devouring human blood... Solely on her own... Nezuko is gaining strength at a rapid rate." Lady Tamayo says as nezuko struggles to kick the temari back but she puts all her strength into the kick and sends it flying towards the temari demon
Dodging the temari in time before it took off her head she stands there in shock
'However, her opponent is also formidable. If she were to go all-out, Nezuko wouldn't stand a chance. I've got to... do something.' Lady Tamayo rolls up her sleeve revealing her arm
The temari demon laughs,"You're an amusing little girl! This time, I'm going all-out against you! I wonder how long you can hold out!" The temari demon says smiling devilishly
"Twelve Kizuki demon girl there." Lady Tamayo says walking in front of nezuko
"You're in my way! Step back, you damn fugitive!" The temari demon says with temari's in her hands
"Just tell me one thing please. Are you aware of Kibutsuji's true identity?" Lady Tamayo says making the demon stop for a second
"What the hell did you say?" She says shouting at Lady Tamayo
"That man is nothing but a coward. He lives in constant fear of something." Lady Tamayo says back to The temari demon
"Stop it! Damn you! Stop it!" She says standing still
"Do you know why it is that demons can't band together? The reason why demons cannibalize each other? It's to prevent other demons from banding together and attacking him. He manipulates demons to act this way. Demons like you." Lady Tamayo says
"Shut up! Shut up, Shut up! No way is he that petty!" She says shouting at Lady Tamayo
'Lady Tamayo... is casting a spell.' Yushiro notices
"The power he wields is mind-blowing! There's no one stronger than him! Not Lord Kibutsuji!" She says shouting angrily
She then sees something and drops the temari's and she covers her mouth
"You've uttered that name out loud, haven't you? That will trigger the curse." She says as the temari demon stumbles in fear
'Magical Aroma of Daylight. It weakens its target's brain functions, rendering that person unable to lie or keep secrets. It's immensely potent, Lady Tamayo!' Yushiro says as nezuko slowly starts to drift off
"I do feel sorry for you, but...farewell." Lady Tamayo says as the temari demon runs away in fear
Running with fear shooting through her body she looks at the sky,"Please forgive me! Please forgive me! I'm begging you! Please! Please forgive me!" She says tears dropping from her face as her body turns red
Tanjiro stands there and watches shocked while Mizuto watches from a distance and slowly stands up holding his arm and walking over
Her body explodes red as a hand comes out of her mouth blood splurging everywhere as another two pairs of arms comes out of her stomach

Mizuto arrives inches away from the scene and just stands there same as Tanjiro while Lady Tamayo looks away and Yushiro looks disgusted
Choking and gurgling the hand grabs her face as tears forms in her eyes again squeezes it making her head explode as blood and brain flies everywhere
Mizuto moves some of his hair so he can see out of one of his eyes and he stands there in horror
Lady Tamayo still stares away but can here the disgusting sounds
Yushiro stands there saying what the fuck in his head
Nezuko's still drifting off
The only thing that was left was her eye and her quivering forearm
Lady Tamayo kneels next to the clothing the temari demon was wearing and looks at the two demon hunter boys
"Did she just die?" Tanjiro says shocked
"She will die momentarily." Lady Tamayo says
"W-what a painful way t-to go out..." Mizuto says walking over putting his sword back into the sheath and grabbing his hoari but not putting it on
"That's the curse. Her physical body will be destroyed by Kibutsuji's cells still in her body. In general, battles between demons are futile. It's pointless. Because they can't inflict fatal wounds on each other. Only sunlight and the swords of the Demon Slayers can do so." Lady Tamayo says still looking at the clothing the temari demon was wearing
"Kibutsuji alone appears to be able to destroy demon cells." Lady Tamayo says
Yushiro runs over towards the two boys and covers both of their mouth and noses with a cloth
"Don't go inhaling Lady Tamayo's spell! It's harmful to the human body! You both got that?" They both nod their head at them
"Tanjiro... She is not one of the Twelve Kizuki." She says pointing at the temari demon eyeball laying on the ground
"The Twelve Kizuki have numbers engraved on their eyeballs, but this demon doesn't have one. Most likely, the other demon isn't a member of the Twelve Kizuki, either. They're too weak." She says
Mizuto groans in pain as he holds the cloth of to his nose and Tanjiro takes notice to what she just said
"Too weak? At that level?" Tanjiro mumbles under the cloth trying to talk
"If Lady Tamayo says so, there's no mistake. Still, who knew there were such stupid demons? She physically injured Lady Tamayo. She got exactly what she deserved." Yushiro says putting on a smile
Lady Tamayo injects the needle into the forearm of the demon and gains blood from it
"I hope this blood will be instrumental in developing the healing serum." She says placing the needle into a small box
"I'm going to take care of Mizuto since he looks injured and Nezuko. Not only did I medicate her, she also inhaled my spell inadvertently. I'm so sorry." Lady Tamayo says walking towards nezuko
"Don't move a muscle! You're on your own now! I don't want to leave Lady Tamayo's side! Not for a second!" Yushiro says towards Tanjiro before rushing off
Mizuto walks towards Tanjiro,"I'm going to get treated on. Come, let's head inside." Mizuto says still covering his nose and mouth with the cloth before going inside the house
"Ma... ri..." Tanjiro hears someone speak
"Mari... Mari..." the voice sounds very weak
Tanjiro heads over towards the temari and places it right next to the what is known now is the bloodied kimono and forearm
"Here's your Mari." He says
"Play with me. Play with me." Tanjiro hears the faint cries of the demon
"You're just like a little kid. Even though you must've murdered scores of people." He says looking over the brick wall to see the sun start to rise
Burning the remaining forearm into dust finally ending her she finally dies
"You were deluded into thinking you were in the Twelve Kizuki. Deceived... Compelled to fight... and now, you were killed by the Kibutsuji curse. There's no salvation. Either after you die, not even your bones will remain." Tanjiro says uncovering his mouth and nose with the cloth staring at the temari
"Is this the price you pay for killing others?" He says gritting his teeth getting a vision of Muzan Kibutsuji
"Kibutsuji... This is how that men treats even those who revere him! He's a true...demon!" He says

Tanjiro walks into the house,"Mizuto! Miss Tamayo! Yushiro?" He says walking into a hallway
"Over here! Over here!" Tanjiro hears distance yelling
Walking over he sees steps leading downstairs
"Not that you need to come at all. But if you want to, then get down here." Yushiro says as Tanjiro looks down the stairs to see light
"Yushiro!" Lady Tamayo says
"Only joking!" Yushiro says being growled at by Lady Tamayo
"Hurry down, then, Tanjiro!" She says alarming him to come down
"Oh, right!" He says walking down the stairs
Nezuko runs towards him giving him a hug while Mizuto walks over with a small smile on his face
"Nezuko!" Tanjiro says returning the hug
"I moved her to this basement, where the sunlight won't reach her, ahead of daybreak." Lady Tamayo says as nezuko breaks from the hug to look at Lady Tamayo
"Nezuko?" Tanjiro says as the runs towards Mizuto and gives him a hug then Lady Tamayo
Yushiro stands there jealous and a little sad as he stares
"Why, you! Step away from Lady Tamayo! That's so rude!" He says shouting at nezuko
"Stop it, Yushiro. I don't mind at all." She says returning the hug
"Yes, ma'am!" He says listening right away
'You have such a kind heart, Lady Tamayo. You're too beautiful to believe!' He says in his head blushing at Lady Tamayo
Nezuko turns her head to look at Yushiro and pats his head as he reacts
"Cut.. that... out!" He says lightly at nezuko
"Nezuko has been acting in this way since she awoke. Do you think she's all right?" She says towards Tanjiro
"There's nothing to worry about. She's fine." Tanjiro says walking over
"She probably thinks you're someone in our family." He says
Yushiro moves her hand away,"Cut it out!" He says lightly again
"Family? But I thought the spell Nezuko is under causes her to see humans as her family. And Yushiro and I are demons." She says towards Tanjiro as Yushiro says cut it out to nezuko as she keeps trying to rub his head
"But Nezuko has perceived you two as humans. That's why she tried to protect you. At first, I didn't like the idea of Nezuko being under a spell, but since it looks like she has a will of her own, I'm glad that- -" Tanjiro realizes Lady Tamayo is shedding tears
"I-I'm so sorry! Nezuko! Nezuko! S-Step away from her! It's rude, all right?" He says Mizuto looking over now
Lady Tamayo buries her face into the hug,"Thank you... Nezuko! Thank you!" She says weakly
Yushiro looks away as he feels something in his heart as he gets a flashback
"Do you still wish to live even if you're no longer human?" Lady Tamayo says to a pale looking Yushiro
"If this goes on, you will most likely succumb to your illness. However, losing your humanity will cause you pain and grief. Do you still wish to live?" She says towards him as he looks back
His flashback ends as he stands there
"Yushiro and I will leave this region. We've gotten too close to Kibutsuji. We must conceal our whereabouts soon or the risk will be too great. Not to mention, even if I think I've concealed my identity, when I interact with humans as a doctor, people sometimes see through me as a demon. The young and the elderly are particularly perceptive." She says towards Tanjiro and Mizuto
"Tanjiro..." she says
"Yes?" He replies back
"Would you like us to take Nezuko in?" She says touching her heart
"I can't give you an absolute guarantee that she'll be safe, but I believe it will be less dangerous than taking her into battle." She says towards him
'That might be true. She's right. It would be better for Nezuko to be in their care.' He thinks to himself but Nezuko grabs his hand as she looks at him
"Miss Tamayo, thank you so much for your concern. But... Nezuko and I are staying together. We're not going to live apart from each other." He says to Lady Tamayo
"Never again." He says
Lady Tamayo smiles towards him,"Very well. In that case, I with you three a long-lasting good fortune in battle." She says towards Tanjiro, Mizuto, and Nezuko
Yushiro looks away and crosses his arms,"We'll be leaving after we erase all traces of ourselves. You three get going now!" Yushiro says towards the three
"Right!" Tanjiro says giving him a smile
"Okay, Miss Tamayo, Yushiro, we wish you well!" He gives them a bow as Mizuto does the same
"Let's go, Nezuko." He says rubbing her head as he stares at Mizuto
Nezuko runs off
"Hey! Don't go rushing off like that!" Tanjiro says rushing after her as well as Mizuto
"Tanjiro!" Yushiro calls after him gaining his attention
"Your kid sister... is a beauty." He says making him chuckle
They said their goodbyes and headed off.

The two boys travel as their Kasugai crows come over
"South-southeast! South-southeast! South-southeast! Your next location is south-southeast!" The crows says annoyingly
"We heard you!" Tanjiro and Mizuto says at the same time
"We heard you, so give us a break and quiet down!" Tanjiro says waving at the two crows as nezuko sits in the box on his back
"I'm begging you! I got the message, so please!" Tanjiro says blocking the crow from getting close
"PLEASE!!!" Tanjiro and Mizuto hears
They sees a yellow haired boy with a yellow hoari crying on his knees towards a girl
"Please! Please! Please!, please marry me! I could die any day, you know! That's why I want you to marry me! So please! Please, I'm begging you!" The yellow haired boy says
"Tanjiro, that's the boy that was at final selection" Mizuto adds in
"What on earth?" Tanjiro says seeing the event unfold
