The Field Trip Day
Inside a bullet train
(Y/N) POV
Me: Here, Royal Flush.
Takeda: Lose again.
Maeda: What the hell, man?! Did you hide any cards in your pockets?!
Me: Unfortunately, no.
Maeda: Again!
We started another round.
As we were playing, suddenly a teacher approached us.
Teacher: Hayashi-kun, may I have a word with you?
Me: Alone or...
Teacher: No, it's not something personal, so we can talk here.
Me: Okay then, what is it about?
Teacher: You see, one of the supervising teachers is couldn't make it here. And the other teachers think it's better if we have a group of facilitators consisting of students to help them oversee the other students.
Me: I see.
Teacher: If you don't mind, can I leave this task to you?
Me: Sure.
Teacher: Thank you. Please find at least four more students to help you.
Me: Got it.
The teacher thanked me again and walked away.
Me: Okay, Takeda. We need three more people.
Takeda: Eh?
I grabbed his collar and dragged him away from our seat.
Maeda: Hey! What about the game!?
Me: We'll continue after I found enough people.
Suddenly a lot of poker cards fell off from my pocket.
Me: Crap.
Maeda: So you're really cheating!
Me: Let's go, Takeda!
Takeda: Haha, got it.
I let go of him and we quickly walked away from Maeda.
Me: We're finding one more boy and two girls.
Takeda: I see. Why don't you just choose two of the quintuplets?
Me: Since I'm close to them, and other students noticed it, I don't want to be called biased.
Takeda: I see.
Timeskip
A hotel
Lobby
(Y/N) POV
Me: Okay, so... The teachers leave mostly everything to us facilitators.
I said while standing in front of all the students.
The other facilitators were standing beside me. And Itsuki was also one of them.
The teachers just watched us from distance.
Me: Okay, firstly, you're free to go anywhere you want, but don't go too far since you'll probably get lost. Secondly, if there's anything happens please inform the facilitators first and we'll try to solve the problem. If we can't handle it, then that's where the teachers will involve. Understand for now?
All: Understood.
Me: Okay, good. And lastly, I want all the students to get the phone number of the facilitators. Female students, get the phone number of the female facilitators while male students get the phone number of the male facilitators. And female facilitators, if you two run into a problem that is hard for girls to handle, then please contact one of the male facilitators, okay?
Female Facilitators: Got it.
Me: We'll share our phone number with two male students and two female students and they'll share our number with all of you. Okay, that's it for instructions. Dismissed.
Everyone started to leave the lobby.
Itsuki: Where are you planning to go?
Me: I'm not sure actually. I'll just follow the other two.
I answered while texting the other male facilitator that I chose.
Me: I'll leave the male facilitators' phone number sharing to you, Hiroshi-kun.
Hiroshi: Sure.
Takeda:*waving* Hayashi-kun, we're ready to go!
Me: Coming!
I put my phone in my pocket and jogged towards them while waving at Itsuki.
Me: See ya later.
Itsuki:*smiles* See ya.
I stopped running beside Maeda.
Me: So... Where are we going?
Takeda: Come, follow me.
He said and started walking.
I and Maeda looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders before following Takeda.
Little Timeskip
A shrine
(Y/N) POV
Maeda:*clasps hands* The hell is this place, Takeda...?
Takeda:*clasps hands* It's a shrine where the god of scholars resides. Maeda-kun, I can't bear seeing your grades, so make sure you pray hard.
Maeda: What was that?!
Me:*done praying* Oi, shut it.
Those two started praying and I waited for them.
After they have done, we continued walking.
Me: I guess we're going to Fushimi Inari Shrine next?
Takeda: You're right. It's close by after all.
Maeda: That place with a lot of torii gates?
Me: Yep.
After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at the entrance of the shrine.
Me: How long do you it will take to arrive at the summit?
Takeda: 30 minutes maybe?
Maeda: Damn, these stairs are long.
Me:*looks at map* Well, at least we can rest when we're halfway to the summit.
Takeda: Well then, let's get going.
30 minutes later
Yotsutsuji Intersection
(Y/N) POV
Maeda:*pants* Damn...
Me: Well, I'd say it was a short journey.
I said and threw a water bottle to him.
Takeda: Let's have lunch at that shop.
Me: Right.
We started to walk to a shop that sells food.
I just bought a sweet bun while the other two bought their food.
Maeda: There are two paths.
Me:*eats bun* I'm fine with anything.
Takeda: Well, let's decide that after we were done eating. Hayashi-kun, have you received any messages from any students?
Me:*looks at my phone* Not yet. How about you?
Takeda:*looks at his phone* Nope.
Me: I wonder how the female facilitators doing?
I then heard a familiar voice.
???: Since it's already lunchtime, let's have our meal at that shop over there!
We looked in the voice direction and saw the quintuplets. Itsuki was pointing at the same shop we were resting at.
Yotsuba: Eh? (Y/N)-kun, Takeda-kun, and Maeda-kun are here too!
Me&Takeda&Maeda:*wave* Hey.
Ichika: Having lunch?
Me:*eats bun* Kind of.
Itsuki:*eats food* The stairs were so long...
Me*thought*: I'm very sure she was right there a second ago.
Miku: Tired...
Me: You know we're just halfway there, right?
Takeda:*smiles* Well let's just rest here first.
Nino: Right.
They bought some food.
Nino: Hey, (Y/N)-boo. Look here.
Me:*buns in mouth* Hmm?
I looked at her and she quickly took a selfie of me and her.
Nino:*smiles* Gotcha.
I finished eating my bun and smiled.
Me: Haha, well... While we're still at it, how about all of us take a photo together.
Ichika: That's a good idea.
Takeda: Let's ask a passerby to take our photo.
Me: Right.
I stood up and walked to a woman and asked her to take some photos of us.
She agreed and gave my phone to her.
Yotsuba: Let's do it here!
She was standing between the two torii gates of the two paths.
I and my friends walked to her and faced the woman that was holding my phone.
Woman: Say cheese.
All of us:*smiles* Cheese!
Snap.
(A/N): Just imagine I attached a photo of them smiling while showing a peace sign. (I can see how beautiful it is, to be honest).
To be continued...
