It was morning so it was chill and quiet. Zeara had her daughter today so she was currently feeding her happy and silently
Until Rebekah and Klaus stormed in startling the 8 month old and making her cry. Zeara sighed and grabbed the baby holding and soothing her
"Oh well good morning then. Why thank you so much for knocking and scaring my daughter. So thoughtful aren't you". She scrunched her eyes row and spoke very sarcastically
Sighing Klaus apologized and Rebekah stomped her foot and huffed "Well I'm sorry but baby is just going to have to calm for a moment. Ok Alaric Saltzman just tried to kill me and he's supposed to be dead but he's not!"
Rolling his eyes Klaus shushed his sister "Bekah you're scaring the child. Zeara our mothers spell has him too powerful and the white oak stake won't kill him. luckily the fool doesn't have a daylight ring but once the sun goes down he'll come after us."
The witch held and fed her daughter "And you are here because......"
Klaus sighed "We are leaving this town and I need to you and your daughter to come with us. Love let me finish then ask because I already see you preparing questions."
He smirked as he watched the mom laugh quietly and stopping herself from saying anything
"Look love, you're a velesco witch and the only witch who could even attempt at possibly killing this ratty man."
Continuing for her brother Rebekah carried on the conversation "Alaric knows this and is going to try and kill you. So you either stop him right now or leave with us while we can protect you two."
Zeara didn't know what to say or do. She couldn't just leave but she couldn't just, die. So she told Klaus to finish feeding Xila so she could change and think
As the teen was in her room picking out what to wear Rebekah strolled in. "Our room still looks nice. Mumsy I'm sorry I haven't been able to hang out and about but please leave with us and we can make up for lost time."
"I-" she sighed and covered her face with her hands stressed "I don't know." The two looked at each other is silence until the blonde nodded and gave her time. That was when her phone rang and it was Alaric
"Listen closely Zeara. I'm at the school and I have Caroline and Elena. That's not my leverage though. Listen I have a way for you to get your daughter back so if you want to keep Caroline and Elena alive and get Xila back, you come to the school and don't tell anyone. You do, guess I'll just have to kill you."
She hung up and closed her eyes upset "Dammit! No no no."
Zeara had to go immediately so she got dressed and went out to the two Mikaelsons
She spoke calmly but kind of frantically "Uh you know what I'll go but I need to get some things for Xila, so if you could watch her while I go, that'd be great."
Leaving out the door faster than you could blink she drove away to the school

Stepping quietly through the school Zeara inhaled and braced herself as she could hear screams of Caroline through out the hallways
Every possible situation was running through her mind. Her brain began telling what was going to happen if she went in there, but she knew what would really happen if she didn't go in
Trying to walk and breath even quieter she started approaching his classroom
Before she even got to the classroom Alaric sped in front of her and the teen didn't process what was happening because he slammed her head on lockers, hard
It was so hard it knocked her out instantly
When the brunette woke up her head hurt extremely bad and she could hear Caroline crying. As Zeara rubbed her eyes she noticed chains were on her hands that prevented her from using her magic, and a vervain towel was burning into Caroline's mouth
Alaric gave Elena a choice to stake Caroline and snap Zeara neck but she couldn't do it. Alaric scoffed and glared "I thought I taught you better."
The doppelgänger cried out "Why are you doing this !" Shaking his head Alaric scolded Elena "Because you are a 18 year old with no guidance! They are murderers, see Caroline told me she killed someone when she first turned and she liked it. And Zeara killed someone of her own kind for a vampire, For Klaus! Elena you're parents lead the council and it was their life's mission to keep you and this town safe, do you think they would be proud of you?"
Feeling tears Elena fought Alaric with her words "No you don't get to talk about them. You don't know anything about what they wanted."
The brunette doppelgänger was grabbed by the hunter and she tried stabbing him but he stopped her so she grabbed a beaker of vervain and smashed it over his head burning him so she could grab and free Caroline
She didn't even try to help Zeara, she just left
Still woozy about what was even happening Zeara slowly processed that Elena wasn't going to save her so she tried to get up and leave but Alaric grabbed her by the hair and dragged her down to the ground
As Elena took off Alaric knew needed to get her but was hit in the back of the head with a stool
Turning around he was met with Zeara who had managed to get the chains off, Alaric went charging at her but she blasted into the wall with her magic
It wasn't a super strong blast but it gave her time to quickly run out to the hallway and do a spell on herself
Clearing her mind she took and deep breath and waved her hand over her body "Invisique"
She was now invisible meaning no one could see her, but it would only hold out for so long since her magic is as strong as her body. She would pass out soon and she knew that so she had to get out of here

Back with Alaric he got up and quickly sped out to find Elena and Caroline but the blonde was grabbed by Klaus and he harshly told her to go home
Yeah, Klaus was here and he wanted to find Zeara and Elena. More Zeara then anything but he searched everywhere and didn't find her
That was until he turned a corner and saw her body limp on the ground
His breath hitched out of his throat and he almost forgot how to breathe as he was so scared. Picking up her body he sped out and set her in the back of his car
He was going to go back in the school and help Stefan and Damon but before that he moved Zeara's hair out of her face and kissed her head
and whispered to her softly even though she couldn't hear him
"I'll always save you love. I'll be back be real soon ok."
Speeding back in the school he was angry. Like angry angry. He didn't know the story of why Zeara was knocked out, but he didn't need to
He was going to tear Alaric apart even if it got him killed, because no one would lay a hand on his witch and live, no one
As he stormed through the hallways he heard Stefan and Damon fighting him but then heard they necks get snapped so he sped to Alaric and punched him in the face so hard the hunter flew into the lockers
But popping right back up Alaric flung Klaus to the ground and whipped out his white oak stake. It was a battle between the two, until it wasn't
A voice called out and it was Elena. She had a knife to her neck and said she would slice her own throat if he didn't let Klaus go. The doppelgänger had figured out his life was tied to hers, so if she died so did he
And then he would be gone, forever. As Elena cut open her neck it distracted Alaric giving the hybrid and chance to get out
So Klaus took that chance and punched Alaric then sped out of there, not waiting for anyone of anything

Groaning Zeara sat up and found herself in a bed that wasn't hers but familiar, a moment later Klaus entered the room with a small smile
He sat on the edge of the bed as Zeara sat up to listen as he started talking "You're ok, I promise. I'm sorry it had to come to this and you get hurt. Just know I'll always save you."
The hybrid stared into her eyes slowly reaching for her hand and Zeara grabbed onto his hand looking him into the eyes "Klaus, I'm scared. Ok I'm ready but I am so scared. I know you know what I'm talking about and I want you to understand that I really want this and us but I jump into relationships so quick."
Klaus spoke quietly "We can move slow, we don't have to be official." It kind of pained him to say that because he wanted everyone to know that she was his and he would always protect her
The witch shook her head still holding on his hand "Just wait. I was abandoned by my parents and so when I moved here I looked for love and acceptance so fast, whether that was in friendships or romantic relationships. I jumped into relationships so fast and look where that got me. Every romance I had is done and almost all my friendships are destroyed."
She looked down and let go of his hand. Klaus' faced dropped and he also looked away "So you don't want this right now. It's ok I won't pressure you, I'm just going to go ok love." As he got up and started walking towards the door he felt a hand grip onto his wrist
It was Zeara and had a blank face but her eyes smiled. The said so many things and he knew, he knew what she wanted. She wanted to take things slow and not be official but not just friends
She wanted it to be like a normal human relationship and she wanted a do over with their whole relationship
He was completely and entirely right, and Zeara saw that he knew and understood what she wanted, including how she wanted to start over
They stared in each other eyes for what felt forever. Zeara dropped his hand and stood up walking towards Klaus and standing right in front of him. She smiled big and laughed
"No, I want us. But I don't think we should jump into everything so fast, ok I want to start over.But before we do that let me do this." She cupped his face and he held onto her waist. They held their foreheads together, both of their smiles big and bright
Zeara locked her lips to his kissing him
It was filled with love and soft. It said a million words that they could never say through speaking. Once they pulled away Klaus laughed held out his hand
"Guess I need to give a proper introduction to you love. Niklaus Mikaelson." The Velesco laughed softly and shook his hand "Zeara Velesco"
They headed downstairs as it was time to leave and Zeara had agreed. He told her to get ready so they could go to her house and she could pack but also update Rebekah. See the blonde was at the Velescos house watching and caring for Xila
When Klaus realized Zeara had really gone to see Alaric Rebekah volunteered to watch the baby since she loved kids and Xila
As they were getting ready to leave Klaus was grabbing his things but Zeara voice stopped him "Wait don't you need Elena?"
The answer she was going to receive was something she never expected and almost made her melt
Klaus walked up to her and held her face "I don't need anymore hybrids or at all. I made up with my family and we agreed to always fight and protect each other. But that's not all. I have all I need right in front of me, love you are all I need so let's go get your daughter and we'll be on our way."
She nodded and smiled. As they were about to head out the door someone came in and punched Klaus while someone held Zeara
Quickly realizing who the people were. It was Tyler and Damon. Tyler held Zeara so tight she could barely even breath let alone move
And Damon ripped into Klaus' chest grabbing onto his heart. Unknown to Zeara and Klaus these two had been planning this with Bonnie, and it was to desiccate him and stop his heart
Klaus could feel his heart beating really loud and fast and Zeara could hear it too. The hybrid tried clawing at Damon's hand but it was like it was glued there
Zeara tried fighting Tyler but he was too strong and she couldn't even move
As Klaus' heart started slowing down veins coursed up his body and made their way onto his face
The witch couldn't believe this was happening, and right in front of her. She yelled at Tyler to let go of her with tears in her eyes
Klaus could hear the pain in Zeara's voice and it made him sad to hear her voice break
"No no please! Damon stop!"
As she begged more veins appeared on Klaus. He looked straight into Zeara's eyes as his heart stopped beating and his body fell on to the ground
Once his body hit the ground his eyes closed and Damon and Tyler left
Tyler released Zeara she immediately rushed toward Klaus and held his face. Tears fell on the ground and she held him and begged "Klaus please, please wake up, wake up!"
Her voice broke and she yelled and sobbed "Niklaus please, please. Wake up wake up please, please Klaus"
She whispered so quiet and sad but still sobbing "Please Klaus."

Walking into her home sadly and still crying she was greeted with Stefan and Rebekah holding Xila on the couch and silent
They knew what happened because right after Damon called and Rebekah wanted to rip his throat out but they needed to watch the baby
She saw tears on Rebekah's face and immediately gave her a hug
Yes Zeara kind of sorta had a thing with Klaus, but he was Rebekah's brother who had been with her for over 1000 years, and now he technically was gone
She knew that it was going to be extremely difficult on her "Rebekah I'm so so sorry. I really am."
The blonde mikaelson hugged her crying "It's not your fault mumsy. I know."
When they pulled apart Zeara told them it was okay for them to stay and they agreed. It turns out Zeara could keep Xila until tomorrow because Tyler and Caroline had called Stefan and told them to come over and celebrate with drink but he said no, as it would be disrespectful
Since he knew they were drinking he called Tyler's mom to see if she could take Xila but she said she couldn't
So the only option was for the 8 month to stay with her mom, and that wasn't a problem for Zeara or anyone
Since it was late and they were all tired they decided it was time to go to bed. Rebekah gave Zeara a goodnight hug and was happy to finally be back with her roomie
Xila was put to sleep and Stefan decided to share Rebekah's bed with her. After the news of her brother the mikaelson wanted nothing more then to be held her old and rekindled love
Even though Stefan's brother basically killer her brother she couldn't and would never hold that against him. After a little Zeara hoped the two vampires were asleep so she quietly slipped out the room
Walking to the kitchen she grabbed some water when she became really, extremely dizzy and lightheaded
She dropped the water and fell to the ground passing out. With their vampire hearing, Stefan and Rebekah heard a thump and saw Zeara wasn't in the room anymore so they went out to the kitchen and saw Zeara passed out
