Let me tell you a story
Once upon a time, God created light
God created darkness too
And so
It is a story that has always been passed on
Generations to generations
Because it's in the Bible.
God created light; and she's called Me.
Me is a star, a big gigantic star
She's color red and nobody seems to see it
Unless you go closer to her
But she's red, really
Me glowed so intensely that
Red wasn't visible anymore
She appeared orange or yellow
To the naked eye.
Me was always there
To those who needed her
But she has her boundaries that
Make you miss her
Once she's always there
I bet you're going to despise her.
Me was taken advantage
Yes, she had her limits
But because she was so powerful and capable
Many people saw that
Me loved herself
But she also hated herself for being too competent
In love
In friendships
In family
In life
For being kind-hearted
For liking to fix and help.
Me disappeared
Me was nowhere to be found for days
Weeks
And months
Me was tired
She thought that
No one could ever genuinely love her
Because all they could see was
Advantage.
But Me came back
She was ever glowing
She was beautiful
And that's when God created
The moon
Another light
Another satellite
That glowed beside her
Even when he was far ahead
Even when he couldn't hold her hand
He loved her genuinely.
I'm Me, the sun
And you're the moon.
