3rd Person P.O.V
An alarm clock flips from 5:59 to 6:00 and starts beeping, until a hand shuts it off. Dean, in a business suit and slicked down hair and made himself a coffee cup, like he was just some random everyday Joe.

Dean crosses the street to a silver Toyota Prius. Inside the car he started the engine and rock music blares out of the radio. Dean looks at it, confused, and changes the station. "NPR Morning Edition. It's time for this waste and..." Dean drives off in the Prius, heading to work at a skyscraper

Dean gets out of the elevator and crosses the lobby. There's a Sandover Bridge & Iron history display along one wall. Dean enters an office labeled 'DEAN SMITH—Director, Sales & Marketing'.

Later Dean is typing at a computer as he laughs into a phone headset. "All I wanna know is when are they gonna have another show like Project Runway? Man."

Later, Dean flips his tie over his shoulder and eats a salad. Even more later, Dean was standing and speaking into the headset. "Net profitability aside, it's the client-retention rate that concerns me vis-à-vis maximizing return on sales. Buzz me back once you've seen the spreadsheets."

Another man enters the office. "Mr. Adler." Dean greeted him. "Dean." Alder said, and slaps Dean on the shoulder. "Good stuff." He exclaimed. "Good stuff?" Dean asked, grinning. "Big things. Good stuff." Alder said. "Good stuff." Dean repeated.

Later once again, Dean was sitting at his desk playing with something and speaking into the headset. "Oh I hear you. No, I haven't been to the gym in ages. Carrying a little bloat around myself. It's a sedentary lifestyle, my man, no two ways. ...All right, tell me one more time. You said lemon and.... what was it? Cayenne and maple syrup, are you serious? How much did you lose?"

Dean puts some files in a case and leaves the office. He checks his phone as the elevator dings. Dean enters, focused on his phone. He looks over at the other occupant of the elevator, who is staring at him. It's Sam, who's wearing a short-sleeved shirt that says 'Sandover Bridge & Iron Inc. Tech Support'.

"Do I know you?" Sam asked him, and Dean looks up, confused. "I don't think so." He replied. Sam looks away then stares at him again for a seconds. "I'm sorry, man, you just look really familiar." He said. "Save it for the health club, pal." Dean said. The elevator dings again and Dean gets out, with Sam staring after him.

A phone rings and Sam presses a button on the phone and talks into a headset. "Tech support, this is Sam Wesson. Okay. Uh, well, did you try turning it off and then on?" He asked, poking at a vampire bobblehead with a pencil.

"Okay, go ahead and turn it off. No no no, just, just off. All right, give it a second. Turn it back on. Okay, is it printing now? Great. Anytime." Sam said, and he takes off the headset, pressing a button on the phone. A man named Ian, who was sitting at a cubicle behind Sam, and the only one in the room who is not wearing the yellow uniform shirt, rolls his chair over to Sam.

"Hey." He said. "Yo." Sam said, turning in his chair to look at him. "What do you think of Mimi?" Ian asked. Sam looks over and shrugs. "She's okay." He replied. "Might have to hit that." Ian said, grinning.

"Oh, dude, that's totally age-inappropriate." Sam said, disgusted. "Experience." Ian said. "Trifocals." Sam said. "There's a MILF there, Sam. I just know it. Maybe a GMILF." Ian said, smirking. "Come on." Sam groaned.

"Coffee break?" Ian asked. "Yeah, for sure." Sam said, getting up with Ian. They pass another man at his cubicle. "Paul. Time for a refuel, buddy." Ian said to him. "Sorry, no time." Paul said, not taking his eyes off his computer. "Since when? Dude, we get paid by the hour." Ian said. "Working." Paul replied.

"Okay." Ian said, then he and Sam walked towards the break room. "He seems stressed." Sam remarked. "Freaked because he got busted surfing porn on the Internet." Ian said. "No, no, no way. When?" Sam asked. "Got sent up to HR yesterday. Guess they put the fear of God in him." Ian said.

In the break room, the microwave dings and someone takes out a bag of popcorn and leaves. Sam heads for the coffeepot while Ian goes to a supply cabinet and starts pocketing packets of pencils. "Ian, dude." Sam exclaimed. "Just doing a little shopping. Running low at home." Ian said.

Sam scoffs and hands him a cup of coffee. "So, Sam, had any of those dreams lately?" Ian asked, and Sam turns away. "What? Don't be like that. Come on. It's the highlight of my day." Ian said.

"I never should have told you in the first place." Sam said. "They're genius. Don't hold out on me, dude. Share with the class." Ian said, and Sam slightly turns to look at him. "You're just gonna be a dick about it." He said

"What? No way. I won't say a word. Total respect. Go." Ian said, smiling in anticipation. Sam stares at him for a moment and sigh. "I dreamt that I saved a Grim Reaper named Tessa from demons." He said, and Ian bursts out laughing. Sam looks away and sighs.

"Classic! How much D&D did you play when you were a kid? Oh, my... okay, so you... rescuing the Grim Reaper. That's... you're a hero. I mean, thank God we got Harry Potter here to save us all from the apocalypse." Ian said. "Dick." Sam said to him. "Wizard." Ian said back.

Sam shakes his head, drinking what's left of his coffee and tossing the cup away. He starts to exit the break room and stumbles right into someone. "Oh I'm sorry." A familiar voice said, as Sam stumbles back.

In front of him stood (Name), her hair was tied up into a messy ponytail and she was wearing a brown mail clerk shirt, with the company's logo on each side of the short-sleeves, blue jeans, and red sneakers. She was also holding packets of pencils in her hands.

Sam stares at her stunned, feeling his heart thumbing in chest so suddenly at the sight of her. As if his heart been longing to see her for days. (Name) stared back at Sam, feeling her own heart racing at the sight of him. She felt an unexplained urge to hug him like an old friend or perhaps more than a friend.

"Hey, don't think I've ever seen you here before. Trust me I would remember a pretty face like that." Ian said, interrupting their staring contest. "Oh uh... yeah I'm new. I-I started three weeks ago." (Name) stammered, looking at Ian and taking a quick glance at Sam.

Sam looks surprised by this while Ian laughs. "No way! Sam here started three weeks ago too!" Ian said, slapping his hand on Sam's shoulder. "Really? Wow that's coincidence." (Name) said, looking at Sam, who scoffs. "Yeah." He muttered.

(Name) slips pass the boys walking up to the cabinet to restock the pencil packs. "You guys sure do go through a lot of pencils." (Name) said, making them both laugh. "Yeah. Yeah we do." Ian said, checking her out while her back is turn.

(Name) close the cabinet and step back out of the break room, Sam's eyes followed her every step. (Name) place her hands on a little mail cart that she had park outside the room. "Hey uh... do you guys know where Mr. Swanson's office is? I'm still a little unfamiliar with the building." She said.

"Oh y-yeah sure. You take the elevator up to..." Sam started to say, trailing off. As he stares at (Name) he felt this need to be with her as much as possible. "H-how about I show you." He suggested, with a nervous smile. "Oh that be great! I uh.. I sometimes get my rights and lefts mix up." (Name) said, and Sam chuckles.

(Name) turn away and started pushing her little cart towards the elevator. As Sam follow her, Ian slaps him on the shoulder. Sam look back a him, and Ian smiles raises his eyebrows. Sam scoffs and shook his head, turning away.

Reaching the elevator, Sam hit the call button and they both waited for a moment. "I'm uh Sam Wesson." He said, holding his hand out to (Name). She smiles and took his hand, shaking it. "(Name) Beaver."

The moment their hands touch, both Sam and (Name) felt as if a bolt of electricity zap through them. They share a smile, feeling this desire and familiarity burning inside them.

The elevator dings making them jump and let go of each other's hands, to watch the doors slide open. They enter the small empty box, with Sam hitting the button to take them up.

As the elevator begins to move, Sam glances at (Name), noticing a Space themed bracelet on her wrist. "I uh like your bracelet." He said. (Name) look at him surprise then looks down at her little charm and smiles. "Oh. Thank you." She said.

"Space is cool." Sam said. "Yes, very cool. It's always fascinated me." She said. "Really?" He asked, and (Name's) smile begin to grow. "Yes. There's like billions of stars, all of which are their own planets and worlds. So there's no possible way Earth is the only planet with life on it..."

Sam smiles at (Name), loving that glint in her eye as she continues. However (Name) suddenly stops herself. "Oh sorry. I'm going on one of my rambles." She said. "N-no! It's okay. I don't mind listening." Sam said.

"Are you sure? Once I start I have trouble stopping. It's like uh, I should stop talking, like everything that needed be said has been said and that should be the end of the conversation. But then I get really, really, nervous and I just can't stop. The words just keep flowing out of my mouth and it's like my... my brain is moving faster than my mouth, or... or rather my... my mouth is moving faster than my brain. And I'm just digging myself into a hole that just keeps getting deeper and deeper and I want to stop so badly, I'm screaming in my head to stop, but I just keep digging. And I'm doing it right now, aren't I?"

(Name) nervously looks at Sam, who only smiles back at her, affectionately. "Like I said. I don't mind listening." He said, and (Name) look at him surprised. "But try take a breath every once in a while." Sam added, and (Name) giggles. "I try. Believe me I try." She said, and Sam chuckles.

The two share another smile until the elevator ding and the doors open. "Here we are." Sam said, stepping out with (Name), who pushes her little cart. "Just go right down that hall and turn that corner there." Sam said, pointing down the hall to the left of them.

"Okay, I guess this is it." (Name) said, turning to Sam. "I guess so." He said, turning to her. They both look sad to see each other go. (Name) takes Sam's hand and starts shaking it. "Thank you for your help Sam. I'd probably stay lost in this building if I hadn't stumbled into you." She said. "It was no trouble." Sam said

The two stood there for a moment, with (Name) still shaking his hand. "I thought you were leaving." Sam said. "I am. I uh..." (Name) said, looking at their connected hands and suddenly let's go, holding her hand up as she blushes, the tips of her ears turning red.

"I'm gonna go this way now." She said, putting her hands on her cart, turning it to the left. "Okay. I'll go this way." Sam said, pointing at elevator, before hitting the button and calling it again.

"Cool-cool." She said, making Sam snigger and he smiles at her. (Name) walks down the hall, looking over her shoulder one more time and smiles at Sam before turning her head back to continue on her way. Sam smile drops as he stares after her, similar to when he met Dean in the elevator.

Later, Sam was back in his cubicle, filling out a form on a clipboard. He yawns and props his head on his hand, closing his eyes. In the brief moment his eyes are closed, Sam sees flash memories of himself killing a demon. Him, Dean, and (Name) shooting a striga. Himself dispelling an Acheri. (Name) staking a vampire and then Dean decapitating him. Sam wakes up in his cubicle and looks around.

Sam enters the elevator, seeing Dean and a few others are there. Sam tries not to stare at Dean while the elevator whirs. It dings and everyone but Sam and Dean gets out. The elevator closes and Dean glances to Sam, then away.

"Can I ask you a question?" Sam asked him. "Look, man, I told you, I'm not into the, uh..." Dean started to say. "Oh dude, come on, I'm not either. I just wanna ask you one question." Sam said. Dean looks around, seeing there's no escape. "Sure." He said.

"What do you think about ghosts?" Sam asked. "Ghosts?" Dean asked, confused. "Do you believe in them?" Sam asked, and Dean laughs. "Uh, tell you the truth, I've never given it much thought." He replied.

"Vampires?" Sam asked next. "What? Why?" Dean asked. "Because I've been having some weird dreams lately. You know what I mean?" Sam asked. "No. Not really." Dean replied, looking uncomfortable.

"So you've never had any... weird dreams?" Sam asked "All right, look, man, I don't know you, okay? But I'm gonna do a public service and, uh, let you know that... that you overshare." Dean said, pressing a floor button. The elevator dings and Dean quickly leaves.

Sam was brooding, as he walks towards the building's entrance to leave for the day. Until he notices (Name), now wearing a green jacket to cover up her uniform and had a satchel on her shoulder. She was standing outside by the door under the portico, feelings the rain coming down with her hand.

Seeing (Name) again, immediately puts Sam's worries to rest and he strangely felt a comfort by just seeing her. (Name) drop her hand to her side, frowning at the rain as Sam exits the building and walks over to her.

"Hey." Sam greeted, making (Name) jump. "O-oh! Ayyyy!" She greeted back, with a little nervous smile. "You found Swanson's office, okay?" Sam asked, and she nodded. "Oh yeah, all thanks to you." She said, and Sam smiles.

Sam opens his umbrella and steps out into the rain, turning back to (Name). "You didn't bring an umbrella?" He asked. "No. I was in a bit rush this morning. Forgot to check the weather." (Name) admitted, sheepishly.

Sam simply smiles and holds his umbrella out to (Name), who look at him surprised. She looks between him and the umbrella he was offering her. When she return her eyes onto Sam, he smiles just a little bit more, his dimples poking out.

(Name) let's out a soft gasp as her eyes widen just a little bit more, feeling her heart speeding up in her chest. Hesitantly, (Name) slowly reaches her hand out for the umbrella, pulling back for a moment when she touches his hand.

(Name) takes umbrella and shares a long gaze with Sam. "Thank you." She said, softly. "You're welcome. It's really raining cats and dogs right now." Sam said. "Yeah, there are poodles everywhere." (Name) replied. Sam blinks then burst out laughing, (Name) smiles and starts laughing too.

Sam sighs as his laughter dies down. "See you tomorrow." He said, turning and walking towards the subway. (Name) watches him leave, with an awestruck look on her face. "O-oh t-totally! See you to... mo... tomo..." She stammered, unable to get the words out.

"Whoa, why am I stammering?" She asked herself. Sam stop by the subway entrance, turning back to the building to wave (Name), who quickly waves back. Sam disappears into the subway and (Name) places her hand to her chest. "Whoa." She muttered, blushing.

The next day, an alarm clock flips from 5:59 to 6:00 and starts beeping, until a hand shuts it off. (Name) opens her eyes, smiling as she immediately starts thinking of Sam.

She gets up, preparing for the day. After a shower and getting dress she stood in front of the mirror, combing her hair longer than she would normally. She sets the comb down and looks at a bottle of perfume on the counter.

She picks it up, considering on using it. She pushes down on the top, wanting to spray it and see what it smells like. But she accidentally ends up spraying it in her face. "Ah shit!" She yelped, stumbling away from the sink.

No doubt, the girl was now klutz in love for the tall cubicle boy.

At work, Sam is in his cubicle again, addressing his headset. "Did you turn it off, then on?" Sam asked, as he draws vampires on a pad of paper. "All right, well, let's try that. No, no, it's fine, I'll wait." He said.

Sam pulls up a search engine on his computer, looking both ways before he types in 'vampires'. He clicks to image search and glances over the pictures of Dracula wannabes. "Is it printing now? Oh, that's great. Anytime." Sam said, and he pushed his mic away from his mouth.

"Whatcha doing?" Ian asked. Sam minimizes the search engine and hides the sketches, then turns to Ian, shaking his head. Ian is still the only one not wearing the yellow shirt. "Nothing." Sam replied.

"So mail girl, huh?" Ian said, grinning. "What?" Sam asked, confused. "Showing her where to go. That was awfully nice of you. You sure you didn't get your freak on in the elevator?" Ian asked. "Man, come on." Sam said, exasperated.

"I always wanted to do it in elevator." Ian said, getting lost in thought. "You're an idiot, you know that?" Sam asked. "Yeah, whatever. She's pretty cute though, right?" Ian asked. "Yeah... she is." Sam muttered, with a small smile as he thinks of (Name).

"You think she's a virgin?" Ian suddenly asked. "What?" Sam asked, taken aback by the question. "The shy ones usually are." Ian said, smirking. "Can we not talk about this?" Sam asked, feeling uncomfortable. "Why?" Ian asked, oblivious.

"Because it doesn't feel right." Sam replied. "You're such a prude." Ian remarked, and Sam look a bit shock by his comment, like he's heard that somewhere before.

"Anyway did you get an email from Human Resources?" Ian asked. "No. Why?" Sam asked. "Damn it. Guess it's just me, then. I'm supposed to, quote, report to HR, unquote." Ian said.

Sam scoffs. "They're probably finally busting you for snaking all those office supplies." He said. "I hope they spank me." Ian said, then laughs and shoves his chair back to his cubicle, leaving.

Sam returns to his search engine. "No no no no no no. Come on. Don't do this to me. Please." Paul cried. Sam minimizes the window, takes off his headset, and stands up to lean over Paul's cubicle. "Hey, man, you okay?" He asked Paul.

"It froze." Paul replied. "They're crap, Paul. They freeze all the time." Sam said. "You don't understand. When I, when I rebooted, everything was gone. A whole day's work deleted." Paul said. "Well, did you back up?" Sam asked.

"No, I didn't back up. I wish to God I backed up but I didn't. I'll get it back. I'll find it. It's somewhere. I'll find it." Paul said, frantically. "Paul, it's okay, man. These things happen." Sam said, but Paul ignored him, desperate to recover his work. So desperate in fact, it was like his life depended on it.

Sam sigh and went to sit back down, when he freezes. He saw (Name) pushing her little cart towards the break room, most likely to restock the pencils once again. Sam hastily follows her.

(Name) open the cabinet in the break room, placing more pencil packs inside. She closes the door and turns, stumbling right into Sam again. "Sorry." Sam said, apologetically. "Sam! Heh... fancy meeting you here. Or uh not. Since uh... this is your floor huh?" (Name) stammered, flashing nervous and awkward smile.

Sam snickers and smiles at her. "Yeah uh..." He started to say, but then he smells something different. "Are you..." He muttered, and sniffs the air. "Wearing perfume?" He asked, and (Name) immediately gets red in the face.

"Uh... well... um... k-kinda. I-I uh accidentally sprayed some." She stammered, looking away flustered. "Oh, well it smells nice." Sam said. "It does?" (Name) asked, and Sam nodded. "Yeah, really nice." He said, and (Name) smiles and looks away bashfully as she grabs her arm from behind her back.

"Anyway, I'm actually glad I ran into you again. I wanted to ask you something." Sam said. "Really? What?" (Name) asked, looking back at him. "What do you think about vampires?" He asked.

(Name) stares at him for a bit. "Uh... depends on which version are you talking about. Like Dracula vampires or Edward Cullen type vampires." She said. "Just vampires in general." Sam said, and (Name) thinks for a moment.

"Not really a fan. Living forever sound like a nightmare, not to mention drinking blood is disgusting. Witches are more of my type." (Name) said, and Sam smiles. "Witches, huh?" He asked. "Yeah, magic is way cooler." She replied, and he sniggers.

"So, what's with the sudden vampire question?" (Name) asked. "Oh uh... well I uh..." Sam stammered, rubbing the back of his neck. "I had a-a weird dream last night. You were in it and you got bit by vampire." He said.

"That's a bummer." (Name) said, and Sam scoffs. "Yeah, but don't worry I uh... I chop off the vampire's head with razor wire." He said, and (Name) look at him, amazed. "Wow hardcore." She said, making him smile again.

"Do you get weird dreams like that?" Sam asked. "Nope. Not really. Unless like... being chase by killer dolls counts as weird." She replied. "Not a fan of dolls either I take it." Sam said, smirking.

"Hell no! Those things are creepy as hell!" (Name) exclaimed, and Sam laughs again. The two shared a long look, staring into each other's eyes, not wanting to break away. But then (Name) clears her throat and drops her gaze to the floor. "I should uh... get back to work." She said.

"Oh yeah, yeah. I'm sorry for keeping you." Sam said, apologetically.  (Name) lifted her head to meet his eyes again. "It's alright. I enjoy talking to you, Sam." She said, flashing an adorable smile. Sam froze, looking at that smile that made it feel as if an arrow pierced his heart. Sam gulps and smiles back. "Me too." He muttered.

At the end of the day, Sam stood by a pillar on a subway platform, one hand on his bag's strap, while the other hand was holding his phone which he was looking at as he waits for the train. A few minutes later (Name) comes down the steps, with only her bag as it was too hot to wear a jacket today. She was looking to be deep in thought and was muttering to herself. "Man, I'm going crazy. I've only just met him and yet I can't stop thinking about him." She said, and turns to face the tracks.

Sam sees something out of the corner of his eye and turns his head to see her. (Name) reaches her hands up to take out her hair tie, allowing her hair to fall down free. She slides the little band on her wrist so she won't lose it and fixes her hair. Sam mouth drops open a little as he stares at her with an awestruck expression.

"Sam." She said, normally. "Sam." She said again, but this time in a more joyful tone. "Sam." She repeated, this time in a clumsy flirting tone. "Sam." She said lovely, sounding more authentic than her flirting one.

(Name) sighs and turns, making eye contact with Sam further down the platform. "SAM?!" She shrieked. They both look away as soon as they know of each other's presence and pretend like the other is not there. Some people on the platform turn to look at (Name) but quickly went back to what they were doing, like this was normal occurrence.

"Oh God, I hope he didn't hear any of that." (Name) mumbled to herself, her face and ears turning bright red with embarrassment. Both Sam and (Name) continue acting like they haven't seen each other.(Name) starts rocking back and forth on her feet, taking a quick glance at him. While Sam plays with his bag's strap, running his hands up and down it as he takes a quick glance at her.

Finally in unison they slowly turn their heads, acknowledging each other with lovesick smiles. "Oh?" (Name) said. "Heeey." Sam greeted. (Name) waves to Sam, letting out a little nervous giggle. Sam held up his hand to awkwardly wave back.

Putting his phone back in his pocket, Sam walks over to (Name), who gulps and straightens her uniform. "Hey. I didn't know we rode on the same train. Surprise, we never ran into each other before." Sam said.

"Actually, I take a different train. I'm just heading to the park today." (Name) said. "Is it alright if I asked, why?" Sam asked. "It might sound weird but uh..." (Name) muttered, rubbing her arm as she looks away and rocks side to side in her little nervous dance. "I like to people watch." She admitted.

"Really?" Sam asked, smiling a little at this. "Yeah. I know it's kinda weird but I like observing people, their mannerisms, and figuring out what their stories are." (Name) explained, and Sam nodded. "That does sound interesting. Do you mind if I tag along?" He asked, and (Name's) face lit up. "Not at all! The more the merrier." She said, grinning.

Sam and (Name) arrived at the park, taking a seat on a bench under a tree. From their seat, they had a great view of the most notable areas of the park. The playground, a small picnic area nearby, the bridge, and the lake that had a fountain in it.

"This is my favorite spot in park. You get a good view of everything." (Name) said to Sam, who nodded. "Yeah, it's uh a great view. So how do we do this?" He asked. "All you do, is pick a person you see and try to guess what their story is. Simple. Here, I'll go first." (Name) said, scanning the park for a moment.

"The guy right there on the bridge. I think he's gonna propose." (Name) said, and Sam looks surprised by this. "What? How do you know?" He asked. "Look. He looks really nervous and is bouncing his weight from one foot to the other. That's something I do a lot. And he keeps fixing his hair and smelling his breath, while fiddling with something as his pocket. Also that bridge seems to be an iconic place in town to propose at. I've seen two couples so far get engaged on that bridge." (Name) explained.

Sam watches the nervous man on the bridge for a moment, when a woman approaches. The man on the bridge turns her, flashing an awkward smile. Sam and (Name) watches them intently, as the possible couple exchange a few words.

The man then gets down on one knee and holds out an engagement ring. The woman gasps and accepts the ring. The man stands up and the woman leaps into his arms as they hug and kiss, celebrating their engagement.

"Wow. You're really good at this." Sam said, and (Name) giggles. "I've been doing it for a while. Your turn." She said, and Sam looks around the park for something notable.

"Uh... how about that mother and daughter." He said, pointing towards the playground where a woman was pushing a little girl on the swings. The little girl looked to be around ten years old while the woman looked very young, in her late teens or possibly very early twenties.

"Are you sure that's her mom? She looks really young. Looks more like an older sister." (Name) said, and Sam let a little nervous chuckle. "She looks older far away." He said, scratching his head sheepishly.

(Name) giggle, which made Sam smile. "Okay, what do you think their story is?" She asked. "Uh... they're.... spending quality time at the park?" Sam replied, unsure with his answer and (Name) giggles again. "Sorry, I don't have much imagination." Sam said.

"It's okay. I think you're on the right track." (Name) said. "Really?" Sam asked. "Yeah. Judging by those bags under her eyes, I'm guessing she looks after her little sister while their parents are busy with work. Maybe they only have one single parent and she has a job to help out with bills. Even though she's exhausted, she still tries to make time for her little sister. Especially since their parent is so busy and can't make the time for her themselves." (Name) explained.

Sam look at her amazed and turns his attention back to the people on the playground. The big sister pushed her little sister on the swing, and as little sis flew away from her, the big sis let out yawn.

"Wow." Sam muttered, and he turn his head to look at (Name) again. "That's really amazing, (Name)." He said, and (Name) turn to look at him. "What is?" She asked. "You see people." Sam replied, and he smiles at her.

(Name) begins to blush and she smiles as she looks away. "Ah, it's nothing really. I just have a habit of overanalyzing stuff." She said. "If you were to overanalyze me... what would you see?" Sam asked, curious. "Hm..." (Name) hummed, returning her eyes onto Sam to look at him.

As she stares into Sam's eyes, she felt something so familiar about them and before she knew it, she was getting lost in her own thoughts. "To be honest... I see a lot pain and darkness in you. Like you've been suffering for a long time. Feeling like something in you is... broken or wrong and because of that you think you don't belong anywhere." (Name) said, and Sam drop his smile.

"But I see a tremendous amount of good in you too. I feel like you're a compassionate man with a pure heart, who wants to see the best in others and help people. Which is a really wonderful thing." (Name) said, feeling her heart beginning to race in her chest.

Sam's eyes soften as he felt his own heart speeding up in a way he's never felt before. At least as far as he remembers, but for some reason something felt familiar about it. Something about her feels so familiar, he just can't figure out why.

"How... how did you get all that?" Sam asked, softly, as their faces slowly start leaning closer, unconsciously. "I... I don't know. It all just came to me." (Name) whispered.

As the distance between their faces gets much more nigh, the tension got to them and they both scooted back from each other, flustered. Sam frantically look for something to take the tension off. He sees a man selling ice cream from his cart that was set up further down the path behind (Name).

Sam closes his eyes for a second as he sees a flash image in his mind of himself as child eating ice cream with a little girl, but he couldn't see her face.

Sam opens his eyes and looks at (Name), feeling a tug on his heart. "Hey uh... Y-you wanna get some ice cream?" He asked, with a nervous smile as he points behind her. (Name) turns to look at the cart and smiles. "Yeah, that sounds great." She said.

Sam let's a breath of a relieve and they got up, walking towards the cart. "So, what's your favorite flavor?" (Name) asked. "Oh uh, strawberry." Sam replied, and (Name) smiles, raising an eyebrow. "Really?" She asked. "That surprising?" Sam asked. "A little." She replied, and Sam smiles.

"Yours is chocolate, right?" He asked, and (Name) drops her smile, looking shocked. "Yeah. How'd you know?" She asked, and Sam pauses to think for a moment and frowns. "Uh... lucky guess? Everyone likes chocolate." He said, a bit perplexed by how he randomly knew her favorite ice cream.

Someone takes their ice cream from the man, walking away right as Sam and (Name) walked up. "Hi. One chocolate and one strawberry please." Sam ordered, and the man smiles at the two. "Of course. Would you like them in the sweetheart cone?" The man asked.

Both Sam and (Name's) eyes widen at this as they both blushed. "N-no! Separate is fine!" Sam said, quickly. "Y-yeah, super fine!" (Name) said. The ice cream man smiles at the two, like he was in on some big secret, and scoop up the ice cream for them.

"There you are." He said, holding out the cones. "Thank you." (Name) said, taking her cone as she goes to pay for her own ice cream. "It's okay, I'll pay for it." Sam said, taking out his wallet. "Are you sure?" (Name) asked, surprise and touched by this.

"Yeah." Sam replied, flashing her a quick smile as he pays the man and takes his ice cream. "Enjoy!" The ice cream man said, smiling as he watches them walk back to their bench to sit down.

(Name) smiles at her ice cream about to take a taste of it, when she suddenly hear two children scream. Both her and Sam turn their heads to see two little girls each holding messy empty cones.

"Dad, our ice creams melted!" The oldest said, holding up her cone to her father, who was sitting on a bench in the shade with his own ice cream in a bowl. "It's a hot day, kid. You had 'em out in the sun. The sun melts ice creams." The dad explained.

"But that's not fair!" The oldest cried. "It's about as fair as it gets, actually." The dad said. "Can you buy was another one?" The youngest asked. "Zero chance." The dad replied.

The youngest groaned at this response, dropping her cone. "Aw, why not?" The oldest asked. "Cause it's not my fault they melted. You took long to eat 'em." The dad explained. "So we get nothing." The oldest asked, dramatically.

"Well, you get a valuable life lesson." The dad replied. "I don't want a valuable life lesson! I just want an ice cream." The oldest said, dropping her little head in sadness.

The dad frown at their sad faces. "All right I tell you what, you kids can have mine." He said, holding his bowl out to them. The oldest smiles, while the youngest frown. "Really?" The oldest asked. "Yeah, really." The dad replied, smiling.

"But doesn't it have peanuts in it?" The youngest asked, and the dad frown. "Oh yeah. I forgot." He said, looking down at his bowl ashamed he forgot his youngest daughter has a peanut allergy for a second.

Sam look up surprise when (Name) suddenly got up and walk over to the father and his daughters. "Here you go sweetie, you can have mine." She said, holding her cone out to the youngest and she gasps. "For real life?!" She asked, and (Name) giggles. "For real life." She replied. Sam smiles at (Name) with a soft loving expression.

"Yeah, thank nice lady!" The little girl said, as she happily took the cone, while her big sister took their dad's ice cream. "You're welcome." (Name) said. "Thanks." The dad said to her and (Name) smiles, waving goodbye to him and the girls as she walks back over to Sam.

"Wow, you're really good with kids." Sam said, as she re-took her seat next to him. "Aww it was nothing. I just hate seeing those little disappointed faces." (Name) said, and Sam chuckles as he continue smiling at her so lovingly.

"Do you want my ice cream?" Sam asked, holding his cone out to her. "I can't take yours." She said, waving her hand. "It's okay." Sam assured her, and (Name) pauses for a moment when she gets an idea.

"Oh! I got an idea!" She said, and gets up to jog back over to the ice cream man. Sam watches as the man hands her two little plastic spoons. (Name) jogs back over and sits down, holding one of the spoons out to Sam.

"We can share!" She said, and Sam chuckles as he accept the spoon. "Good idea." He said. Both Sam and (Name) took a spoon full of the ice cream, eating it together, feeling the emotions for each other rapidly growing.

"You gonna be okay, getting home this late. I can walk with you if you want." Sam said, as they waited on the subway platform. "Yeah, I'll be okay, don't worry. If anything happens, I got a switchblade in my pocket." (Name) said, and Sam looks surprised by this. "Oh. Wow." He muttered.

The subway train soon arrived and people start boarding it. "Well, this is it. I'll see you tomorrow, Sam." (Name) said, stepping into the car. "Yeah." Sam muttered, sad to see her go.

(Name) turns around to look at him, standing right in front of the doors. "Maybe we can uh... do this again. Sometime soon." She said, and Sam's eyes lit up. "Y-yeah! Definitely!" He said, with a big dimple smile.

(Name) smiles back. "Laters, gators." She said, waving. Sam laughs and held up his hand to give his signature awkward wave back. "See you around, (Name)."

The subway doors close and the train departs, Sam stands there watching it leave, with the biggest smile. As he walks back to his apartment, he was still smiling and walking with a little pep in his step.

An old lady, who runs a flower shop near his apartment building was checking on her flowers outside her shop when Sam starts walking up. She notices that smile of his and turn away from her flowers to speak to him. "Why Sam, that's the big smile I've ever seen on you." She said, sweetly.

Sam chuckles and ducks his head. "Did something good happen today?" The old woman asked, and Sam nodded. "Yeah. I think I'm in love."
