THE WEDDING DAY

It was almost 7 in the morning , when finally all the couples were back from the gym and were getting ready for the day
RISHITA was feeling really emotional today , it was obvious .... she has to leave her parents , her brother , the three people who mattered the most to her
She was the only daughter after her sister's marriage , being the pampered child , she was always clinging on to her mom , irritating her younger brother , or resting in her father's embrace and going on reminding her family , that she was their only daughter in the whole universe . She had gone through every phase of her life with these three people .
SHWETA AUNTY - RISHU baccha , aisa kya soch ke ro rahi ho ?
Hearing her mother's voice , she quickly ran up to her and hugged her tightly as if her life depended on it
RISHITA - mumma --
She said while hiccupping .............................. after a while she let go of her mother and her brother and father also joined them , they spend some quality time with her daughter and sister before letting her go
TIME SKIP
It was 5 in the evening , all the family member's and the ict member's were having their evening snacks together in the garden of the palace

It was time for the Wedding , as they have to the temple for small puja , RISHITA started to get ready
All this was really new to RISHITA , she never attended a punjabi wedding so she was equally excited and nervous for it
As the beauticians were done with their work , her mother came to meet her in the room

As the mother daughter duo were talking suddenly someone knocked

I was lost in my thoughts smiling when my trance was broken by a bandar jiska naam MANJOT hai , dekh to aise raha thha jaise maine kisi ka murder kar diya ho
ME - aise kya dekh raha hai ?
MANJOT - SHUBMAN bhai , ABHAY pagal ho gaya , ab bhabhi ka kya hoga
SHUBMAN - ae pagal kya bol raha hai tu
MANJOT - aree sach main dekhna kaise baithe baithe smile kar raha thha

ABHISHEK got ready , MANJU AUNTY , RAJKUMAR UNCLE entered the room and saw ABHISHEK all ready standing looking regel
KOMAL DI - papa jeevan main pehli baar chuttak accha lag raha hai
ABHISHEK - hadd hai yaar
SANIA DI - KOMAL pehli baar nahi dusri baar accha lag raha hai
ABHISHEK - dusri baar kaisi di ?

ABHISHEK'S OUTFIT
Soon the baraat and the baraati were all ready to move , the car's were lined up the , the music started playing and now there was literally no stopping , all of the people started dancing , and dude PUNJABI hain iske baad batane ki zaroorat hi nahi hai , ki dance kaise hua hoga
The distance was really less from the hotel to the fort , but it took them almost 3 hours to finally reach the fort , kyunki dance ho raha thha , or MANJOT to full talli thha 😂😂😂😂😂
As they reached all the girls stopped them for the ribbon cutting

PENDENT AND CHAIN
All of them moved inside for the other ritual
Soon they were made to settle on the stage and now it was time for the bridal entry
All the girls including the bhabhi gang , went to fetch RISHITA
They made her wear the long veil and her parents and brother helped her to get down and the music started

There was dry ice everywhere and it looked like she was walking on clouds
And ABHISHEK'S were numb , for him it was all a dream , his girl who supported him when he was almost nothing to him being the captain of ICT , she was there as a fan
RISHITA now started walking on the glass gazebo which was covered with different kind of flowers
She was feeling overwhelmed , the man whom she came to know through wattpad , from opening his fanpage , seeing him in the starbucks for the first time , to being with him in his ups and lows , to becoming his friend , then bestfriend to his girlfriend and now finally being his wife
Finally she reached the stage , and ABHISHEK helped her to go up
He kissed her hand and mumbled an I love you to her to which she replied with a contagious smile " I love you more "
Now it was time for the JAIMALA
All the friends and close family members were on the stage
Now it was time for RISHITA to put the flower garland around his neck
But
SHUBMAN and VIRAT pulled ABHISHEK back and said
SHUBMAN - itni easily nahi bhabhi
VIRAT - bohot pareshan kiya hai choti tune
All of them giggled at his comment and while they were busy teasing , she threw the garland towards ABHISHEK which successfully landed in his neck and the girls hooted
MS DHONI - good shot choti
ROHIT - Haan choti mast shot thha
BUMRAH - Haan choti Ekdum point pe
HARDIK - Haan choti maza aa gaya
RISHITA - thank you bhaiyas
Now it was time for ABHISHEK to put the garland around her neck
As he was about to put , RISHITA was picked up by her brothers

VANSH - Haan akhir hum bhi to maze le

ABHISHEK faced KAMLESH and signaled him and now even ABHISHEK was picked by his friends like RISHITA
And finally after a lot of struggles he was able to put the garland around RISHITA'S neck
After that , all the photos were clicked , with the family member's , with the relatives and other people
Now they moved to the big dining table and were made to sit and eat their dinner along with some snacks
But first , both of them had to feed each other the fist bite of the food , or cameraman ki to baat hi chhod do , matlab , khate same inhe aake samne hi khade ho jana hai
After that RISHITA was made to wear a saree along with the red chunni , that she had worn with the lehenga and even ABHISHEK changed in to a kurta pajama and the first ritual was the gathbandhan
Were the groom's sister ties one end of the bride's chunni to the end of the groom's shawl or cloth { you guys understood right ?}
KOMAL DI did it for them and now the pheras have to take place
PANDIT JI started chanting mantras and said that now the groom and bride have to stand up for the pheras
It is the seven circles that a couple takes around the sacred fire under a . This significant ceremony marks the ultimate union of a bride and groom and proclaims them as husband and wife.
it is not just taking seven rounds around a sacred fire that binds them in the matrimonial bond but also the promises that they make to each other while doing these circumambulations. Each phera comes with a different promise that the bride and groom vow to each other in order to lead a blissful marital life. The priest recites those promises in Sanskrit and asks the couple to repeat after him. He then explains the significance and meaning of all the seven vows while conducting the ceremony.
The bride leads the groom on the first three pheras, while the groom takes over for the fourth and final step
FIRST PHERA
ABHISHEK : "Om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman"
RISHITA : "Dhanam dhanyam pade vadet"
The first round of pheras is all about promising each other nourishment, prosperity, and happiness. The groom promises, "Om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman" which means that he would provide her happiness and food, and take care of her nourishment. The bride complies by enchanting "Dhanam dhanyam pade vadet." She promises to look after him and his family and pledges to share responsibilities by helping him look after the home, food, and finances.
SECOND PHERA
ABHISHEK : "Om oorje jara dastayaha"
RISHITA : Kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam"
In the second phera, the couple prays to God for physical and mental strength to lead a blissful life. The groom recites "Om oorje jara dastayaha" to seek strength from the god so that they can protect their house and children'. The bride reciprocates by saying "Kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam" which means that she will be by his side as his courage and strength at every step in life, and encourage him in all his ventures. In return, she asks the groom to love her solely.
THIRD PHERA
ABHISHEK: "Om Rayas Santu Joraa Dastayaha"
RISHITA : "Tava Bhakti as Vadedvachacha"
In the third phera, the couple prays to God for wealth and the bride promises that she would be loyal in this matrimonial union. The groom vows, "Om Rayas Santu Joraa Dastayaha," which means, "I will work hard to become wealthy, provide good education to our children and prays that may our children live long." On the other hand, the bride promises to her husband that she will love him devotedly and all other men will be secondary to her. She enchants, "Tava Bhakti as Vadedvachacha."
FOURTH PHERA
ABHISHEK : "Om Mayo Bhavyas Jaradastaya ha"
RISHITA : "Lalayami Cha Pade Vadet"
In the fourth phera, the couple vows to shower each other with immense happiness and respect. The groom thanks his wife by saying, "Om Mayo Bhavyas Jaradastaya ha" which means that he is thankful to his bride for making his life sacred and beautiful. He further prays that may they be blessed with obedient children. In return, the bride promises the groom that she will shower him with joy and happiness from head to toe. She recites, "Lalayami Cha Pade Vadet."
FIFTH PHERA
ABHISHEK : "Om Prajabhayaha Santu Jaradastayaha"
RISHITA : "Arte Arba Sapade Vadet"
The fifth phera is taken to beget obedient & noble children, and to pray for the couple together prays for the welfare of all living entities in the universe. They also make individual promises to each other to lead a loveful life. The groom recites, "Om Prajabhayaha Santu Jaradastayaha" and declares his wife as his best friend and his dearest well-wisher. He expresses gratitude for her enriching presence in his life and hence seeks blessings for her from the god. On the other hand, the bride promises to trust and love him until her last breath. She also pronounces that his happiness will be her happiness. The fifth phera the bride takes is, "Arte Arba Sapade Vadet."
SIXTH PHERA
ABHISHEK : "Rutubhyah shat padi bhava"
RISHITA : "Yajna Hom Shashthe Vacho Vadet"
In the sixth phera, the groom asks, "Rutubhyah shat padi bhava," that translates to "You have filled my heart with immense happiness by taking these six steps with me. Will you fill my heart with happiness by walking with me like this forever?" To this, the bride replies, "Yajna Hom Shashthe Vacho Vadet," which means "I will stand by you forever and always keep you happy."
SEVENTH PHERA
ABHISHEK : "Om Sakhi Jaradastayahga"
RISHITA : "Attramshe Sakshino Vadet Pade"
In the seventh and the last step together, the couple seals the bond and promise to be faithful companions. The groom declares each other as man and wife by reciting, "Om Sakhi Jaradastayahga." He also promises to his wife "I am yours and you are mine for eternity." The bride accepts this proclamation and says, "Attramshe Sakshino Vadet Pade". This means, "As God is the witness, I am your wife now. We will love, honor and cherish each other forever."
Now ABHISHEK has to put SINDUR in RISHITA'S hair partition and make her wear the mangalsutra
Sindoor, a red-orange powder, is applied to the part of a woman's hair, symbolizing her new status as a married woman
ABHISHEK was given a coin , with the help of the coin he picked up the sindoor and filled RISHITA'S hair partition with it and while doing this , a pich of sindoor was dropped on her nose
After this he kissed RISHITA 'S forehead while mumbling a small mine , to which RISHITA smiled whole heartedly and replied all your's
Now time for the MANGALSUTRA CEREMONY
Mangalsutra is not just a piece of jewelry that groom ties around the bride's neck, it's an emotion associated with the heart. Mangalsutra is derived from a Sanskrit word 'Mangal' + 'Sutram'. Mangal means prosperous, & auspicious which brings good fortune and sutra means thread, together mangalsutra means a sacred thread
He tied the mangalsutra around her neck and both of them coincidently said I love you to each other at the same time
After this a few more ritual were going on but humari gang to juta churai ki taiyari kar rahi thhi
Saari girls ek taraf or boys ek taraf
Somehow SANJANA and NATASHA bhabhi got to know ki juta kahan hai , or usko lene ke liye humari RITIKA bhabhi or SIDDHI gayi
Boys were chilling in the bar , because they thought ki unhone already jute chhuppa diye hain , but but they were unknown to the fact , ki ladies were already on their way to get them
Soon the ladies were back with the juta
MANJOT just casually went into the room , where the shoes were kept but boy !! , it was not there now
He ran to the bar , and informed all the boys that now the shoes are not there

The boys squad were on there mission to find the shoes , meanwhile the girls were already with their plan
PURVA'S lehenga had huge pocket's stitched in the under skirt , the girls helped her by holding the lehenga , and by the time she quickly put the juta's in her pocket and then she stoop up and fixed her lehenga and because of the flare it wasn't even noticeable
And the girl squad were at ease
But the boys were restless

All of them left in the different directions
And now it was time for the KANYADAAN CEREMONY
One of the most emotional moments in a women's life and that of her parents is the ritual of kanyadaan in a wedding ceremony
The ritual of kanydaan is also meant to be the consent of the bride's parents on accepting the groom as their son-in-law. As per other explanations, it also means to request the groom to accept their daughter as a wife.
During the ritual, the father of the bride takes her right hand and places it in the groom's right hand.
After that, the mother of the bride pours sacred water on the palm of the father (of the bride), which flows through the daughter's and the groom's hand eventually. Mantras are chanted by the throughout the procedure.
PANDIT JI - vivah sampann hua , aajse aap dono pati patni hue , jaaek badon ka aashirvaad le lijiye
ABHISHEK stood up first and then helped RISHITA to stand up , first they touched the feet of PANDIT ji then their parents and their sister
Now as they have to go to the other side , ABHISHEK couldn't find his shoes
ABHISHEK - jute kahan gaye , utare to yahin thhe

ABHISHEK - jute nahi mil rahe
SANJANA DI - oh accha koi baat nahi hum help kar dete hain

ABHISHEK - oho to shagun chahiye
ALL OF THEM - bilkul sahi jiju
SHUBMAN - aree aise kaise

And here we go the forever going on battle between the ladke wale and ladki wale
ABHISHEK - Accha Accha bas , chalo meri pyari saali saheba bataiye kya chahiye ?
ALL OF THEM TOGETHER - 50 thousand to each one of us
SHUBMAN - bhai tujhe loot rahi hain sab
KAMLESH - bhai itne main bank account khali
PRITHWI - Accha hua meri shaadi abhi nahi hai
SHREYAS - ye sab iss MANJOT ke chakkar main ho raha hai
ABHISHEK - Accha thik hai de raha hoon but abhi mere pass itna cash nahi hai
SANJANA - it's okay jiju dheere dheere pay kardena
PURVA - haan abhi jitna hai utna dedo
ABHISHEK took out some cash out of his pocket and distributed it among the girls
AMAYRA - PURVA di , jute dedo
PURVA - Haan de rahi
She sat on of the chairs and girls surrounded her
After giving the shoes away
RISHITA again changed into her wedding lehenga
As they were in UDAIPUR for now , the VIDAI will take place afterwards
For now they both were dismissed to their room as they have to board their jet in the night
