"In that warehouse, we found documents where Taemin was planning to become the CEO of Park Foundations. And Hosoek co-CEO."
Jimin knew this was coming. His dad was dead and the company already handed to him on a golden platter. He would have to take it sooner or later.
"Well he's dead now, so what's the issue. Jimin hyung can just take over." The maknae said and he wasn't entirely wrong.
"Jimin can easily take over but there's a chance Taemin already submitted those documents, legally. It would be difficult to withdraw them." Namjoon then said.
"But, there's already a contract saying I'm the new CEO" Jimin said confused.
"Which you never signed babe" Yoongi told him. As long as Jimin hasn't signed the contract, he doesn't have the company
"I'm his blood. Unfortunately, that has to mean something." Jimin couldn't figure out why he can't just sign the papers and walk into the propriety that he should then own.
"In this world, it doesn't matter. Blood or not, the CEO has to approve the next persons they want to take over."
"But my dad didn't approve Taemin."
"Maybe he did" Yoongi said and everyone looked to him. He was deep in thought.
He thought about the time he first tried to kill the CEO. As soon as Yoongis gun was aimed at him, he got a phone call and went back into the car with many, many guards surrounding him. It had to be Taemin.
He told the others and Jimin made a 'what the fuck' face at the elder and made a mental note to ask his questions later.
"So you're saying Taemin knew you were about to kill him and called him?" Jin asked
"That's exactly what I'm saying. He must have been working with him for a while. He might have then got himself approved." Yoongi said and looked at Jimin.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked because it wasn't just Yoongi, everyone was looking at him.
"Did Taemin know about what your dad use to do to you? Did you tell him?" Namjoon asked and Jimin simply nodded.
"He must have liked it and gotten on his side, cheating on Jimin and breaking up with him at the same time to get to his dad" someone said and everyone looked for the voice and found
"Kai? When did you come?" Taehyung asked
"I've been stood here for 10 minutes. What the hell man." He made an offended face but recovered.
"Yeah, what Kai said." Jungkook said.
"You all are idiots." Jin finally spoke up. He was quiet the whole time
"Hyung is right. You all are stupid and aren't looking at the main thing" Jimin agreed with the eldest. Everyone looked to Jin or Jimin for elaboration.
"None of this will matter if Taemin hasn't even submitted the papers. I doubt he had because he was waiting for Jimin to die but he died instead." Jin explained and everyone made an 'oh' face.
"Kai, go check." Yoongi ordered.
"Why me? Namjoons the one who can hack shit"
"Namjoon. Go check." Yoongi ordered again. Namjoon glared at Kai he smirked. None of them wanted to do any work today.
"Anyway, while we wait for an answer. Has yesterdays mess been cleaned?" Yoongi asked and Taehyung nodded.
"Everything clear. All important documents and weapons, drugs and other gang business shit has been put in your office for you to look over. But we were wondering if you want us to leave the warehouse or blow it up" Taehyung explain the whole situation and Jimin answered without hesitation
"Blow it up" he had no emoting on his face when saying that and he looked evil it kinda scared everyone
"Yoongi you idiot. Your darkness is rubbing off on him." Jin said hitting the back of Yoongis head who just pouted like a child. Jimin made him soft.
Everyone laughed at their boss and went back to their jobs or whatever the hell they were doing. Yoongi had to go see the things in his office so Jimin went off with the Taekook couple.
"So, when's the wedding?" Was the first thing he asked. The couple looked at each other and subtly nodded, silently agreeing to just tell him
"Hopefully next week." Jungkook said
"That's great. Why?"
"Because next week is our 4 year anniversary. And all of this shit is almost kind of over." Taehyung explained and Jimin was so happy for the coupsle. They were his best friend and Taehyung became his soulmate.
"That's amazing. I'm really happy for you guys. But Tae, will you leave the gang after?"
"Never. We've already talked about this too. I'm going to leave the manor, no matter how luxurious and amazing it is, I'm going to move out with kook. And I'm still going to be part of the gang. That won't change. My missions and stuff, it kind of defines me now."
Jimin looked at the couple who were looking into each other's eyes and smiled. Their love was so strong and it was so obvious. They saw themselves in each other and Jungkook looked at Taehyung like he hung the sky. Tae looked at him like he made it.
Jimin realised they needed to be alone. So he stood up and silently left the room. He stood against the door for a second thinking about where his life also landed. His love.
So he went to him. He made his way through the manor and lightly knocked on the door. When he heard the signal to come in, he entered to see Yoongi looking tired and sleepy at his desk.
He walked over to him and went behind his chair and started to rub his shoulders. He could feel Yoongi relax under his touch
"Don't you think you've been in here enough for a day. You need to rest" he told the blond. His hair still needed dying but Jimin kept forgetting.
"I know, but I have all this work that noone else is going to do" Yoongi voiced and just by the tone of his voice, anyone could tell he would drop any second.
"It can be done tomorrow, it's not going anywhere" Jimin grabbed Yoongi hand to try and lift him off his seat. Notice I said try. Yoongi grabbed his hand and pulled him towards him and he landed in Yoongi lap.
"How are you feeling? Still sore?" He stroked Jimin hair and asked in a soft voice.
"I'm fine. I took pain killers"
"Hmm." Yoongi hummed in response. "You're beautiful" he suddenly said after a while. Jimin blushed but then realised what the older was trying to do
"Your sweet talk and compliments aren't getting you out of rest. Now get up" Jimin said and stood up. Yoongi laughed but still followed his lead. He grabbed Jimins hand again and walked to their room.
They entered and Yoongi threw himself on the bed, clearly tired. Jimin was about to get him some different clothes to change into and sleep but once again, he was pulled towards the latter and landed next to him.
"You need to stop pulling me. I'm going to break an arm" Jimin mumbled and Yoongi just hummed with his eyes closed. Jimin then tried to get up but to no avail.
"Just lay with me until I fall asleep." He sleepily said but his body obviously wanted something else when Jimin felt something poking him.
"You idiot" Jimin said and Yoongi just smirked, eyes still closed
"Not my fault" the elder tried to justify himself.
"You pulled me here. Also I'm in pain and you're exhausted. Put 2 and 2 together and don't come up with 5." Jimin stood up and made the older change into something else before putting him in bed and pulling the sheets up.
Jimin then made a move to take Yoongis phone so nothing would disturb him, but Yoongi must have known and his eyes shot open
"Why are you taking my phone?" He demanded and Jimin just shrugged and walked to the door
"Now sleep. Oh, and I'm dying your hair tomorrow." And he left the room. It took Yoongi a while to fall asleep as he thought of all the piles of unfinished work on his desk. But he got there in the end.
Jimin was bored again. He wanted to go out with Yoongi but after seeing his tired state, changed his mind. So he went through Yoongis phone. It's fine. Yoongi wouldn't mind, he thought.
He found old pictures of him and some with the guys. He saw pictures of guns and drugs Yoongi must have taken for work purposes. Ever since he started dating Yoongi, he found some interest in guns.
He then remembered the hair dye. So he grabbed Taehyung and went shopping with him to get some. They ended up buying other stuff too. Upon arriving home, they found Namjoon waiting for them.
"Hey Jimin. Good news. Those papers were never submitted or approved by court. Everything is legally yours as soon as you sign those papers."
He explained and the other twos eyes were wide. Thank god. They didn't actually know what to do if those papers were turned in.
"So what now?" Jimin asked and Namjoon smirked, replying with
"You take what's yours."
