CHAPTER 32

ONE WEEK LATER...
"FUCK!" Klane cussed. "Damn that fucking guy!" Naiinis siya dahil isang linggo na ang nakalipas ay hindi pa tapos ang mission nila. Isa nalang ang natitira nilang kalaban pero naiinis siya dahil lagi silang natatakasan nito.
"Damn that asshole!" Sigaw ni Klane saka sinipa ang upuan sa harapan nila.
"What makes him so pissed?" Ani ni Mattheus habang nakatingin sa kaibigan na parang mababaliw.
Drake who was near with Mattheus, shrugged. " I don't know. Simula kahapon, ganyan na 'yan. Maybe he's pissed because it's been one week passed when Lexien is gone and looks like his sane is fading away."
Mattheus shook his head." Kaya nga ayaw kong ma-inlove. Nakakatakot pag nagkataon. Ayokong mabaliw."
Ilang minuto tiningnan nila ang kaibigan at mukhang hindi na kaya ni Sebastian ang nakikita nito kaya lumapit ito kay Klane.
"Bud, what's wrong?" Tanong ni Sebastian nang makalapit ito kay Klane. " Your ruining our things here. Mind sharing us your fucking problems?"
Klane tsked and looked unbelievably at Sebastian. "Mind your own business. " Simple words but that made Sebastian got irritated.
"Your our friend." May diin ang pagkakasabi niyon ni Sebastian. "It's just normal to mind your problems. Hope that maybe we can help even if just was a little."
Klane looked away and sighed. "Psh... I'm just pissed."
"We know."
"And I'm so--" Hindi na natuloy ang sasabihin ni Klane ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone nito.
Klane got his phone and immediately looked for the name of the caller. He frowned when he saw an unregistered number.
Frowning, he answered the call and waited for someone who speak into it. Seconds later, Klane heard the voice of his annoying brother-in-law.
"Miss me, Fucker?"
Nalukot ang mukha ni Klane sa narinig. "What the fuck? Why the fuck are you calling me?"
Tumawa ang taong nasa kabilang linya. "Tumawag ako kasi na miss kita. Don't you miss me, dear?"
"Fuck you!" Klane cussed. Wala siyang pakialam kung kapatid ito ni Lexien. "Straight to the point. Don't make me wait up or I end this call."
"So bossy." Luke tsked. " Well... I just call because I want to tell you that the deal is over."
Dumilim ang mukha ni Klane. "I remember that clearly. Don't you dare do that or else I'll kill you by my hands." Klane clenched his fist. "I swear. I'm not kidding."
Luke laughed. "Hahaha, do you think I let you kill me?" Umingos ito. "Psh... Well, the deal is a deal. I will do it whether you like it or not."
"Don't you dare!" Klane shouted loudly making everyone on the room looked at him confusedly. Walang umimik sa kanila dahil ramdam nila ang galit ni Klane. Klane become a monster when he got angry and they didn't want that to explode.
"Why? We're in Spain and you, will... you're far away." Luke has a wide grin on his lips. " Just wait for the pictures, okay? I'm sure your gonna be pissed about it." Then, Luke started to laughed again.
"Fuck you! Damn you! Go to hell!" Klane was fuming mad. "Don't you dare or I will kill you!"
Luke has a mischievous smile on his lips. "Your welcome by the way. Pictures gonna be send on a minute. Just wait for it, okay? Hope you'll have a good day. Bye."
Klane clenched his fist and shouted to express his anger.
"Bud, what's wrong?" Sebastian asked Klane.
Klane blows out a loud breath and mess his hair. "That fucking asshole. How dare him to do that!"
"Sino ba iyon?"
"Lexien's brother."
Sebastian gulped. "Shouldn't you be nice to him since he's Lexien's brother?"
Klane rolled his eyes. "Psh...that man doesn't deserve my kindness. He's a crazy and idiot motherfucker. I will really skin him alive for what he did."
Napailing si Sebastian sa narinig. "Good luck with that, buddy."
Minutes later, Klane phone's suddenly sound and that moment, Klane knew who and what it is. Mahigpit ang hawak ni Klane sa cellphone habang pinipigilan ang sariling emosyon.
When he feels better, he opened his phone and press the notification where an email sent to him.
Klane pressed the email and looked for inside in it. And then, it is. It was a picture of Lexien who was with a handsome man and in the picture, they looked so happy together.
Klane gritted his teeth as he clenched his fist. Puno ng galit, selos, and pag-aalala ang namayani sa damdamin niya. He wanted to punch this jerk who make his Lexien smile and happy like that. Hell, no one can make Lexien happy but him. Only him! How dare they did this to him! They will pay!
Klane was busy about planning thoughts about killing that man and Luke when he suddenly heard Sebastian spoke. Akala niya ay umalis na ito kaya hindi niya alam na naroon pa pala ito sa likuran niya. And looks like he saw that photo because he asked him about that.
"Is that Lexien?"
"Yeah." Walang buhay na sagot niya.
"Sino iyan?" Tanong nito sa kasama ni Lexien sa larawan.
"A piece of shit that I'm planning to killed."
Sebastian looked closer and got his phone. Sinuri nito ang picture saka nagsalita. "Let me check it. It looks like real but it seems edited."
Klane stilled. "W-what?"
Sebastian did something on his phone and then, he left. Maya't maya lang ay bumalik ito dala ang laptop na lagi nitong ginagamit sa tuwing may gagawin silang misyon.
Umupo ito sa sofa saka binuksan ang laptop na dala nito. Klane immediately sit beside him and looked at the laptop.
"What do you mean earlier?" Tanong ni Klane sa kaibigan na abala sa pagsusuri sa larawan.
"Oh? I mean... The photo looks legit maybe but for me, it's edited." Sebastian paused for a second. " Got it." Nakangisi na ito ngayon. "I'm right. The photo is edited."
Klane looked at the laptop and Sebastian was right. It was edited. It was just a picture of a woman not Lexien with someone.
Gulat na napatingin sa gawi si Klane sa katabi. "How the hell did you do that?"
Sebastian smirked. "That's because I'm awesome."
Klane shook his head. "So Luke just made me angry for nothing?"
Sebastian shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe."
"Fuck!" Napahilamos ng mukha si Klane. "That fucking asshole! How dare him he trick me!"
Isinara ni Sebastian ang laptop saka humarap kay Klane. "May away ba kayo ng kuya ni Lexien?"
"Nah..." Klane sighed. "Let's just say this that he doesn't want me for Lexien."
"Oh..." Napalabi si Sebastian. "That must be hard. I mean... He's only the one Lexien's family left and looks like you have to work hard to earn his trust."
"I guess so but... I can't understand him. He's such a crazy annoying fucker."
Sebastian chuckled. "Well... You too is such a crazy annoying fucker. I guess you two matched."
Napangiwi si Klane saka tumayo. "Track that fucking Mr.Runaway. Pag nalaman mo kung nasaan siya, sabihan mo ako. I want to end this fucking mess so I can be with my family. Fuck! My hands was so eager to kill him. I will really make him suffer a lot for waiting me like this."
Sebastian nodded and smile. "Oki-doki."
"WE'RE RIGHT." wika ni Sebastian habang nakatingin sa laptop na dala niya. "Pupunta nga siya dito gaya ng inaasahan natin."
Klane nodded. "Good. Let's do it now. Fuck! I miss my kids and Lexien."
Sebastian smiled and pressed something on his laptop. "Yeah...let's end this shit."
Klane stood up and called Mattheus. "How is it?"
"We're at the area. We're ready as we speak." Sagot ni Mattheus.
"Be ready." Yun lang ang nasabi ni Klane bago patayin ang tawag. "Sebastian, tell them to connect their earphones call now."
"Oki-doki."
When everything is okay, Klane told each of them about their plan and everything.
"Be safe." Tugon ni Klane sa mga kasamahan. "Ayokong may isa sa atin ang mamatay. You come here alive and you will leave here alive. And don't forget to stick to the plan. Got it?"
"Yes."
Klane sighed. "Good. Now, Sebastian where is he?"
Sebastian sighed. "Seriously? May gana pa talaga siyang makipagtalik habang nanganganib na ang buhay niya? Doesn't he care about himself?"
"He's to careless." Biglang saad ni Drake.
"Well...it's his last night by the way." Sabad naman ni Zander. "I guess he need to have fun first before he die."
Klane shook his head and readied his gun. "Location, Velasquez."
"Third floor. Room 205."
Klane sighed. "Got it. Everyone in position. When I say three, everyone move. Got it?"
"Yes!"
"Good...in one....two....three, go!"
Everyone move as Klane said the cignal word. In every location of the hotel, it was surrounded by Klane's people ready to fight and kick some ass.
At the same time, Klane together with Benedix, goes to third floor, looking for the room 205, where there only enemy's location.
When they reached at the third floor, it was so dark and the lights were turn off.
"Velasquez, why the heck is the third floor so dark?" Klane asked while looking around the area. "Velasquez? Hello? Velasquez, where are you?"
Klane became worried and conscious. He knew what is happening right now. Before he could do something, the lights suddenly light up.
"Velasquez, why the fuck aren't you answering me?"
"Bud... I think I know your answer." Sagot ni Benedix habang nakatingin sa likuran ni Klane.
Klane turned around to looked for it and he saw Sebastian was held by their enemy.
"Velasquez!"
Klane was about to run over them when Benedix stopped him by holding his arms.
"Hold on, Craig. Remember the plan." Paalala ni Benedix sa kaibigan.
Klane didn't spoke and calmly looked at them. He doesn't want to ruin their plan so he must play good.
"Bitawan niyo siya." Malamig na pagkakasabi ni Klane sa kalaban na hawak si Sebastian.
The person who wear a blue business suit smirked. "Oh? Why, Craig? Worried about your fucking friend?"
Dumilim ang mukha ni Klane sa narinig. "Just do whatever I say. Or else..."
"What?"
"I kill all of you."
The man laughed. A sarcastic laugh. "Really? You kill us? But how?" The man smirked. "How can you kill us if your surrounded with my men?"
Klane acted like he was stunned and froze.
"Shocked, ei?" The man asked. "Craig, may I tell you that I'm wiser and smarter than you. Do you think hindi ko alam ang plano niyo, ha?" Then the man laughed. "You may be shocking in fear and nervousness inside now. Sayang ka... Mamamatay ka agad ng bata pa."
Klane clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. Sobrang grabreng pagpipigil ang ginawa niya bago siya huminga ng malalim saka tumingin uli sa kalaban.
Then, he looked at Sebastian and nodded.
"We'll leave in peace." Ani Klane. "Sorry for the disturbance."
Hindi makapaniwalang tingin ang ibinigay ni Han sa kanila. "Huh... you'll leave? Really? And wait... Did you just say sorry to me?"
Klane answered. "Yes."
"Wow!" Han was in shocked hearing from his enemy the word 'sorry'. "You apologize. That's new!" Isang nanunuyang tingin ang ibinigay ni Han sa kanila. "Ganyan na ba ang ugali sa isang taong inlove? Damn! What happened to the ruthless and heartless mafia lord?"
Klane smiled confidently like he was winning a big prize. "Yes, I am inlove. I'm so proud of that."
Han became more shocked seeing the mafia lord smile. "Shit...you smile." Siniko nito ang katabi. "Malinaw naman ang mata ko diba? Nakita niyo iyon diba? Ngumiti siya?"
"Yes, boss."
Hand laughed sarcastically. "Hahaha...you... hahaha... I couldn't believe it. Totoo nga ang balita." But then Mr. Han smirked. "Pero kahit na nagbago ka, I know your still a monster. I wonder though, how could a woman love that monster? He's not worth for loving."
Klane couldn't control it anymore. He raised his hand as a sign of go signal and everything was in chaos. Klane's men who's position are being a snipers, attack Mr. Han and it's companion. Klane and Benedix immediately looked for a wall to cover.
"Fuck! Si Sebastian!" Nag-aalalang sambit ni Benedix.
"Don't worry, he's safe. He got protection." Sagot ni Klane saka pinutukan ang ilang mga kalaban.
"Klane, Han is wearing a protection on his body. Better shot him on the head."
"Copy."
"Wait...is that Sebastian?" Benedix asked to Klane when he heard Sebastian voice on the earphone.
"Yes. He's alive and he's working. So yeah..."
"Oh..."
"You go to right. "Utos ni Klane kay Benedix. "I go to left."
"But you go there alone---"
"It's okay. I'll live. Promise." Wika ni Klane.
Benedix sighed. "Be safe, bud."
Klane nodded and entered the left hallway. Panay ang takbo niya upang maabutan ang kalaban niya. Mr. Han is running away again from them. As if he could let him go. Not anymore.
Klane was in the middle of running when Sebastian just spoke.
"Han is going on the basement. With 8 guards on him. He's running away with us again."
Klane smirked. " As if I let him go this time again." Aniya saka mas binilisan pa ang takbo papunta sa basement.
Klane knew that if he run so fast, hindi pa rin niya maaabutan si Han. Klane stopped on running and looked for a window. He calculated the distance from his position to the basement and it was easier to be there if you fall from his area. Pag tumalon siya mula sa kinaroroonan niya, sigurado siyang maabutan niya ang kalaban niya.
Focusing himself, Klane didn't hesitate and jump from his position below. Good thing he saw a long thick cloth. He grabbed the cloth and pulled himself towards the hallway.
Gumulong ang katawan ni Klane sa semento. He got some scratch and cut for his arm. Hindi ito inalintala ni Klane saka tumayo at tumakbo muli.
Klane ran fast as he could. When, he got there, he didn't saw his enemy. There was just a car and looks like this place have a secret way on the road.
Klane waited for a couple of minutes before his enemy entered the room.
"He's not following us anymore?" Han asked his men with a cathing breath.
"I didn't see him around." Sagot naman ng isa sa mga tauhan ni Han.
"Good thing." Ani ni Han saka may kinuha ito sa bulsa. "Let's get on the car. Let's get out of here."
Gustong matawa ni Klane sa nakita. Han really want to runaway again, like he always does.
"Surprised?" Nakangising tanong ni Klane sa tauhan ni Han na hindi makapaniwalang nakatingin sa kanya na nakahilig sa sasakyan.
"You piece of shit!" Han shouted. "Get out of our sight!"
"Why would I?" Klane asked. " Do you think I let you go without giving me a fight?"
Han give him a fury look. "My men will kill you."
"As if I would let your men kill me." Sagot naman ni Klane.
Nananaliksik na mga matang tumingin si Han sa kanya. "Kill him." Utos nito sa mga tauhan bago tumalikod sa kanila saka tumakbo.
"Psh..." Klane sighed. "He's such a coward." Tiningnan ni Klane ang tauhan ni Han. "I'm not really interested into you guys. So, will you let me go and kill your master?"
"We'll protect our master no matter what it cost!" Sigaw ng isa sa tauhan ni Han.
Klane tsked. "Your wasting my time here. Drake, get into them."
"Copy." Drake answered. He was in charge of sniper team.
Klane doesn't want any chance to give Han to runaway again. With that, Klane didn't mind Han's men and started running again to catch up his enemy. Mr. Han is old anymore so, it's stamina is weak. Compared to him, he's nothing to beat.
When Klane left, he heard a screaming of pain on Han's men. Good for them.
Klane smirked and started finding Han. There one and only enemy.
"Klane, he's on second floor already. Don't worry, we'll trapped him up." Ani Sebastian.
"Good, I'm coming there. Wait me." Sagot ni Klane saka mas bumilis ang2 takbo papunta sa second floor.
Nang makarating siya roon, he saw Han being surrounded by his men.
"Get out of my way!"Sigaw nito.
"Sorry, Mr. Han but we can't." Sagot ni Klane saka lumapit rito at sinuntok ito. "That's for running away from us." Then another punch came to his face again. " That's for making me bore." Then a strong kick Klane give him. "That's for making me so mad." Klane got his gun. Itinutok niya ito sa ulo nito. "Any last wish before you die?"
"I-i k-kill y-you..."
"Psh..." Klane rolled his eyes. "As if you can."
"I can." Wika ni Han saka inilabas ang isang controller na nasa bulsa nito.
"Shit!" Sebastian cussed.
"Kung mamatay man ako ngayon, sisiguruduhin kong kasama ko kayong mamatay!"
Klane knew that this would come to happen. Good thing they already planned this ahead. Thanks to Zander and his predictions.
"We already got the bomb. Zander already refuse it minutes ago. So, don't worry and continue your business down there, okay!" Wika ni Mattheus.
Lihim na napangiti si Klane sa sinabi ni Mattheus. Mapalad siyang nagkaroon ng mapagaasahang mga kaibigan.
"Thanks." Klane answered.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Han asked furiously. "Aren't you afraid at all!?"
Klane shrugged. "Why wouldn't we? Your bombs already refused. So there's nothing to afraid about."
"R-refused?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Han. "What the hell..."
"Yeah...what the hell." Klane answered mockingly. "Sebastian, you know what to do with him." Utos ni Klane kay Sebastian.
Sebastian nodded and smile. "We'll gonna play for him a bit then boogsh! Bye, bye."
"Yeah...yeah." Klane sighed. "Make sure he's suffer before he die."
"You can count on me, bud." Nakangising sagot ni Sebastian.
Klane nodded and turn around. Kailangan niyang umalis na rin sa lugar na iyon at mag-impake. Kailangan na niyang sunduin ang mag-ina niya sa Spain.
With that, Klane started walking when he noticed something. Nanlaki ang mga mata niya ng makitang wala na ang kuwintas na suot-suot niya.
"Fuck!" Klane cussed as he tried to remember where he could possibly left the necklace.
"Basement..." Klane murmured before going down to the basement.
"Klane, where are you going?" Rinig na tanong ni Zander kay Klane na mabilis na tumatakbo.
"Basement. I left something important there."
"Don't it's dangerous there."
Klane confused but still, he didn't stopped running. "Why?"
"May bomba pa kaming hinahanap roon. Hindi ko pa narerefuse 'yun."
"But I'm here already."
"Shit!" Zander hissed. "Get the fuck out of there!"
Hindi pa nakakapagsalita si Klane ay sunod-sunod na pagsabog ang namayani sa lugar. A loud explosion making Klane's body thrown away and smash on the wall hardly.
"Klane! Fuck! You okay there? Klane! Fuck it! We're coming!"
Klane wanted to opened his eyes and answered his friend that he's okay, but he couldn't do it. He felt like his body was in so sore and in so much pain. And then later on, he felt his eyes, slowly about to closed. Kahit na anong pilit niyang ibuka ito ay hind niya kaya pa. There's only one thing he thought so much about.
It's his family.
"SWEETHEART, COME ON, samahan mo naman ako." Wika ni Luke kay Lexien na nakahiga lang sa kama. Gusto kasi nitong magpasama sa isang party na dadaluhan nito mamayang gabi.
Lexien grunted. "No..."
"Sweetheart, please. Just this one. Samahan mo naman ako, o. Dapat kang mag-enjoy habang nag-stastay ka rito."
Lexien pouted. "Ayoko nga sabi. Tinatamad ako. Gusto kong matulog."
Napailing nalang si Luke sa sinabi ng kapatid. Lexien loves to sleep and eat a lot this time. Maybe because she's pregnant. That's why.
"Sleeping all the day doesn't good for a pregnant woman, sweetheart." Ani Luke.
Inis na bumangon si Lexien sa kama saka pagalit na nagsalita. "Ayoko nga sabi, e! Ba't ba ang kulit-kulit mo! Kung gusto mong magpasama, kulitin mo sina Venice kundi si Daisy. Huwag ako, okay!"
Luke gulped and became silent. Hindi niya inakala na masisigawan siya ng nakababatang kapatid. He was shocked.
Seeing at her brother's reaction, Lexien felt guilty for what she said. "Sorry..." She apologized. "I didn't mean to shout at you, Kuya."
Luke blinked and smile a little. "Ah...it's okay. Pasensiya na sa abala. I'll go ahead. May appointment pa pala ako, so I'll leave you here. Bye."
Napakagat-labi si Lexien dahil sa ginawang pag-alis ni Luke sa silid niya. She feels so guilty about her actions. Hindi niya naman sinasadya iyon pero she suddenly burst out. Nailabas niya ang lahat ng emosyon na namayani sa damdamin niya. She was really frustrated and angry.
Bukod pa roon, she was also worried about Klane too. It's been more than a week passed and there's still no sign of him. She can't even contact him. There's no communication or anything. Hindi siya mapanatag hangga't wala siyang alam sa nangyayari sa buhay ni Klane ngayon.
Lexien was in the middle of in deep thought when Laxus came into her, holding something like necklace and he was crying so loud, making Lexien looked at his direction.
"Baby," nag-aalalang tawag ni Lexien sa anak na umiiyak. " Why are you crying? Is there something wrong?"
Laxus cried even more harder, making Lexien worried. "Baby... Please, tell me. Why are you crying? Are you feeling bad?"
Laxus stopped sniffing, trying to control his tears as he wanted to spoke up to his mother. "M-mom..."
"W-what is it?" Lexien felt something did happen. She felt something uncomfortable.
"D-daddy..." Laxus couldn't control his tears anymore. He was crying again.
"W-what happen to you dad? Did you contact him?"
Instead of answering, Laxus opened his hand and showed Lexien a necklace. A necklace that his father giving to him.
Lexien knew who and what that necklace all about. Narinig niya ang sinabi ni Klane kay Laxus kaya alam niya iyon.
A thought come to her mind. "B-baby..." Tears are now keep on flowing from her eyes. "P-please...d-don't m-make f-fun t-to m-me. Y-you b-broke t-that r-right?"
Laxus cried while shooking his head. "N-no. I-im s-sorry, m-mommy. I-i d-didn't b-broke i-it."
Parang nanghina si Lexien saka napaupo sa sofa na malapit sa kinatatayuan niya.
"Oh god..." Lexien whispered. "This is n-not t-true." Umiling-iling si Lexien. "K-klane i-is n-not d-dead!"
Laxus cried and just hug his mother. "M-mom..."
Parang nanghina ang katawan ni Lexien sa nalaman. She just feel like, her strength weakens that made her lost her unconscious.
"Mom!"
