-I gotta go to Alaska in a month to finish my registration in the university. - Juliette says reading the book that she brought
Edward pays attention to what she says but plays constantly with his partner's blonde hair, leaving small kisses on her cheek and going down to her neck.
-You're supposed to be listening. - She says smiling while closing her eyes
Juliette looks at Edward who starts leaving small kisses on her lips. The blonde girl returns the kiss while taking his neck and enjoying the sunlight that makes their skin sparkle.
-Marry me. - Edward whispers after separating from her
She stays quiet for a few seconds before smiling.
-No. - Juliette whispers before kissing him again
-Marry me. - He whispers again caressing her cheek while staring at her
-You'll keep insisting until I say 'yes', right? - The girl asks amused
-Yeah. - The vampire admits smiling
She sits on his lap and lets him rest on the floor with her on top if him. Edward keeps his hands on her waist while looking at her.
-Marriage is just a piece of paper. - Juliette whispers
-Where I come from it's how someone says 'I love you'. - Edward whispers in answer
-Well, where I come from... at my age, it's how someone says 'I just got knocked up'. - She says amused before standing up, sitting on Edward's lap
He smiles and sits up, getting near her once again.
-So you're worried about what people willl think. - He says looking at his girlfriend's side profile
-Of course not there are many couples that end up in divorce. - She says after thinking about it for a moment. She takes his neck and gives him half a smile - My parents are an example. They promised their love and now, my father's in jail.
-Divorce between vampires and half-humans aren't much. - Both of them laugh by his comment - Marry me, Juliette.
-No, I won't. - She whispers before leaving a kiss on his lips
Juliette has the intention of taking her book again but stops suddenly by hearing how some animal's heart beats. Her blue eyes change to blood-red immediately. She stands up at the same time as Edward.
-Go. - He whispers. The blonde girl, without hesitating, runs with speed towards the source of such heartbeat.
She suddenly stops and hides behind one of the trees, watching the deer that finds itself very busy drinking water. Juliette smiles and starts approaching it cautiously. She takes an impulse and before she could even touch the deer, she's defeated by a bigger animal. She cusses and stands up immediately, getting in front of the ginger wolf.
-Seriously? Couldn't you defeat me... I don't know, after I hunted the deer? - Juliette asks angrily
-Love... - The blonde girl looks back at her boyfriend that's already by her side.
-I'm okay, it's just that this dog made my prey run away. - She says
-What are you doing here, Jacob? This isn't your territory. - Edward tells the wolf
-Jacob? - The newborn asks confused
-Don't even think about it. - Edward warns taking her waist strongly
Before Juliette could even ask, Edward already pulled her against his chest. Confused, she stays on her place until feeling how his grip is less strong. She turns around and gets in front of the black haired guy who has shorts and is shirtless.
-So you're a werewolf. - She says crossing her arms
-Another bloodsucker, great. - The guy says rolling his eyes
-I'm not a complete bloodsucker. - She says changing her eye colour back to blue
-I can see that, I hear how your heart beats. Very slowly, but it beats. - Jacob says approaching her
-You don't have to come near me. - She warns lifting up a hand to stop him, trying not to wince by his horrible scent.
-What are you doing here, Jacob? - Edward asks taking her waist who places her hands on tops of his
-Bella disappeared, she left Charlie's house two weeks ago. For what I know, she left because she had to accept the idea of you having another person. - Jacob says looking at the blonde girl
-I suppose you know I broke up with her. - Edward says reading the werewolf's thoughts
-Of course I know, I was by her side for a month, trying to prevent her from doing something insane. - Jacob says with anger in his voice
-Don't tell me, you like Bella. - Juliette guesses while smiling mockingly
-How do you know that? - Jacob asks confused
-One, you just admitted it. Two, for how you defend her. And three, because I can see how your eyes sparkle each time you mention her. - She says counting with her fingers
-Why are you wearing gloves? It's not snowing. - He says confused
Juliette smiles immediately and stares at Jacob. Her eyes change colour from blue to white and her hair starts taking some silver strands. Jacob looks down at his feet, realising that these are frozen.
-Unless you wanna end up frozen, it'll be better for you not to say anything about my gloves or about me. - She warns getting back her eye colour and her blonde hair strands - Well, you both have a lot to talk about so I'll just leave. - She says setting herself free from Edward's grip
She looks back at him to give him a short kiss on the lips.
-I'll go hunting, I'll be waiting for you at home. - She whispers before kissing him again
She starts walking until disappearing with her speed.
-I can't judge you, your new girlfriend is very pretty and has a body that's... -
-Don't you dare finish that sentence. - Edward warns angrily
-Well, I suppose you know something about Bella. - Jacob says crossing his arms
-No, I don't know anything about her. The last time I saw her was at the graduation and it was almost a month ago. - Edward says crossing his arms, too
-We must help on finding her, Charlie and Renee are desperate on finding her. She said she'll call Charlie when arriving at Arizona but she never called.
-I can ask Emmett and Jasper to help you but don't count on me. Bella might think I want to come back with her. - Edward says
-Great, I can work with that. - Edward nods and turns around to go away but stops suddenly.
-Stop thinking about Juliette like that. - He says angrily before disappearing
I wanna make clear that at the beginning of the story, Edward and Juliette were in their second year of high school. They return to Forks and continue their classes together. They finish second year and start third year.
In one of the previous chapters, (the one in which Juliette looks for her mother) Alice mentions that they're in vacations. Those vacation were of third year.
The six months that I told you in chapter 29, pass and Juliette finishes high school, graduates and the whole thing. We're now a month after graduation and Juliette is already accepted at the university of Alaska.
After making this clear, I wanna tell you a thought that came to me at school. My parents told me that I'm overweight. So if I ever become an actress, I'm scared that people might starts throwing me hate for not being skinny.
