At this moment a soul was drifting within a space filled with aurora light.
"Where am I?... Didn't I get into a car accident and..." Thought the half conscious soul.
It was then that a bright blinding white light began to shine above the drifting soul.
"So bright... " Thought the soul.
The white light then spoke: "Oh? A lost soul entering my world? How curious."
Shiiing!
Suddenly a silver tin box appeared beside the lost soul... from it the white light sensed a great power.
Seeing this the white light spoke once again: "Such great power accompanies this soul. Hmm... perhaps this small sliver remaining of myself can still create one more miracle. What's more... this may be my last chance to leave behind my final gift to the beings of my world."
It was then that a hand suddenly extended out of the white light and touched the tin box.
At that moment the silver tin box had completely transformed.
It turned into a visor with a blue lens.
"Now for my final gift." Said the white light as it raised it's hand and drew a cross made of golden light in midair with it's finger.
Shiing!
The cross made of golden light then quickly entered into the visor. After this the visor suddenly turned into blue light and merged with the drifting soul.
Seeing this the white light sighed and said: "Hopefully there won't be any need for my final gift to be used."
"Now go young soul... go towards your new life." Said the white light as it waved it's hand and sent the soul away.
"W-What just happened? What's going on?!" Thought the soul as it was sent away.
Seeing that the soul was gone, the white light sighed once again and said: "Finally... With this I can now truly rest."
After saying these words, the white light completely vanished from this aurora filled space.
......
When the soul opened his eyes he was shocked. He found himself in the arms of a beautiful platinum haired woman.
After a few moments he began to understand his current situation.
"I'm a baby?... Was I reborn?!" He thought.
The beautiful platinum haired woman then lowered her head and gently kissed the infant's forehead then said: "My beautiful baby. My little Riku."
"Is that my new name?... Then I guess this person is my new Mother?" Thought the baby now named Riku.
The platinum haired woman then smiled at Riku in her arms and said: "Now then my little one how about I tell you a story."
Riku's mother thought for a moment, giggled and said: "Well how about I tell you the story of this world's supernatural side?"
"Since he won't remember any of this anyway once he grows up, it should be fine." Thought Riku's mother.
"Super....natural?" Thought the infant named Riku.

At this moment the infant Riku could be seen lying quietly within his crib.
Right now he might seem like a calm little baby, but deep down he was actually completely shocked.
"Am I really... in an alternate version of the highschool dxd world?!" Thought Riku.
Through her story earlier, Riku's new mother talked about many things.
The four great satans, the seraphs of heaven, the fallen angels of grigori, the existence of many pantheons, the five dragon kings, the two heavenly dragons, the death of god and even the existence of sacred gears.
However besides this she also talked about things that did not belong in the original Highschool DxD story such as the dark knight Sparda, Dragon Slayer Wizards, Sacred Beasts with several tails and even extraterrestrial yokais known as the Namekians.
"If my new mother's words are true and this really is an alternate version of an anime world then.... what kind of life am I gonna have?!! Come to think of it how does she even know about the supernatural?!" Thought Riku.
In fact what truely worried Riku was his mother's words to him right after she finished her story.
"You wanna know something my little bundle of joy? You actually possess five supernatural bloodlines within your body. Now aren't you special."
Remembering this, the infant Riku couldn't help but start staring at his hands. Then he turned to the mirror by the side of his crib.
After a moment he thought: "No horns, no wings, nothing really out of the ordinary... I can't see anything that could differentiate me from a normal human baby."
"Maybe my Mom was just kidding?" He thought.
At that moment Riku's mother entered the room and made her way towards her child's crib while saying: "Well now did my little guy miss me?"
She then picked up Riku from his crib and stared at her baby with a smile on her face.
Staring at his new mother's gentle and loving smile, Riku thought: "Whatever... in fact I should just be thankful that I'm even still alive. I'll make the most out of this new life of mine so that this time... I'd have no regrets."

15 Years Later....
At this moment a handsome young boy in his teens could be seen placing a bouquet of beautiful purple flowers in front of a gravestone.
The boy had black hair, purple eyes and a somewhat slim build. This boy was naturally none other than Riku who had been reborn 15 years earlier.
Riku smiled at the gravestone and said: "Hey Mom... I brought your favorite flowers.... yeah I know I haven't been around lately.... I was kinda busy with graduation you see, so yeah sorry I couldn't visit you soon."
After taking a deep breath he continued his words: "Anyway I've graduated from middle school now and I'll be starting Highschool in about two months. The graduation ceremony was a blast."
Riku's eyes then became somewhat sad as he said: "I wish you could've been there."
After about half an hour, Riku left the cemetery and began making his way home.
It's been 15 years since Riku had been reborn in this world and during this time he had pretty much lived a normal ordinary life.
In fact the only major incident that has occurred in this new life of his was his mother's death when he was 5 years old.
From what Riku knew it seemed to be due to an illness she had from the time before he was even born.
As for his father in this new life of his, Riku had never met him. Riku's mother stated that he had already passed away a few months before he was born.
After Riku's mother died, Riku had no other relatives as such he ended up being adopted by the family of his mother's closest friends.... the Seijo Family.
Due to this he was now named Riku Seijo.
As Riku was walking home, he passed by Kuoh Park and there he saw a brown haired boy pervetedly staring at the girls jogging by with a bit of drool by the side of his mouth.
Seeing this Riku couldn't help but show a forced smile as he muttered: "I should've known Issei would already be here so early in the morning."
When Riku was ten years old he and the Seijo family moved to Kuoh Town and here Riku found out that his adoptive family were actually good friends with the Hyoudou family.
The moment Riku met Issei Hyoudou was the moment he managed to confirm that he was indeed in the Highschool DxD world.
To Riku although he and Issei weren't particularly close, he still considered him a childhood playmate.
Riku then approached the future Red Dragon Emperor and greeted: "Morning Issei."
Issei then turned to Riku and said: "Oh Riku! You here to watch some oppai with me?"
Riku(cold sweat): "Er.... no not really. Anyway how've you been lately Issei?"
Issei: "Well I just finished my highschool freshman year and I gotta say it was quite a let down."
"THERE JUST WASN'T ENOUGH OPPAI TO SATISFY MY HEART!" Exclaimed Issei with passion and tears.
"Er... uh.. I see... but could you tone your voice down a bit... people are staring." Said Riku as he noticed the people around the park staring at them.
Issei who wasn't listening to Riku's words at all then said with a determined face: "But this year it'll be different!.. This year I'm attending the academy that just recently turned into a co-ed school."
Riku: "Kuoh Academy right?"
Issei: "That's right!... At a former all-girls school like that, I'm sure I'll be able to get one!"
Riku: "Get one?"
"A girlfriend!" Said Issei with stars in his eyes.
Hearing his words, Riku couldn't help but give a slight smile... he knew from the original anime's plot, that the perverted boy would indeed get what he desired... just... not in the way he could've ever imagined he would.
"Heh... yeah I'm sure you'll definitely get one Issei." Said Riku with a smile.
"You really think so Riku?!" Asked Issei with an excited face.
Riku nodded: "Yup."
Issei then placed his hands on Riku's shoulders and said: "Thanks man I really appreciate your encouragement. Oh I know why don't you start going to Kuoh too? My friends Motohama and Matsuda had decided to go there as well, with you the four of us can be known as the Oppai Quartet! What do you say?"
Riku(cold sweat): "Er... sorry Issei I've already decided to go to Sora High."
In truth Riku just didn't wish to go to Kuoh Academy at all for he did not want to risk getting involved with the supernatural.
"It's bad enough that my family lives in Kuoh Town, there's no way I'd choose to go to the school where highschool dxd's main plot transpires." Thought Riku.
Issei: "Aww that's too bad. We could've been quite the team and I would've shared my precious mags with you."

After talking with Issei for another few minutes, Riku left the park and continued walking home.
When Riku entered his house, he was suddenly greeted by a beautiful girl with magenta colored hair.
"Morning little bro!" Said the girl.
"Akari-nee you're home?!" Said Riku in a surprised tone.
This girl is the daughter of Riku's adoptive parents.... her name is Akari Seijo. She's a 19 year old girl that's enrolled in a police academy at a nearby town.
She is currently staying at the police academy dorms which is why Riku was surprised to see her home.
"Why do you sound so surprised didn't you miss your big sis?" Said Akari as she playfully put Riku in a headlock.
"Gah!.. Stop it Akari-nee I'm too old for these kinds of things!" Said Riku as he tries to get out of his sister's playful headlock.
After the siblings played around for a bit, Riku asked: "So why are you suddenly home today Akari-nee did something happen at the academy?"
Akari: "Nah they just gave us a one day break. I'll be going back to the academy tomorrow afternoon."
At that moment a female voice sounded from the kitchen: "Akari is Riku home yet?"
"Yeah I'm home Mom."Replied Riku.
It was then that a woman with short magenta colored hair suddenly walked out of the kitchen.
This woman is Riku's adoptive mother.... her name is Nami Seijo.
Nami then said with a smile: "I see so you're back from visiting Hina, well then would you two like to have some freshly baked cupcakes? I just made a new batch."
Riku: "Sounds great Mom."
Akari: "Well... I can't say I haven't missed Mom's cupcakes."
As the two walked towards the kitchen, Riku asked: "Did Dad leave for work already?"
Akari: "Yeah he's definitely gonna regret missing Mom's cupcakes."
Riku chuckled: "Yeah he definitely would."
......
Later That Evening.....
After spending most of his day with his sister that he rarely got to see, Riku decided to take an evening walk towards the nearby convenience store.
Riku sighed: "Akari-nee is such a glutton. To think she'd be able to finish all of that food so quick!"
He then took out a grocery list from his pocket and began to check if his budget was enough.
Riku: "Mom needs me to buy eggs, juice....."
He then smiled and said: "Well looks like I'll have enough left to buy a bit of ice cream."
When Riku was only two blocks away from the store, he walked by an alley and there he suddenly noticed something as he turned his head towards the alley.
munch...munch...munch...
Within the alley was a monster!.... In terms of appearance it looked somewhat similar to a human however it had black skin, beast like claws, a pair of grey horns and finally two pairs of bat like wings.
What was most disgusting about the scene that Riku was seeing was the fact that this beast was currently devouring the corpse of a dog.
"Guh!" At that moment Riku placed his hand over his mouth as he tried to resist the urge to vomit.
"What the heck is that thing?!" Thought Riku as he was paralyzed with both fear and disgust.
It was then that the monster suddenly noticed Riku and turned towards him with it's crazed eyes then said: "Ohhh... Well looks like my main course has arrived."
"Shit!" Exclaimed Riku as it dawned on him that he had just encountered something very dangerous.
He then quickly turned around and ran away as fast as he could.
"I can't run home! If I do and that thing follows me, then my family would be in danger." Thought Riku as he continued to run with everything he had.
At that moment he made a split second decision to run towards the direction of Kuoh Academy as he thought: "Maybe just maybe.... one of the characters from the main cast is patrolling nearby!"
From what he remembered of the original highschool dxd story, the peerages of Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri are the ones responsible for making sure that supernatural beings don't cause trouble in Kuoh Town, as such he was hoping that someone from these two peerages would be within the area.
However.... things were not meant to go as he planned.
"Now where do you think you're going my little dinner?" Asked the black skinned monster as it appeared in front of Riku in a black blur.
"Guh!" Sounded Riku in suprise as he forced himself to stop running upon the sight of the black skinned monster in front of him.
"Y-You are...." Said Riku as took a step back out of fear.
The monster then said: "I'm curious... normally humans can't see me while I'm using my camouflage spell, so how was it that you were able to?... or could it be that you're not human either?"
The reincarnated boy didn't care about what the monster was saying, instead he simply took out a sharp pen from his pocket and threw it towards the black skinned monster's face then he quickly ran towards a different street.
Easily catching the sharp pen before it hit his face, the monster sneered and muttered: "Well it seems tonight's dinner isn't a well behaved one."
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Thought Riku as he continued to run. At the back of his mind Riku pretty much already realized that there was no running from the monster that seemed to be planning on making him it's dinner. And that it was merely toying with him.
After all as someone who had watched and read Highschool DxD in his previous life, he was naturally familiar with how powerful the supernatural beings of this world were.
"There has to be some way.... some way I can get away from that monster!... I... I don't wanna die again." Thought the reincarnated boy.
Suddenly....
Puchi!!!...
A black beast like claw had pierced through Riku's chest from behind him.
"Kah!" Riku spat out some blood as the monster behind him sneered saying: "Now now little dinner, there's no need to panic I promise I'll make it quick."
Squelch!
The moment the monster pulled out his hand, Riku's body immediately fell backwards to the ground.
"I'm... gonna die again." Thought Riku as he was falling backwards. At that moment images of his new family and friends from this new life of his began appearing in his mind.
"I... DON'T WANT THIS!!!" He mentally screamed.
Shiing! Shatter!
At that moment a black pendant around Riku's neck that was left to him by his birth Mother suddenly shattered.
Riku could still remember his birth mother's words when she gave this pendant to him just before she died.
"Remember to always keep this with you at all times. Who knows it might even protect you someday."
Thud!
The moment Riku hit the ground, the pieces of the black pendant suddenly rushed towards the black skinned monster at great speeds.
"What the?!" Shouted the monster upon being startled at the sight of the black pendant pieces rushing towards him.
Puchi!..Puchi!..Puchi!..Puchi!..Puchi!..Puchi!..
The black pendant pieces then landed about a dozen cuts on the monster.
"GAAAH!!! What is this?!!" Shouted the monster as the cuts on his body suddenly ignited into purple flames.
"GAAAAA!!! NOOOO!!!" Within but only a few moments, the black skinned monster's entire body was covered with purple flames and instantly turned to ash.
Riku who had witnessed what just occurred thought: "Well what do you know... maybe if I had known about what the pendant could do earlier... I might've survived... but now... it's too late."
Indeed! With the injury on his chest, Riku was well aware that he was mere moments away from death.
"And here I thought.... my new life.... was only.... getting.... started...." Thought Riku as he was about to lose consciousness.
Suddenly....
Shiing!
A red colored queen chess piece suddenly appeared floating above the dying Riku.
Seeing the floating queen piece, Riku couldn't help but think: "You've gotta be kidding me!"
The moment he lost consciousness, he suddenly heard a female voice.
"Sparkle and Shine Miracle☆ Levia-tan has arrived!"
And then Riku died once again.
