Presently Kara is in her bedroom, just finishing putting on her clothes. Lena and Alura have already left for the day, with Lena being the one to take their daughter to school this morning, instead of the two of them. This has happened because last night Kara had a rather late evening, as there happened to be a few criminals that decided to go on a night-time spree, which required Supergirl's attention. All this meant that Kara didn't crash into her pillow, in bed, next to Lena, until close to 3 AM. Therefore, because of all this, Lena told Kara to just sleep in longer, and arrive later to work, as she didn't want her fiancé to be too tired. Kara, still being very tired when Lena told her this, just groggily agreed with Lena's suggestion, barely opening her eyes.
At the moment, however, it is about 10AM, and Kara knows that she really should get into work, even if her fiancé is the boss and she could arrive as late as she wants, or not at all, with no risk of being fired.
Kara walks into her bathroom, deciding that she wants to brush her hair one last time. However, about a minute into Kara being in her bathroom, she hears a noise coming from inside her home. Kara knows right now that she should be the only one at home, so this puts her on alert. Kara then uses her super hearing and finds that there is one other person in her home, as she can detect their heartbeat. Kara doesn't recognise the heartbeat, so she knows that it isn't Alex, Lena, Alura or Eliza, as they are the only heartbeats she knows.
"I know someone is out there!" Kara yells out, and then goes storming into her bedroom, where the heartbeat is coming from.
As soon as Kara walks back into her bedroom, she ends up being surprised, but not because she comes across some sort of intruder who has come to her home to attack her, but because she comes across her friend from another universe, Barry Allen.
"Oh Rao, Barry! You scared me! I thought some stranger had broken into my home." Kara exclaims.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that." Barry replies, with a sheepish look on his face, "The portal just detects you wherever you are. So, I couldn't really do anything about that, my bad."
Kara nods her head in understanding, knowing that her speedster friend from another universe obviously didn't mean to scare her. Barry, for his part, then begins to look around the bedroom that the two of them are standing in, and grows a confused expression on his face.
"This isn't your normal place." Barry says, with some confusion in his voice.
"No." Kara replies, with a smile, "Alura and I moved in here about 4ish months ago."
"Oh, cool, why did you..." Barry begins to ask, but then stops, his eyes going wide as he looks at the ring on Kara's left hand. "Oh my god! You're engaged!"
Kara breaks out into a big smile as soon as Barry says that, happily recalling the memory that she and Lena are in fact going to be married.
"Yes, I am. It happened about a week ago." Kara smiles.
"That's great Kara!" Barry smiles, happily, "So, who is the lucky guy?"
"Girl. Her name is Lena." Kara smiles back, happily.
"Oh, sorry. I shouldn't have presumed. I'd love to meet her some time." Barry says, "Does she happen to be the same Lena that was looking after your daughter the last time you helped out in my universe?"
"Yes. She is." Kara nods.
"Oh, well, she must truly be amazing then." Barry smiles.
"She is." Kara nods, with a loving smile, as she thinks of Lena.
Barry nods his head back at Kara, happy for his alien friend.
"Anyway, what are you doing here, Barry?" Kara asks, "I presume you need my help again or something? This isn't a social call?"
"No, sorry, it's not. We do need your help." Barry says.
"Okay." Kara nods, "What's the situation?"

It is now about an hour later, and Kara is walking into her fiancé's office, with a nervous look on her face. Kara has now agreed to go and help Barry on Earth-1, but that doesn't mean she is thrilled about it. Kara absolutely hates the prospect of being away from her family for any period of time, but she knows these are the small sacrifices she has to make because she's a hero. Kara might hate being away from Lena and Alura, but she knows if she doesn't go to Earth-1 to help, and then something bad happens to her friends there, she will feel very guilty.
"Kara!" Lena smiles, lovingly, as soon as she notices the blonde, her future wife, walk into the office.
"Hey, Lee." Kara replies, giving her fiancé a small smile.
"What's the matter?" Lena asks, confused, noticing Kara's demeanour.
Kara sighs.
"Do you have a moment to talk for a bit?" Kara asks, knowing that Lena could be busy with all her CEO stuff.
"Of course I do, darling." Lena says, with a worried expression now appearing on her face, "But do I need to be worried?"
"No. It's nothing like that." Kara quickly says, alleviating any of Lena's fears.
"Okay." Lena nods.
Kara and Lena then move over to Lena's couch, taking seats very close to one another.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" Lena asks, after a few moments of Kara fidgeting in silence.
Kara sighs again.
"Just before I left for L-Corp today..... I got a visit from one of my friends from Earth-1, Barry Allen." Kara explains.
"The one that has super speed?" Lena asks, remembering Kara telling her about him.
"Yes." Kara nods, "Anyway, it looks like the heroes on Earth-1 have got into a bit of trouble, and they've asked for my help. So, at the end of today, after we pick Alura up from school, I'm going to be heading to Earth-1, but I don't know for how long. A week maybe, but hopefully less."
"Oh..... okay...." Lena replies, sounding a bit disappointed.
Kara notices Lena's response.
"I don't have to go.... if you don't want me to..." Kara replies.
"No.... It's just..... I'm going to miss you while you are gone, and I don't like the idea of you being in another universe where I can't easily contact you." Lena replies, "Although.... it would have been nice if you actually talked to me about this before you agreed."
"Oh Rao, I'm sorry Lena. I didn't even think about it. But you're right, I totally should have talked things through with you first before agreeing. I just guess I'm so used to simply agreeing whenever one of my friends from another Earth comes and asks for help. But I promise, in the future, I will do better about talking to you first before agreeing." Kara says.
"Thank you, darling." Lena smiles back.
"Good. Now, do you have any free time?" Kara asks, with a small smile on her face.
Lena grows a confused look on her face.
"Uhh.... I don't have a meeting for about 15 minutes, why?" Lena asks.
Kara gets up and walks to Lena's office door, and then locks it, before turning to look at her fiancé again.
"Because... seeing as we probably won't see each other for about a week, I want to have sex, right here, right now." Kara says, confidently.
Lena's eyes widen, certainly not expecting that from her girlfriend.
"Oh.... o.... okay." Lena smiles happily.
Kara then zooms over to Lena, and takes her in for a passionate kiss. A few moments after that, Kara has carried Lena to the other side of the room so she is sitting on the edge of her desk, and Kara then makes a move to brush everything off the desk, just like in the movies.
"Wait!" Lena calls out, stopping Kara.
Kara freezes.
"As romantic as that would be, I really can't have you throwing all this stuff from my desk. It would take me hours to get everything back in order." Lena explains.
"Oh..... shall we just move back to the couch then?" Kara suggests.
"Sure." Lena smiles back, "Although, remember, eventually, once I figure out how to actually make a strap that you don't destroy, I totally want to bend you over my desk and do you, while you're dressed as Supergirl."
Kara moans upon hearing that.
"Then.... you better figure out how to make that toy." Kara replies, slightly stammering from how turned on she is by the thought of it.
"I'll double down my efforts." Lena smiles, happily.
Lena and Kara then move over to the couch and continue their make out session. Eventually, the two lovers begin to remove one another's clothes.
"Wait...." Kara says this time, "I.... I don't have my power dampening bracelet or anything....."
"Oh, that won't matter." Lena smirks, confidently.
"Lena.... I don't want to hurt you.... We can't.... not without...." Kara begins.
"Darling." Lena interrupts, "Don't worry. I've got this."
Lena stands up from the couch, and walks back over to her desk, pulling out a tablet. Lena then changes her lights in her office to red sun lights, although just like at their home, they are not coloured red. As a result of this, right away, Kara can feel her powers mostly going away.
"Rao.... You installed red sun lights in your office?" Kara stammers, as Lena walks back over to her.
"I told you, I am very serious about bending you over my desk and fucking you." Lena says, confidently.
Kara moans again, and Lena then interrupts the moan by taking her fiancé in for another kiss.
The two girlfriends continue to kiss for the next few minutes, before they soon completely undress one another, and start to make love. Kara and Lena then spend the next several minutes moaning, giving one another all sorts of pleasure, enjoying every second because they don't know when they will get to do this next.
Eventually, basically 15 minutes later, Kara and Lena are interrupted by a knock at Lena's office door.
"Miss Luthor?" Eve calls out, "Your meeting starts..... in like 2 minutes...."
"I'll be right out, thank you, Eve!" Lena calls out.
Kara and Lena then quickly untangle from one another and get dressed, making themselves presentable, before they both then leave the office, giving one another a final kiss. However, as the two fiancés walk out of the office, they can't help but notice the knowing look Eve gives them, with a small smile on her face. Kara and Lena totally know that Eve knew what they were doing.

It is now later on in the afternoon, and Kara, Lena and Alura have all just got back home after the two mother's picked Alura up from school. Seeing as Lena knows that Kara will be leaving soon, she decided to work from home for the rest of the afternoon, because Lena knows that Alura probably won't take the news that Kara is going away for a while very well.
"Alura?" Kara says, as the 5-year-old drinks some apple juice in their kitchen.
"Yes, mommy?" Alura replies, licking her lips of the juice.
"I need to tell you something. Let's sit down." Kara says, gesturing to the couch in their living room.
"Okay." Alura nods, happily.
Kara, Lena and Alura then all go and sit on one of their couches in their living room, with Alura sitting in between her two moms.
"You know how I have friends who don't live here, who are also super heroes, like me?" Kara begins.
"Yes." Alura says, nodding her head.
"Well, today, one of them came to visit me, and he's asked for my help. So, for the next week, but hopefully less, I'm going to go away to help them." Kara explains.
Alura's face drops as soon as Kara says this, which, right away, hurts Kara's heart.
"I won't get to see you?" Alura asks, already sounding upset.
"Yeah." Kara nods, sadly, "But you will still be here with momma, and everyone else, and I will come back as soon as I possibly can."
"But..... I don't want you to go." Alura says, sadly.
"Oh, Alura." Kara says, and takes her daughter in for a hug.
Kara and Alura continue to hug for the next few minutes while Lena simply watches on, with a sad smile on her face, comfortingly rubbing Alura's back. A part of Lena does want to join the hug, but she knows that she needs to allow Kara and Alura to have their moment right now.
Eventually, Kara and Alura part from their hug, but Alura still remains very close to her mommy.
"How about I make you a deal?" Kara suggests.
"What deal?" Alura asks, curiously.
"How about while I am gone, you can step in for me, and help mommy with our wedding plans?" Kara suggests, looking at Lena.
Lena nods her head back, even though she knows that all of the plans with Alura likely won't be very helpful. Lena just knows it will be something to keep Alura's mind occupied, while also making her feel close to her mommy.
"Really?" Alura asks, surprised.
"Yeah." Kara nods back, with a smile, "There are a lot of things that need to be planned with a wedding, so there's a lot to do. How about you help mommy with what you want to wear, and what she wants to wear for the wedding, as you both need special outfits."
"I need a special outfit?" Alura asks, surprised.
"Of course you do, darling." Lena interjects, "You are our daughter, so we very much want you to be part of the wedding ceremony too. We just need to decide what your role will be, and what you want to do."
Alura grows a very big smile on her face after hearing that, clearly very much liking the idea.
"Okay." Alura nods, happily, and eagerly.
"Great." Kara smiles back, just as happily. "Then maybe once I get back the three of us can start talking about all the foods we want for the wedding. As that will certainly require for us to all go to a bunch of food tastings, and I know you'd like that."
"What types of food?" Alura asks, curiously.
Kara chuckles.
"It can be any type of food we like. So, we will get to taste a lot of different things, including foods to eat for dinner, and all sorts of cakes." Kara explains.
"Yes!!" Alura says, excitedly, "I want to do that!"
Kara and Lena both chuckle at their daughter's excitement. Lena very much knows Alura is like Kara in regards to food, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
"Good. We will plan to do that as soon as I get back home." Kara smiles.
"Yes, okay." Alura nods.
"So, do you feel better now about me leaving for a while?" Kara asks.
"Yeah.... a bit." Alura replies.
Kara gives Alura a small smile.
"I know you'll miss me, and I'll miss you too. But before you even know it, I'll be back, and you and I both know you will be perfectly fine and safe with momma, and will have an amazing time." Kara says, trying to reassure her daughter.
"Yeah, I'll make sure we have a lot of fun." Lena says, with a loving smile.
"Okay." Alura nods, still not sounding thrilled, but Kara knows this is the best she is going to get from Alura right now.
After this, over the next hour, Kara and Alura spend some more one on one time together, while Lena does some work in her home office. Eventually, once the hour is up, Barry Allen returns, ready for Kara to come and join him in his own universe.
"I know we have to be brief." Kara says to Barry, "But I'd like to introduce you to Alura, my daughter, and Lena, my fiancé."
"Hello. It's nice to meet both of you." Barry smiles, giving Lena and Alura little nod.
"Hello." Alura says, shyly, hiding behind Kara's legs.
"It's nice to meet you too." Lena says, stepping forward, "You make sure to keep my future wife safe, or I'll find a way to your universe and kick your ass."
Barry laughs upon hearing that.
"She's serious, Barry." Kara says, which causes Barry to stop laughing.
"Oh... yes... of course." Barry nods, a bit nervously now.
Kara then turns to Lena, and takes her in for a hug, and a kiss.
"I love you. I'll be back soon." Kara says.
"I love you too, darling. You be careful now. That's an order." Lena replies.
"I will." Kara nods.
Kara then crouches down to Alura's height, and takes the 5-year-old in for a big hug.
"I love you, my precious little girl." Kara says.
"Love you too, mommy." Alura replies.
"While I'm gone, you be a good girl, and make sure to be a good girl for mommy, and give her all the cuddles and kisses I won't be able to give her while I'm not here." Kara says.
"Okay." Alura says, now growing a smile.
Kara places a kiss on Alura's right check, and then stands back up. The blonde alien then gives her little family one last smile before then walking through the portal with Barry Allen, heading off to Earth-1.
After Kara leaves, Alura just stands still, looking at the spot where the portal used to be, not moving at all. Lena looks down at Alura, and she can tell that her daughter is digesting everything, and is likely upset. Lena knows she needs to be a good mom right now.
"Darling, why don't we watch a Disney movie, of your choice, snuggled on the couch? And we can have whatever you want for dinner." Lena suggests, hoping to improve Alura's mood.
Alura turns and looks her momma in the eyes.
"Can we have pizza?" Alura suggests.
Lena chuckles.
"Yes, of course we can." Lena replies, "Now, go pick a movie."
For the rest of the afternoon/evening, Alura basically sticks to Lena's side, snuggling up with her on their couch as they watch a movie and eat their dinner. After that, Lena and Alura watch a second movie, and the 5-year-old falls asleep cuddled next to Lena. Lena then decides to simply carry Alura up into her bedroom and allow her to sleep with her this evening. Lena knows that it's likely that Alura will probably wake up in the night and ask to sleep with her anyway, so the CEO thinks it's best to just cut to that now. Although, to be fair, Lena is very much going to be missing Kara's presence in her bed this evening, so she knows that Alura will at least make up for that.

Currently it is about 10:30 PM and Alex is driving back home from the DEO, having just finished one of her late shifts. Admittedly, Alex does find it a bit weird to think she's going 'home', because she's going to Sam and Ruby's home, which is her new home now. Alex hasn't yet completely moved in, but they will complete that process this coming weekend, and the redhead honestly couldn't be more excited for it. Alex knows this simply takes her one step closer to them all being an official little family, just like Kara, Lena and Alura. About 3 months ago Alex might have been pretty scared by the thought of it, and everything going so fast, but she isn't anymore. Alex is ready to dive right into it all. Alex wants it all, because she knows Sam and Ruby are it for her. Alex even has dreams about what their future will be like, with them all living together, and maybe having one or two more kids. Alex honestly feels her life really is going great.
Right now, Alex is about 10 minutes away from Ruby and Sam's house, her new home, and she is happily listening to some music on the radio, with a small smile on her face. Before Alex left the DEO, Sam sent her message to let her know that she has left her some dinner in the microwave to heat up, and if she has fallen asleep, to wake her up.
Alex stops at some traffic lights, waiting for them to turn green, and she then gets a call. Alex looks and sees that the call is from Winn, so she answers it via the built-in hands-free call system in her DEO issued car.
"Hey, Winn, what's up?" Alex replies.
"Alex, your car is being tracked!" Winn quickly says.
"What?" Alex asks, confused.
"I was just about to leave the DEO, but I then got an alert on one of my computers. Someone has got into one of our systems and has accessed the feature tracking your car. I'm trying to cut them out of it, but I'm locked out." Winn says.
The lights turn green, and Alex begins to drive forward.
"What do you me...." Alex begins, but then the redhead sees some sort of shadow looking thing in the road straight ahead of her, and then suddenly a car smashes into the side of Alex, sending her car flying, rolling over several times.
"Alex?! Alex!?!" Winn yells out on the phone, but then the call cuts off, the car now malfunctioning from all the damage.
Right now, Alex is completely upside down, stuck in her seat by her seatbelt. Alex can feel that she at least has a few broken ribs, and maybe a broken leg, with cuts all over her body. Then, at the same time, Alex feels that her head is pounding, and all she wants to do is fall asleep, but she knows she can't.
Alex takes a few moments to think of her DEO training, and then takes a deep breath. Alex knows that she needs to get out of the car as soon as possible, because there is a high likelihood that the car will catch on fire and she could be trapped.
Alex tries to get her seatbelt off, but it's stuck. Then while Alex is doing this, she smells something that she knows is a horrible sign, burning, the car has already caught on fire.
"Shit." Alex says to herself.
Alex looks to her wrist and is about to activate her signal watch to call Kara, but she then remembers that her sister is in another universe.
"Shit." Alex says again, and continues to fidget with her seatbelt, trying to undo it.
As Alex continues to try and get her seatbelt off, she looks to the side of the car, and she sees some sort of shadow. Alex thinks it must be a person who has come to help her.
"Hello?" Alex calls out.
Alex gets no response.
"Hello?!" Alex calls out again, "I'm stuck! I can't get out! I need help!"
Alex again doesn't get a response, so she thinks that whatever she is seeing can't be a person. However, Alex then sees the shadow move in a way that very much signals to her that it is a person.
"Hey!" Alex yells out again, now angrily, thinking this person is leaving her to die, and not helping her, with Alex now feeling some heat from the fire.
Alex begins to panic now, thinking that this actually might be it, continuing to try and get the seatbelt off, but failing, the fire creeping closer. While all this is happening, Alex's life flashes before her eyes, and she thinks about Lena, Kara and Alura, and then about Eliza, before finally thinking about Sam and Ruby. Alex doesn't want to leave any of them, but she thinks this might be it. Alex begins to cry thinking of it, not because she's afraid of death, but because she doesn't want to leave her family behind.
The fire continues to creep closer, and Alex is getting very sleepy, the fumes now causing her to fall into unconsciousness. Alex's last thoughts are that at least she will be unconscious and won't feel the pain of the fire burning her body.
A few moments after Alex falls into unconsciousness the door to Alex's car is ripped upon, and then someone reaches inside and rips Alex's seatbelt in half, before then pulling ger out of the car, saving her.
"I've got her, Winn." J'onn says into his comms unit, "I'm taking her to the hospital. Put the DEO on high alert. It was that shadow woman who did this. She disappeared just as I arrived."
J'onn then flies away, with the still breathing Alex in his arms.
