Sia's POV :
Only to stop dead in my track as my eyes made contact with someone I wanted to avoid at any cost
My gaze shifted to the company he had before going back to him as my heart dropped
There was a girl thousands times more prettier than me
Sitting on Justin's lap
I wanted to move my gaze. I really did. I didn't want to look at this beautiful couple in front of me. I couldn't.
It felt as if my eyes were glued. He too did not make any attempt in moving his glare . Instead looked behind me as I felt someone grab my shoulder, making me break our eye contact.
"You're shy"
I looked up to see Ashton chuckling down at me , I didn't react and looked back at Justin who had an unexplained emotion in his eyes while his face was blank but this time he was the one to turn his gaze away and look at the girl sitting on his lap sipping on her coffee while staring at nothing in particular.
I saw how he whispered something in her ears which caused her to giggle.
And yes, it wasn't some typical annoying giggle.
It was adorable. Her voice was adorable.
Heck, She was adorable
No wonder she's sitting on the lap of the finest man I've ever seen.
I had nothing against her but it was the fact that her giggle made Justin smile.
I saw him smile for the first time
And it was a view worth dying for
But then again, it was for her.
And my heart shattered.
Again
I looked down, clutching my bag tighter and making my way straight out of the cafe. Not having the guts of turning back.
I kept speed walking on the streets till I reached a bench on the side pavement.
Sitting down at it, I controlled my breathing. I was shivering while my heart was beating loudly in my chest. As if it would jump out.
Why tf does he affect me so much?
Aaaahhhhh
Taking deep breaths and rubbing my hands together I tried calming myself.
I sat on that bench for almost half an hour before I checked my watch .
6:13pm
I shot up instantly which caused me to lose a little balance but I managed. I promised Fay to be back before 6.
I hope she doesn't notice
I don't want her or Aaron to be worried about me. Then again, they don't even need to worry about me. I am a servant after all
These thoughts that kept playing in my mind as I continued walking on the streets looking down.
I didn't see where I was going. I just kept walking till I felt raindrops on me
Looking up I saw how the sky has changed it's shade into a darker one and it was now beginning to rain
"Ah God fuck me! "
I whispered yelled to myself as I began walking faster. Thinking that I could make it home before getting wet completely.
But as I began walking while looking ahead, I realised something that caused my heart to drop dead
I don't know this place
Looking around, I realised I've come to a street I've never been on before, it was comparatively much emptier.
My heart beat rose as I started walking back , I was completely drenched by now while I tried looking for the street I have come from.
No use.
It has started getting darker so almost every street looked the same. It was still not late so that was a plus point , I could ask people for help but I didn't even know the address of Aaron's house.
I never thought of asking about it.
I went to stand under a shelter as I hurriedly took my phone my out of the bag and dailed Fay's number
Out of service.
I dailed Aaron's this time
Out of service.
Gosh, I'm fucked
My eyes started to brim with tears.
Can this day got any worse?
There I stood in the rain , completely drenched. Tears flowing down my cheek while I clutched my phone in my palm as
My body Shivered. It has gotten really cold really soon.
Do I need to remind, I was in a freaking crop top.
I looked around me, the roads have cleared out probably due to the rain. No one was visible anymore.
My mind went completely blank. Probably because of the cold and all this unfortunate series of events.
I don't know how long I just stood there, silently sobbing .
Until I heard a car honk in front of me
I looked up to see a brand new black audi parked right in front of me as it continued honking as the passengers seat door opened on its own.
I looked at it confused. I was unsure if I should take the help. No matter in how much trouble I am, I can't trust any random stranger. And getting in a car with them , alone? Hell nah
So I just stood there , not knowing what to do.
My eyebrows knitted together as I saw the window shield came down .
My teary eyes went wide as they shined with hope and my heart took a relaxed sigh
Justin
He sat there. In all his Glory, looking at me with a bored expression.
He raised his eyebrows in question which caused me to instantly push myself off the wall I was leaning on and run towards the passenger seat and getting in.
As soon as I settled, he took off. Which caused me to jerk but I composed myself and turned towards him
"Thank you" I whispered
He looked at me in the eyes for a mere second before turning his attention back to the road.
He kept silent and I took that as a cue to shut up and just appreciate his help silently.
I was busy in praising and thanking him in my mind as I looked out of the window when I heard his raspy voice
"You could thank me in other ways " He said casually still not looking at me
"Um what? What do you mean? " I asked as I turned to look at him in confusion
This time he looked at me with a annoyed expression. As if I had just cracked a really unfunny joke.
"You don't need to pretend. Come on we don't have much time " He said as I saw him Unbuckling his belt from one hand while his face remained neutral as if he didn't just disrespect me in the worst way possible
"Excuse me?! " I exclaimed in disgust
I jerked forward immediately realising that he has pressed the break and now we were parked in the middle of nowhere. He undid his seat belt as he turned towards me and roughly grabbed my hand causing me to let out a shriek of pain
"Stop pretending! You might have captured my family in this little game of innocence of yours but you're not getting me. Got it?! I know you're a gold digging slut "
