Sparkle aka Spark
We were going swimming today for Spring's birthday.
She invited her friends and i invited the crew.
It was like 88 degrees outside, so i was excited to get in the pool.
"Happy Birthday Springy" i gave her a big hug.
"Thanks Spark" she smiled.
"Just cause you 14 now don't mean you grown" i said and she rolled her eyes
"I know, I know."
"Ight let's go, you gave yo friends the addy right?" i asked and she nodded.
I was not finna play carpool, so i told her to tell them to meet her there.
I texted the group chat and told them i was on the way.
"I'll give you your gifts after we leave the pool"
"Okay what you get me" she asked sounding nosy as hell
"You'll see little girl" i rolled my eyes.
we pulled up to the pool 30 minutes later, it was far from where we live.
They had a big pool, a lazy river, and two big slides.
I payed for us to get in and saw that Mira and Jay were already inside.
we walked over to them and set our stuff down
"Happy Birthday Spring" mira said
"Thank you"
"Here Spring put on sunscreen" i said giving her the bottle and putting some on myself.
She quickly put some on and went to get her friends who had just arrived.
I wanted to lay in the sun for a while before i got in the pool
"So i heard you and Kori been hanging out" Aamira turned to me
"Yeah, that's the homie" i laughed
"Mhm"
I was enjoying the heat on my body when i felt a presence over me.
I opened my eyes and saw Kori standing above me
"Nigga you blocking my sun" i said and he laughed.
"You look good" he said making me cheese
"Thank youuu" i dragged
I decided i wanted to go get in the pool now, so i slid off my slides and took off my swimsuit cover.
"Y'all coming?" i asked them and went to go get in
"This water cold as hell" Ty complained
"On god" i heard Aamira say
"Pick me up" i swam over to where Kori was.
"Yo ass heavy as hell" he laughed
"Lying ass, water make you light" i rolled my eyes.
I was chillin until he decided to dip me under water
"Nigga you lucky i used my super lace glue to glue this shit down this morning" i said wiping my face.
"Spark let's go on the slide" Mira said to me and i agreed
We walked over to the the slide and saw Spring in line with her friends as well
"Im kinda scared" Spring said to me
"Don't be, you'll be fine"
After what felt like forever it was finally our turn.
We sat down and held hands and waited for the count down
"3..2..1!"
we slid down and all i heard was Mira screaming.
"That was fun" i said to her as we were getting out the water.
I wanted to sit in the sun some more so i went over to the chairs to sit down.
"Man im hungry" Kori said coming to sit next to me.
"Here" i gave him the bowl of fruit salad i brought.
it had grapes, strawberries, pineapples, apples, and mandarin oranges.
"This shit look good" he said grabbing a pineapple.
"oh my gosh y'all Tylann ass just drowned in the lazy river." Mira said laughing with Ty following behind her
"That shit was not funny a nigga almost died" he said shaking his head.
I went in the lazy river and went down the slides with Spring a few times before it was time to go.
"Bye guys i'll see y'all later" i said to everyone and then got in my car.
"I can't wait to see my gifts" Spring said as we pulled out the lot
"I can't wait for them to get out my closet" i laughed
we pulled up to my house about 30 minutes later and she immediately got out and ran to the door
"Ion know why you did all that running when i got the keys" i laughed.
When we got in i set our stuff down and went to my closet to bring out her things.
I wrapped them last night just to be extra.
She first opened her Jordan's.
"You really got them" she smiled
She opened her clothes and her bath and body works next.
"Thanks Spark, now i don't gotta use yours" she said and we laughed
"You're welcome, check your phone" i said
she grabbed her phone and it looked like her jaw dropped to the ground
"300 dollars?? Thank youuu" she dragged and gave me a hug
"You're welcome"
"Okay im finna go take a shower, then we can order food and watch a movie" i said
"Okay me too"
I went into my room and showered for about 15 minutes before getting out and putting on lotion and deodorant
I put on some sweatpants and a shirt, along with some fuzzy socks.
I wrapped my hair up and went into the living room to order the food she wanted.
I scrolled through tiktok while waiting for her to come out.
"Did you order the food?" Spring said coming to sit by me
"Yes ma'am"
"Okay let's wait to start the movie until it gets here" she said and i agreed.
I scrolled through all my socials for about 30 minutes before the food got here.
We started the movie then just enjoyed each other's company for the rest of the night.
"Thanks for making it the best birthday ever"
"Anything for you" i said
