In the beginning, you were easy to figure out,
But then you made things complicated,
Just look at all the problems you have created!
First, it was the numbers,
Then you started having problems with your x,
You just couldn’t keep things simple,
You had to get with the whole freaking alphabet!
Then you started graphing,
You even got with pi!
Then out came the shapes,
And your problems just multiplied,
And oh what did you do next?
You added it all up,
And then you decided,
One subject just wasn’t enough,
So you took over science!
Said you and the atoms had chemistry,
Then you calculated with the elements,
And made your mark in their history,
We might not have disliked you,
If you hadn’t forced your problems upon us,
You should have just stuck with the numbers,
And not have experimented with the other stuff.
