Codys perspective
I opened my eyes and was met with tree leaves. Slowly I sat up, "ow." I winced in pain. My back was on fire and it felt like my skin was being ripped open.
'I thought you couldn't feel pain when you're dead.' Suddenly I felt a presence so strong it was hard to breath.
I looked around the garden searching for something or someone. "Come here often?" I squeaked and turned. Behind me was a demon. Though he looked like the king of the Underworld. I shook my head looking down at the ground unable to hold his stare.
"You don't belong here, do you?" I looked up finally noticing how warm his eyes were and how laxed his wings were positioned.
I gulped and stood up, "my name is Cody." I said and received an eye roll. "Yes, I know that but, you can call me Danté." He laughed warmly. "So how did you die?"
I felt my wings sink to the ground, my chest becoming tight while my eyes started to burn slightly. "I died trying to win over a Divine Team." I choked out. Danté 'hmmed'.
During my depression, the pain began to intensify, sending me to the ground screaming in pain. I could feel it, my flesh begining to tear. 'Something's moving inside of me.' "Gahhhh!"
Danté's perspective
The blood curling scream made me tingle with excitement and shock. 'No, this is different. This boy doesn't belong here. He's going to become a Demi God and at the wrong hands.' I thought to myself watching the child squirm, clawing at his back.
"Ah, who knew he'd get his Godly Wings so early by just by being in Heaven." The Holy God strode up with an ear splitting smile.
"What is the meaning of this?" I yelled to my friend gesturing at the child. He stopped smiling and looked at me with cold, empty eyes.
"It's exactly what it looks like. I am going to help create a Demi God and teach him how to use his powers. Then I'm giving him to Nick so that we can enslave man kind." He chuckled. I was at a lost for words.
"B-But why?" He walked over to the child. "Because I'm sick of being the good guy and I tire of taking the burden of humans. They always complain and push their problems onto me. Why can't they just walk on their own feet for once?" He sighed bending down and rubbing Cody's back.
"You're God." I could only say. "And you're the Devil. Would you like to join my side? It' beneficial to the both of us." He asked. 'What'll happen... if I say no?'
"Gahhhh!!!! Stop!!!!" An ear splitting cry made me jump. God had literally pulled Cody's second set of wings straight out of his back. Blood staining his white wings. The child screamed in pain, digging at the ground.
"Stop this!" I took a step forwards but was halted by a finger pointing in my direction.
"Danté, you don't want to become my enemy again do you?" I glared at him.
"Perhaps you've forgotten. We were born enemy's." I growled drawing out a Demon Portal as God chanted a mantra summoning his Holy Armor. "From this point on. You are forever banned from Heaven! Danté."
Suddenly pure white chains shot out of the ground curling around my body and trapping my wings. Sizzling and crackling followed making me cringe. "You've lost your touch Danté." God said flying towards me with a long golden spear.
"In all that is unholy, I summon the hell hounds which can cross any boundary, come to thee, now!" I yelled. The ground began to open up revealing giant dogs crawling out from the pits of Hell. Their ravenous body's incheing closer to God, snapping at anything their large jaws could get a hold of, giving me time to escape the Holy Chains. 'Lucas, hurry up.'
The chains snapped releasing me and I took to the air, charging at God.
Cody's perspective.
'My body is numb, I can't move. I hear the clashing of steel and snarling dogs. What's happening.' I thought until my eyes widened in horror. I could feel another set of wings on my back. 'W-what's happening to me?' I cried.
"Lucas!" I cried out hopping he would find me and fly me away from this Hell.
Danté's Perspective
Cody screamed his older brothers name halting my actions. "Your brother won't be coming child because you belong to me now." God sneared striking my blade with his. Quickly I used my tail and sliced at one of his wings.
"You bastard, how dare you scratch me." He growled.
Suddenly the back of my neck hairs stood on end and my wings tingled. Instincts drove me next to the boy abandoning the fight and it was a good thing too.
A lightning storm erupted shattering pieces of Eden into disenigrated shreds. The lighting rushed around us but the larger bolts struck at God, though they were only deflected by a barrier.
Through the smoke and bits of Eden rising up, Lucas stepped out from the shadows. Every fiber of my body told me to run right there and then but I knew he wouldn't harm me.
An Arc Angel can kill a demon or Devil by the sheer amount of power bestowed on them from the TrueGod. It's ironic how that power is going against a God.
Lucas looked pissed and frightning. He was clad in dark gray armor embroidered with silver. In his left hand, he wielded a long sleek sword. It was black telling onlookers that it could slice you apart with a flick.
What striked me were his eyes, through his helmet the blue rimmed crimson eyes sent a tremor of fear through me.
"Oh my. Seems like my little pet discovered his Arc Angel name." God frowned, point the spear at Lucas.
Thousands of golden chains shot out of Heavenly portals, trailing to the halfbreed. 'Wha.. why ain't he moving?'
Quickly I flicked my wrist summoning my own chains and both unholy and holy bindings clashed into each other.
Lucas glared at my direction and I watched as everything broke inside of him.
Lucas perspective.
'Cody.....' I saw my little brother laying on the ground, a pained expression on his face. His white robes were bloodied beyond repair. Then I saw the second set of wings resting behind him. The white feathers now crimson. 'They were pulled out?'
I looked to God angrily, seeing his own bloody hands made me snap. "You fucking bastard. You're the one who forcibly pulled his wings out, weren't you?" I growled, lightning starting to spark around me. My grip tightening on the hilt of the sword.
"Mmmm, yes and I'd have to say I enjoyed it." He twirled the spear, bits of Eden continued to erode away leaving a black nothingness.
"I bet the day will come when he will kill you. You're own little brother and then the whole world will be mine." Anger washed over me. "Humans will be my slave and angels shall be my pawns! And you Lucas! I'll force you to watch everything!" He yelled, laughing like a mad man.
"The child will be a Demi God who releases destruction upon earth. Then I'll kill the True God!"
"You're mad! No longer are you a God of Humanity, but a God who's fallen from all that's Holy!" Danté yelled. He was currently trying to hide Cody's body in hopes to get far enough from the battle unseen.
God just sneared, more Heavenly Portals appearing around him. 'This power that I possess. This is for Cody.'
"In all that is Holy, I, Baltazar. Protector of Kings. Here by proclaim your deeds an unjustly ruling of Heaven and Earth. With the power bestowed upon me from the True God, I now release you from your title and here by condem you for all eternity in the deepest pits of Hell!" I yelled, letting my sword point to God. "Come meet my blade and fight!"
Danté's perspective.
Lucas yelled sending bolts of lightning trailing the ground leaving black scars behind in its wake. Thunder clapped and Heaven seemed to shake with his proclamation.
The two flew upwards, steel clashing against steel.
"I summon upon Heaven's spears, come do my bidding and pierce this evil that threatens God's Kingdom."
Long golden rods shot down from the sky in torrents. "Barrier!" I put a hand up using my power to deflect the rods from hitting the boy. 'Jesus Christ! How many are there? It's been forever since I went against God. Have I really grown this weak?'
I looked back at Lucas when the wave of attack ended. His wings were bloodied but it seemed like his armor did its job of protecting him. 'Does he really intend on killing God? Is it even possible to survive his power and might?'
"Hahahaha! Tell me Lucas, or shall I say Baltazar. Remember you are part demon, and in Heaven territory, you are nothing but a pathetic imp." God flew forwards, his four wings straight behind him. They shone like the suns morning rays. 'Wait! I know this move!'
"Lucas watch out!" I roared, but it was to late.
Lucas perspective
God came at me full charge. "Lucas watch out!" Danté screamed and suddenly I found out why.
Our weapons clashed but the tips of his four wings piercing into my sides. "W-What the Hell?" It didn't feel like feathers, but like thousands of needles.
"Pathetic.." he pulled his wings out of me, hot blood sliding down my skin underneath my armor. Quickly I pumped my wings to get further away from him but his attacks just kept coming at me. "ngh!"
"I..I wont let you separate me from my family again!" I opened my defense letting God's spear stab me in the chest and in return my own sword going through his heart.
"Y-you bastard..." he choked out.
"Your rain ends here."
"We shall see." I frowned at his comment and gripped the hilt tighter sending electrical currents through him with all my power.
In the blink of an eye He discenigrated into a white dust. 'It just can't be that simple could it?' I thought slowly sinking towards the ground.
Cody's perspective.
"Now that I am released from my duties in Heaven. I will come for you again boy. When you least expect it."
"Cody, wake up." I heard Lucas's voice.
