rudy schnappte sich das handy seiner freundin vom nachttisch und gab das einzige passwort ein, an das sie sich erinnern würde, ihren geburtstag.
Rudy schaut verwirrt auf das Telefon. Er wusste ungefähr, wer Jacob war, von dem, was drew und Noah ihm erzählt hatte, irgendein Ex-Freund von ihr.
„What Baby?" flüsterte er zu sich selbst.
„What did he want?" Fragte Charlie während sie ihre Haare abtrocknete.
„what baby is he on about, Charlie." Fragte Rudy während er ihr direkt in die Augen schaute.
Das grinsen auf Charlie's Gesicht verschwand und wurde durch einer ernsten Miene ersetzt. „W-what?"

Sie saß sich auf das Bett, ihre Augen begannen zu tränen „there was a baby. there isn't anymore"

Rudy kauerte vor ihr und legte seine Hand auf ihr Knie. „you can tell me, chichi."
Sie weinte an diesem Punkt „i was pregnant. i-i
didn't know."
"what happened?"
„it was when we weren't talking. i was getting
drunk and high all the time. i killed our baby. I am sorry." schluchzte Charlie.
Rudy's Herz zerbrach, als sie sie weinen sah „why
didn't you tell me, Charlie? you were going through
this alone."
„we weren't talking at the time." she mumbled „jacob obviously found out and i told drew and Noah."
Seine Hände fielen von ihrem Knie "you have to be
joking."
„rudy, don't do this now." seufzte Charlie und fuhr sich mit der Hand durchs Haar.
„no, Charlie. it's always them before me! It's always him. you told him about our fucking baby, before you even told me!" Schreite er, „i need some space."
Charlie schüttelte ihren Kopf "no, rudy. please don't leave, rudy!" Er verlies das Zimmer und knallte die Tür hinter ihm zu.

„this is because i told Noah isn't it?" Sagte sie und ihre Stimme began sich zu heben„how many times, rudy? there is nothing happening with me and Noah!"

are me!" Schreite Rudy „don't even say you don't see it."
Sie hatte es satt, wegen derselben Sache zu streiten, also gab sie auf. "just leave."
rudy nickte, "i thinks it's for the best.
Charlie erwiderte nichts, sah nur zu, wie er Drew's Hotelzimmer verließ, in dem sie mit Drew nun schlief, das Zimmer der andern cast-Mitglieder waren alle quasi neben einander.
Er schloss die Tür hinter sich und Charlie fiel weinend zu Boden.
Sie war alleine.
