Life and Death. It's easy right
If you're in a life and death situation, you do whatever you can to get yourself out alive and with the least amount of harm done to you
It means you need to effectively get out of the harmful threat to stay alive and not hurt. And you want to stay alive
You want to stay alive because life is a one time thing and something you never get again. Life is full of so much adventure and excitement that you pray to die old and not young.
Sometimes it's not a choice though
Because what if you added in a few new unchangeable variables
What if you're not the only one in the situation and you have to save another person. What if this person is your only light, and they can't fend for themselves
What if, there was a way to have a second shot at life, even if it meant breaking the law and rules of nature
Would you save yourself first, or someone who can't fight for themselves and is your pride and joy?

After everything that happened Zeara was still trying to process everything. But she couldn't
It was all unbelievable and upsetting. The one time she slowly opened up to someone without jumping into something right away, they get ripped away from her
Not only was Klaus ripped away right in front of her but by people she tried and wanted so badly to call friends
And one of them wasn't even her friend. One of them was her first ever real love. He broke her heart and cheated on her, yet she was in the wrong
As she laid in bed upset and thinking of Klaus she didn't even realize that she was currently in the hospital and it was night, but the next day
Last night as she was drinking water she remembered feeling weird and passing out. She didn't know that Stefan had found her, but when he did he immediately called Meredith
She's a nurse who knows about vampires and supernatural. When she got the call she immediately went and looked at Zeara. Meredith had to take her to the hospital for observation because it turns out she had a concussion
It was no doubt from a brutal force to the head, which was probably when Alaric slammed her head on the lockers
To do a quick fix Meredith wrote something else in her chart & file ,and gave Zeara vampire blood. Specifically Klaus' vampire blood, and the only way she was able to is because she had gotten a sample of Klaus' Damon's and Stefan's blood
But the nurse didn't tell Zeara that. She said that she had a concussion, and that they gave her medicine so she should take it easy
She didn't tell the witch because she knew there was a lot going in the witches life, but she didn't know it was going to come back and hit them both
But it's wasn't going be a little punch, it was going to hit them hard

As Zeara was let out of the hospital Stefan had picked her up and made sure she got home safely
Now Meredith hadn't told Stefan about the vampire blood either, so no one knew
As Zeara got home Stefan had told her that Rebekah had to go because Elijah wanted to talk to her but also because Caroline said they were ready for Xila to come back
When the witch got in her house and got situated she felt completely fine, which was weird but she nor Stefan questioned it
"I know it's only like 8 but I honestly an quite tired so I'm going to bed." Zeara lightly smiled as she talked to Stefan
The Salvatore gave her a soft hug "Ok, uh Damon called me and said that Elijah is at Elena's and I need to go speak so him."
Giving him a look Zeara raised her eyebrow and crossed her arms "You aren't still hung up on Elena are you?"
He playfully scoffed shaking his head "No Im not, but it seems Damon is and if he wants me to protect her I will. He's my brother and I love him so I'll do it. Hey are you gonna be okay over here by yourself."
"Well when you come back I'll still be alive and a witch so I'm think it's ok if you go" The teen laughed joking around and so did Stefan
He left thinking it'd be okay, especially because of Zeara's comment. Neither of them knew how wrong that comment would be.

Laying in her bed Zeara was trying to peaceful rest in her quiet, silent house but was interrupted by a knock on her door
Getting up and opening it, she was met face to face with someone she used to loved and someone who had betrayed her in every way
Looking at this persons face the teen was nervous because last time she opened this door and this person was standing on the porch, they were breaking up with her
But this time he was half smiling with a squirming Xila in his arms. The 8 month old was happy to see her mother so she was squirming away from Tyler to be in Zeara's arms
Confused the witch laughed happily and shocked as it wasn't her day. She lifted her child out of Tyler's arms and into hers
Xila seemed much happier and very excited to be with her mother now. Zeara bounced her baby and spoke to her in a baby voice
"Oh my goodness little one! What are you doing here my sweet girl, I'm so happy to see you!"
When she was done soaking up love with her daughter, she looked up at Tyler and immediately her demeanor changed. Her face dropped and her voice became monotone but still soft
The teen became nervous and her eyes scanned everywhere except the face of Tyler
"Tyler, is there any reason why you are here?"

When you have a kid you do everything for them. You'll do anything to keep them alive, healthy and happy
But when you can't do that you feel like a disappointment, guilty, angry at yourself, and worst of all
Like you shouldn't be a parent and like it should've been you, not your kid
Because once you find out your pregnant, you feel so anxious because it's like everything is out to get your child and make sure you don't have that child
But If you have a smooth pregnancy with no complications, there's always that thought in the back of your head like something is going to happen to your child. Even though they were ok during pregnancy you just feel like if nothing went wrong, something is going to happen sometime
And it's not wrong or out of the blue to feel like that, especially if bad things happened to you as a child. Or maybe nothing went wrong, maybe nothing ever went right and that's why you feel something traumatic is going to occur in your child's life
But when you feel like that, it's normally for a reason. Women are the ones who carry, grow, and birth children, which is why women and mothers can detect if something is wrong with their kid
And Zeara had that feeling. She had a feeling right when Tyler showed up, and especially when he asked her to go to the woods in a peaceful quite spot to talk
But he truly didn't have any bad intentions, and really did just wanted to talk in a peaceful spot, because he had no idea what was to come. Neither did Zeara, but she should've
She should've listened to that gut feeling and mother instinct

Holding Xila on her hip, Zeara trailed behind Tyler in the woods
It was very quiet and they sat on a picnic table by a little peaceful pond. Xila was sleeping so the witch had to carry her, seeing as she didn't want to leave the 8 month old in a car at night
"Tyler can we please make this fast, I don't really want to be out here."
The teen sighed as she sat next Tyler facing the little pond. Tyler just looked at her and took a big sigh before speaking
" I'm leaving town Z. Alaric is getting the town together and trying to get vampires killed so Caroline and I have to leave town. Look Z I'm sorry for everything I put you through and I'm calling off the trial. You'll have to meet with the judge and your lawyer in two weeks, but you'll have custody of Xila now."
With a blank face Zeara faced the man she used to love and shook her head "First off you don't get to call me "Z" ok. You lost that right a long time but you already know that. I mean I appreciate you giving back custody of my own child but you shouldn't have had too."
Her voice was stern but quite enough so she didn't upset the baby in her arms. Taking in Zeara's words, Tyler looked down in shame about his actions
"I know and I'm sorry. I didn't mean for all this to happen."
The witch rolled her eyes annoyed and not believing anything he said. "Yeah you just meant to cheat on me and make sure I never found out." The hybrid huffed and shook his head "No that's not what I mean. Ok I'm sorry."
"That doesn't fix it! Ok that doesn't fix anything Tyler. The pain you caused broke me, it was so hard for to be bounce back and be my happy little self again."
She raised her voice and tears started to build in her eyes. As she spoke away from him he looked away from her and felt so guilty. When the girl started talking again she was fully crying and in tears
Her voice was quivering and tears fell fast as she spoke softly facing Tyler "I didn't deserve any of that Tyler. I loved you so much and I showed it. I never gave you any reason to cheat on me, yet some how you found one and cheated. There was no need for all this, because then when you got with Caroline the jealousy and pettiness was through the roof. I don't know what changed and why, but all was so uncalled for. Another thing is you moved Caroline in my house and just thought that was ok? If you were bored, with me you could've easily just told me and none of with would be happening."
She felt pretty satisfied and wiped her tears, but there was one thing she had to say
"You moved on, so you need to let me move on too. I get it Klaus hasn't been the nicest person to us, but you're no better. I have feelings for him and you have to accept that. I accept that you will love Caroline and I can't change that so I let it just happen. Tyler you can't the way I feel so just let it happen"
When she went silent she looked down and saw Xila sleeping in her arms. The teen took a breath and glanced at her kids father in front of her "We should probably go back now. She's sleeping and I don't want her to get cold."
The hybrid agreed and they walked back to his car. Driving out of the woods they began to pull on the wickery bridge
Tyler quietly apologized again to Zeara but still looked at the road
Even though he was a hundred percent focused on the road he didn't see the truck flying at his car. The car flew off the bridge and into the water
Trying to calm Zeara tried unbuckling her seatbelt, but because of the forward impact it was stuck. Realizing her and Tyler weren't the only ones in the car she began panicking trying to get her to her daughter
Water was rushing in the car super water and in a few seconds went over her head and she couldn't breathe. She could hold her breath but only for a little bit, Xila couldn't
Both parents were trapped and couldn't get out of their seats. They couldn't save their daughter, their little child that had so much ahead of her
But maybe someone else could. As Zeara was slipping away and feeling lightheaded she saw a figure pull her daughter out of the car
And that was the last things she saw and she closed her eyes and slipped into darkness

I decided to break the finale up, just because this was veryyyyyyy rushed and so when the juicy parts happen I want it to be thoroughly written
