-I think my mom will be more calm by living somewhere else. - Juliette says enjoying how Edward plays with her hair
-Your mom needs a rest, she'll never tell you but she needs to make sure you're okay. - Juliette has a serious expression on her face until smiling.
-I'm okay already, I met the right person, his family's amazing, and my past doesn't bother me anymore. - She says taking his neck to leave a small kiss on his lips
-Your mom thought about bying a house to keep you safe. - She stops playing with his hair to look at him.
-What? - She asks smiling
-She wants to have a house here to keep an eye on you and she feels more safe here. - She frowns while smiling mockinlgly.
-Have you read my mother's thoughts? - Edward smiles and shakes his head lightly.
-Not exactly, she's been talking to me sometimes. Every time, she thanked me for keeping you protected and in a familiar environment. She said that that's what she couldn't give you when you were little. - Juliette looks down.
-My mom tried to give me a good childhood, my dad always went to work and came back late. My mom was the one who took care of me and always got in charge of having a good relationship with my father. I think her problems began when he discovered about my mom's gift and faked her death. - Before they could say something else, Alice enters the room with a huge smile.
-Both of you are coming with me. - Juliette and Edward frown confused.
Alice takes them by their arms and makes them go to the living room where the whole family is making a plan for Jolie to meet the Denalis. Bella smiles by watching how the three vampires exit Juliette's room.
-In that room. Don't make any noise because they could hear you. - Bella warns Riley who's very busy analysing Juliette
Without listening to Bella's warning, he enters Juliette's room through the balcony. He smiles by feeling the scent of what smells like a human.
-She's a human. - Riley whispers, enjoying Juliette's scent
He walks through the room silently until approaching the wardrobe. He starts looking at each and every one of her clothes until noticing a red dress with a heart neckline. He smiles immediately and takes it to hide it in his jacket. He walks through the room again until stopping in front of the bed where Juliette's scent is stronger. He enjoys her scent for a while more until hearing how someone goes up the stairs.
-I gotta pick up something, Alice, it won't take long. - Juliette assures walking up the stairs
Riley smiles and disappears from the blonde girl's room. Juliette enters her room to look for her gloves. She realises that a part of her bed is not in its place but doesn't pay attention to it. She turns around and Edward's in front of her who has a serious expression.
-I said I wouldn't take long. - The blonde girl says with half a smile
Before she could say anything else, Edward starts walking through the whole room. he frowns confused by seeing her wardrobe open, knowing perfectly that she always closes it. Juliette puts on her gloves, still looking at him confused.
-What is it? - She asks
-Someone was here. - Edward says before exiting the room to look for his brothers
Juliette follows him, still confused. When they're in the living room, everyone looks at Edward confused.
-Someone was in Juliette's room. - Emmett and Jasper stand up quickly to go to her room.
Both vampires follow the scent until stopping in the middle of the forest. They frown confused and return to the house.
-I felt a strange smell as well. - Rosalie admits
-Who was it? - Carlisle asks
-A stranger, I didn't recognize its scent. - Edward explains
-A nomad that was passing through? - Esme asks confused
-I don't think so, it would've done something insane. - Rosalie says firmly
-The trace disappeared from five miles away from the house. - Jasper says entering the house along with Emmett who went with Rosalie immediately
-Someone's plotting this. - Carlisle says
-Victoria? - Juliette asks taking a step forward
-I would've seen her decision. - Alice tells her
-Maybe the Volturis? - Edward asks taking his girlfriend's hand
-I don't think it was the Volturi, I've seen Aro's decisions. - Alice explains her brother
-We felt Bella's scent. - Emmett says getting everyone's attention
-Bella? - Juliette asks
-That's impossible, Bella disappeared. - Rosalie says
-Or maybe not. - Alice whispers remembering one of her visions which she doesn't pay attention to
-Are you sure? - Edward asks her
-She already took her decision, that's why I had the vision of Bella arguing with her father. - She says standing up - Victoria transformed Bella because they both wanna get revenge from Edward because he has Juliette. They want to kill her.
-They won't do it alone. - Juliette assures thinking about the possibility - They need more vampires to outnumber us.
-One of them could've been the stranger that entered your room. - Esme says
-We need to be sure that the intruder doesn't return. - Juliette says, being hugged by the waist by Edward
-What do you suggest? - Carlisle asks her
-Maybe the wolves could help us. - She says not being completely sure
-Seriously? The stinky dogs? - Rosalie asks sarcastically
-I don't like them either, but they could help us recognize the intruder if it returns. - Juliette explains
-We'll have to talk to them. - Carlisle tells his family
-I will, I suppose that that Jacob would like to see me. - She says looking at her boyfriend who rolls his eyes immediately
-Ohh, the dog liked your girlfriend. - Emmett says making fun of Edward
-Juliette... - Edward says
-No, this puts us all in danger so I'll find the way of telling him and I won't discuss it. - Juliette says firmly
