It will probably take them another 20 minutes or so coming from Second Young Master's place. It's windy outside today. It's best that you wait for them indoor."

"Ay, let me see if it's time to water my seedlings," said Old Mr. Gu relaxingly as he walked out of the house.
Butler Zhou smiled behind him and didn't call him out on it.
"Oh, stop following me around. Go have someone checked and see if there is anything else that needs to be picked up. And, have the kitchen prepare a few extra dishes of sweets. And don't make those out-of-date ones; make the ones that are raved about online right now," said Old Mr. Gu.
He went out side of the house by himself after he was done talking.

Gu Xi and the other arrived at the Gu's place not too long after.
The Gu's main residence was huge. The house was in the middle and surrounded by a ring of garden. As the building was old and looked to have profound heritage.
The garden surrounding it, however, gave a refreshing and delicate feeling.
Old Mr. Gu had this redone specifically for Gu Xi.

Their car drove all the way inside the garden.
They haven't even got to the front yet and Gu Xi could also see Old Mr. Gu and the others out front.
Gu Xi was a little dazed by such a grand gesture and she started getting nervous.
After the car had stopped and Gu Shao had gotten out, Gu Xi quickly got out after him and stood somewhat uncomfortably after him.
Gu Shao turned and saw Gu Xi standing slightly behind him to one side docilely with her head lowered a little.
She had always been a docile one but he had rarely seen her like this.
"Scared?" asked Gu Shao.
"No." Gu Xi looked up at Gu Shao and quickly shook her head in denial.
She had been looking forward to meeting with the rest of the Gu family but, when it was actually happening, she was nervous.
As much as she had denied it but the way she was biting down on her lower lip and how her hands were clutching tightly onto her sleeve showed her nervousness.
"Let's go." Gu Shao placed his hand on her head.
He didn't say much but the warmth coming from his hand made Gu Xi relaxed all of a sudden.
Old Mr. Gu and the others were already waiting eagerly for Gu Xi.
Gu Shao walked over to Old Mr. Gu with Gu Xi.
"Dad." He called him.
And, Old Mr. Gu ignored him completely. All he saw was his very cute granddaughter.
"Xixi, I am Grandpa." He introduced himself to her.
Even though Old Mr. Gu had gone to look at Gu Xi quite a few times behind Gu Shao's back in the past but, with her standing in front of him, Old Mr. Gu was still very emotional.
Gu Shao looked at the old man who was leaning down a little to talk to her.
Old Mr. Gu was the type with a very solemn and almost mean look. But he was now smiling as brightly as he could and doing his best to appear loving.
It looked a little out of character but Gu Xi felt a warmth in her heart.
"Hi Grandpa," said Gu Xi to Old Mr. Gu sweetly.
"Haha, good, good, good." Old Mr. Gu nodded.
Old Mr. Gu thought about how docile his granddaughter was before he finally pointed to Gu Feng and his wife, standing next to him, and introduced them to Gu Xi, "They are your Big Uncle and Aunty."
Gu Xi looked in the direction that Old Mr. Gu was pointing in and looked at Gu Feng.
Among Gu Feng, Gu Shao, and Gu Xian, Gu Shao and Gu Xian looked most similar to each other. Gu Feng's features were broader and gave a sturdier feeling.
