A lone man standing at a gravestone.

"Why? Why this, and why over me?" One asked in a soft, tired voice. The source was unheard to anyone else but the man. Only he could hear it.

"Because, it's for the better, it's what they deserve." The man answered.

"But I don't understand why, why must the whole world pay for it?" The other asked in a sulking tone, begging for the other to give a better reason.

"Because my dear, you were my world, so I must take away theirs in return. A fair price for everything I ever dreamed to care about." The man answered, staring at the gravestone.

"I will take away their crops, their rivers, their seas, and their earth. I'll take away everything that meant nothing to me. Everything I dreamt was you, I'll destroy it all if it means they'll understand how it felt when I knew you were gone."

"You do know that won't bring me back, yes?" The other asked.

"I'm well aware, and I'm okay with that. If I must suffer, I hate to do it alone. Misery loves company."
