Sup dudes! Been a while. Really long while and boy do I have a treat! Recently I've gotten into Kamen Riders and man that sprung up some ideas! My other stories are still be worked as we speak, just not as much as I have a bunch of things going on. This story will be my main focus and may be one of my greatest works!
Quirks. In a world where 80% of the world is filled with superhumans. It's great to be born with a quirk, who knows what abilities you'll get and what chances you'll be given to be a pro hero in the world. Although there was a group of heroes that defied all that and went to become some of the greatest heroes and Japanese history. Kamen Riders, heroes that came from many generations who went toe to toe with villains and monsters without a quirk. Now in todays generation, none have been seen. This is the story of how I became the greatest Kamen Rider.
(Aldera Junior high)
Kagura Komuro, our main protagonist boi with short black hair that he tries to keep neat but ends up halfway wild and sea foam colored eyes. His facial features makes him look a little older but not taken serious because of his skinny frame. It was the last week of 7th grade before summer break started. The students in a particular class were chatting up a storm, going about their day and thinking up of plans to do over break until the teacher slammed a stack of papers on his desk. "You're about to enter your last year of junior high and you're spending these last few moments making conversation?!" The teacher exclaimed as the students stood quiet. Some of them didn't really pay attention. "One year away from entering high school! I have these papers right here for you guys to write about your career plans..." As he tapped the papers with his hand, he smiled and threw them in the air, "I know you lot are aiming to becoming pro heroes!" He said as the whole class showed off their quirks. Kagura on the other hand just took his phone out and started swiping through things while one of his classmates, Katsuki Bakugo started bantering about how he's going to U.A and be the first and only student from this school to enter. Our protagonist went and grabbed a career sheet from the floor and went to fill it out. Bakugo noticed this and burnt the paper up with his quirk. "Go grab another one shithead! Just know your place and understand I'll be the first-" "Yeah yeah I know Bakugo. The first to U.A high, you haven't stopped since first year of middle school."
The ash blonde hair classmate scowled and blew Kagura's desk in half with an explosion. The teacher didn't do anything but sighed. "Komuro just go grab another desk from the supply room. Bakugo do that again and you'll get detention." As Kagura stood up to leave the classroom, Bakugo frowned and sat back down, not wanting to test the waters of having detention in his school record. Kagura was walking down the hallways while still holding his career paper. He was going to write police officer or fireman. As a kid, he always fantasized of becoming a kamen rider and go pro. No one knew what happened to them. Some say they all died from powerful villains, others have said they retired and disappeared. The only remaining riders that were alive and retired was Zero-One, Thouser and Genm, although Dan Kuroto was a bugster and in prison, he couldn't age. So his game driver and gashats were locked away. Rumors have it that Grease and Rogue are still out there fighting off villains, which didn't make sense, they were only around before the fourth generation of quirks. "If only I can get my hands on a driver, I could have a fighting chance against bakugo."
(Later that day)
School was finally over and summer vacation has begun. Kagura was packing his things including his Zero-One notebook. Out of all the riders, Kagura looked up to Zero-One, a reiwa gen kamen rider that retired a few years ago as the president decided to focus on his company and technology to help the people and pro heroes in anyway that he can. As Kagura was about to put away his notebook, the blonde asshole came by along with his goons and swiped Kagura's notebook off. "What the hell Bakugo?!" The explosive user smirked and observed the notebook, "kamen riders. You're really a fan of these weaklings Juku?"
(1st pov)
Juku, not sure why he calls me that. Apparently it means irregular, guess because me being quirkless is not normal for him whatsoever. When I moved to this neighborhood and transferred to this school, things started to turn out badly for me when I announced I was quirkless. Bakugo was the first to start the bullying, others started to follow until I fought against them. Some of the other kids either stayed away from me or stopped messing with me, I just kept to myself but Bakugo kept going, knowing I couldn't compete with him and his quirk.

Bakugo torched the notebook and tossed it out the window while smirking one last time. "Those riders of yours look pretty useless, no wonder all of them are done. If you want to be one so badly just jump off a building and hope on your next life you'll be one." Kagura didn't mind the bullying and the constant threats, he wouldn't see any of these people again after middle school. Yeah he didn't mind, but when you bring up his childhood heroes, that's when you've crossed the line. Bakugo was about to turn around until Kagura got close and connected a right punch to the bully's chin. Bakugo fell down and looked at the floor shocked. "What the hell just happened?" Bakugo thought as it took him a few seconds to register the fact that Kagura punched him. Bakugo tried to get up but couldn't as his knees felt like jelly. One of the other students looked back and heard foot steps, "shit Bakugo let's go someone's coming!" Using all his strength, Bakugo got up and ran off with the others, at the last second he gave Kagura death glare as if he's saying this ain't over. Kagura on the other hand gave him a stern look but sighed as they left. He picked up his backpack and went outside to grab his notebook, "well at least it wasn't the limited edition notebook, I'll be saving that one for U.A...if I ever make it.
(In the shopping area)
Another mysterious person walked out of the store with a bag of food, standing at 5'10 with a small brown goatee, brown hair that is swept back and wearing a casual outfit such as a button up short sleeve shirt and denim jeans with some black sneakers. "Alright, what do you say we get back to the building and get started on those reports Izu." The woman next to him, slightly shorter than him, with short black hair, teal colored eyes and a professional white office attire. The most unique appearance of hers is the module ear pieces over where her ears are suppose to be. "Should I inform Vice President Fukuzoe to prepare the forms now President Aruto?" President Aruto Hiden is the CEO of Hiden Intelligence, a company specialized in creating synthetic A.I. androids to a customers speculations for their everyday need wether it be construction, babysitting or even cooking. Now he also makes humagears that are designed to help people who dream of becoming pro heroes of the world. "Nah we'll pop right in as a surprise hehe."
Suddenly some sort of sludge villain was heading towards them, focusing on Izu. Aruto blocked in front of her and was about to reach for something until he realized, "I don't have my driver!" Just when the two were about to brace for impact, the two got pushed down, making the sludge miss his target and kept running away. The person who pushed them aside, which was Kagura, "You guys okay?" He asked before grabbing his backpack. "Sorry for pushing you two, I mean we all smell after a day but not to the point of bringing a whole sewage system with you, ugh." Aruto couldn't help but smile and looked at Izu to see if she was also okay, "you okay Izu?" The android helper looking back and also smiled and bowed, "Yes president, not to worry you should know that I'm still durable." Not needed anymore, Kagura left the scene and went on with his day. The Hiden president went to look back at Kagura to thank him until he noticed he walked away. "Wait! I didn't even say thanks! Let's go Izu!"
An hour goes by with the sludge villain on the loose. Kagura was walking back home after his little shopping spree, a Kuuga shirt, a Den-O action figure and Build's Lock bottle for his driver. "I just need to get my hands on the dragon bottle and I can use the keydragon combo, man I can't believe they even sell the full bottles!" As he was walking by, he saw the sludge villain in the middle of a burning plaza, with a victim in hand suffocating them. As Kagura got closer, a blonde skinny individual was next to him, devastated at the fact that he couldn't do anything. Kagura on the other hand noticed that the person that was being held hostage by the villain was none other than Bakugo, a part of Kagura wanted to walk away. It just Bakugo, who bullied him just for kicks, but that was a millisecond ago. Passing by the blonde individual and the other pro heroes, Kagura sprinted over to the two and tried to get a hold of Bakugo. Death arms saw this and yelled at the kid, "what the hell are you doing boy! Get away!"
As if the warning want through his right ear and out the left ear, Kagura kept on trying to find a limb to grab ahold and get Bakugo out. "Dammit Bakugo, even though all you do is belittle me, here I am, my legs moving by themselves just so I can save your ass!" That was enough of an ear shot for the skinny individual, he was going to make his move until the air next to him caught him off guard.
Rising Hopper!
Suddenly Kagura and Bakugo were pulled away and behind the sludge villain. "Man I haven't done this in a while, Izu remind me to stretch more often." Kagura opened his eyes to see someone he thought he wouldn't meet. "You're Z-Zero-One!" Kagura exclaimed. Standing in front of him was Reiwa's first generation Kamen Rider Zero-One. "That's me! Now villain, there's only one person that can stop you, and that's me!" The villain glared at the rider before charging towards him until a bigger individual stood between them. Pro hero All Might, number one ranked in Japan. "Thanks for the assistance fellow hero but I will take it from here." The villain grew more agitated but decided to attack All Might with everything he's got, "Damn you all, just let me go!" The number one hero smiled brightly and cocked back a right punch, throwing one of his super moves, "Detroit Smash!" The punch was strong enough to shred the villain in pieces, creating a tornado and changing the weather, everyone watching were impressed, shouting and cheering for All Might as well as the return of a Kamen Rider. Kagura looked around and saw Bakugo getting praised by some heroes, meanwhile Death Arms was scolding Kagura for his recklessness. All Might was nowhere to be seen and Zero-One was making sure everyone was alright. Kagura assured Death Arms that he won't be as rash next time and said goodbye. Making sure he grabbed his stuff, sadly someone took his merchandise, Kagura sighed and walked home with nothing but his backpack and a burnt notebook. "First my notebook, than I get scolded and now my stuff got stolen...when will things get better for me?" Well that answer comes straight at him as All Might slid through in front of the middle schooler. "I've finally found you!"
"All Might?! Wait how'd you get away from the reporters so quickly?" All Might couldn't help but give out a hearty laugh, "when you're the number one pro, escaping the media is a piece of cake. For I am All M-" He was going to finish off his statement until he shrunk down and spat blood all over the place. Everything stood quiet, Kagura a minute to register what just happened and blinked. "You're not All Might." " I am!". The supposed number one hero sat down on the wall next to him and sighed, looking up at the sky and back at Kagura." "That was real brave of you kid. To go towards a villain not knowing what you're gonna get into until that very last moment." Kagura couldn't help but scratch his cheek and look away. "Well I couldn't help it, my feet-" "just moved on their own?" The student stood quiet but nodded. All Might smirked and closed his eyes. "Every great hero came from somewhere but the one thing they have in common was the fact that their body moved on it's own to save someone they didn't know." He got back up and approached Kagura at a steady pace, with a focused look in his eyes, "and that is why I want you to be my successor." Three seconds went by, Kagura having his eyes half closed wondering about that statement. "What do you mean your successor." "It is exactly what I mean!" All Might held his hand out and there appeared a glowing ball in the palm of his hand. "My quirk is called One for All, a quirk that was passed down from generation to generation. Now I want you take up the mantle as I find you worthy." Kagura just stood there, collecting all the information and trying to make sense of it all. Worthy successor? A quirk that can be passed down? Couldn't be possible, well quirks are still being studied to this day and Kamen Riders used technology to fight villains. The thing is All Might himself is giving him the chance of a lifetime! Even if Kagura couldn't be a Kamen Rider, just having an all powerful quirk will let him take off toward his dreams of becoming a hero. Sorting out his decision, Kagura breathed out slowly and looked at All Might. "I accept." All Might smiled and spat out some more blood. "Good! I was wondering how I could keep you quiet since I told you my secret if you denied my offer." Kagura smiled and chuckled, "heh, trust me your secret dies with me if that happened, don't worry All Might." "Well alright, so tomorrow being Saturday, I want you to meet me at dagobah beach early tomorrow morning. I shall explain to you the plan to get you ready for U.A!"
After that meeting, Kagura walked towards his house, where he saw nicely kept Toyota Crown parked in front of his house. Raising an eyebrow, he went inside and found his parents conversating with someone. "Hey guys, what's going on?" He looked towards his right and found the president of Hiden Intelligence along with his assistant humagear. Kagura's mom got up and hugged her son. "Kagura we were wondering when you were getting back! Mr. Hiden here wanted to have a chat with you about something exciting!" Kagura looked back at the president, who got up and offered to shake his hand which Kagura took. "Man am I glad I managed to find you Komuro! Here I managed to get your stuff back after Izu picked it up!" In the president's hand was the bag of merchandise that Kagura bought a while ago. "Thanks...wait are you?" "Aruto Hiden, president of Hiden Intelligence. But you probably know me as Kamen Rider Zero-One." That statement right there made Kagura drop his bag again and dropped to his knees, after processing that information. Aruto grabbed ahold of the middle schooler and smiled brightly. He sat Kagura down and brought out the rising hopper progrise key and put it on the coffee table. "After you saved me and Izu from that sludge villain, you popped a small joke before leaving. Heroes should always make sure that the citizens are okay and that they are kept at ease, either with statements or make a joke to lighten up the mood. It took me a while to find you but decided to find out where you live as I want not only you, but your parents to know about this." Kagura stood quiet, wondering why his parents had to do with any of this. Aruto smiled brightly and moved the key towards Kagura, not knowing Kagura was going to have a brain fart. "How would you like to become my successor?"
And that is it for chapter 1. I really do hope that you guy's liked this, I would love to continue this story. What happen to Izuku? Will there be more Riders? How will Kagura manage One for All and take up the mantle as Zero-One? Guess you'll have to find out!
