At around 2am
Karan was unable to sleep due to the day's events. He was extremely guilty of his actions and words. He went to the terrace to have some fresh air. He had just entered the terrace when he heard someone sobbing.
Karan: (in mind) yeh aawaaz.. Yeh aawaaz to... Monami?
He goes to the other side of the terrace and sees monami, sitting with a photo frame in her hand. It was the photo of her late parents.
Karan was so much shaken seeing her condition. One could easily tell just by looking at her that she has been crying since a long. And the worst part - She is still crying. Karan felt guilty but couldn't decide what to do. He hence turned around to leave but stopped hearing to monami's voice.
Mo: (in a sad tone) Papa... Mumma.. Aapko pata hai.. Bachpan se na.. Aapke jaane ke baad se.. Yahan kisine bhi mujhe aapki yaad nahi aane di.. Aapko to pata hai na.. Kaise me roz aapke photo se baat karti thi.. Phir dheere dheere roz nahi, sirf kabhi kabhi baat karne lagi.. Pata hai kyun? Kyunki yahan kabhi aisa nahi laga jaise me kisi aur ke ghar me hoon... Sooraj uncle aur Gayatri aunty (PARAM AND KARAN'S PARENTS) ne kabhi param bhaiya, karan aur mere beech farak nahi kiya.. Aur pata hai, mujhe to kehte the ki me unki beti hoon.. Aur wo khadoos... Mera matlab.. Karan.. Wo to kitna jalta tha mujhse (she said this slightly smiling).
Karan was listening to all this and went into flashbacks.
K: Kya yaal monu, hamesha meli chocolate khaa leti..
Mo: Alle alle.. Chhota bacha ro raha😂 tumhe kichhne kaha tha meli ice cream khaane ko
K: Arre pal tumhein bukhal tha. Tum ice cream khaati to aise aaachhoo aaachhoo karke chhinkti
Mo: Jhoot. Tumne meli icecream ichhiliye khaai kyunki tumhali icecream pighal gayi thi.. Ichhiliye me yeh chocolate khaaungi..
Gayatri: Arre kyun jhagada karrahe ho dono.. Karan, beta me tere liye baad me chocolate le aaungi.. Abhi meri beti ko khaane de.. Wo chhoti hai na tujhse.
K: Koi chhoti nahi hai mumma.. Sirf ek saal late paida hui..
Gayatri: Karan.. Mene kaha na.. Me le aaungi tere liye ek nayi chocolate.. Yeh wala usse khaane de..
Monu was making faces teasing karan😛😛
K: huh.. Mujhe to yeh doubt hota ki aap meli mumma ho bhi ya nahi.. Meli koi value hi nahi hai iss ghar me..
And he made a sad pout..
Mo: oofoo khaloos.. Yeh lo.. (she breaks the chocolate in half) yeh tumhala aul yeh mela.. Ok? Chalo ab hachho..
And they shared the chocolate and were laughing. Gayatri was adoring their bond.
Karan smiled thinking about those days. He continued listening to monami.
Mo: Hum sab ek saath school jaate the.. Karan to pure school ko dhamkata tha.. Taaki koi mujhe pareshan naa kare... Param bhaiya bhi... Uncle ne to mujhe support kiya... Mujhe doctor banaya... Barkha bhabhi aayi.. Mujhe na bilkul apni chhoti behen jaise pyaar karti hai wo... Aur baby.. Ekdum natkhat si.. Din bhar dr girl dr girl bolke thak ti hi nahi..
She now had tears in her eyes..
Mo: uske baad jo hua. Wo to aap dono ne dekha tha na... Meri koi galti nahi thi maa.. Sachi papa.. Meri koi galti nahi thi.. Par karan.. (her voice cracked) Karan ko .... Aisa lagta ki.. Meri wajah se kavya ko goli lagi aur wo..😭..
Karan couldnt understand what he should do. Whom to believe??
Mo: (after taking a pause) mujhe pata tha maa.. Ki karan mujhe uske baad se pasand nahi karta.. Jaanti hoon... Usne jo dekha.. Uski jagah agar me hoti.... To me bhi wahi karti... Par mujhe nahi pata tha... Ki karan to mujhe apni family.😭😭😭 family bhi nahi.. Nahi maanta😭😭
Karan felt like someone pierced a dagger through his heart. He didnt know why..
Mo: Life me aaj pehli baar itne saalon baad akela mehsoos horaha maa... Aisa lagraha.. Jaise sabka saath hote hue bhi akeli hoon...😭😭😭 aap dono kyun chale gaye mumma papa😭 kya me itni buri hoon ki aap mujhe chhodke chale gaye😭😭😭 aur agar jaana hi tha.. To mujhe bhi le jaate apne saath😭😭 mujhe kyun chhoda yahan akele...😭😭 pata hai... Aaj bohut man karraha.. Kisiko zor se gale lagau.. Man bhar ke ro lun.. Par kiske kandho pe roun... Hamesha kandha dene wale ko to aansoo nahi dikhte.. Baaki sab ko pareshan nahi karna chahti me😢😢
She tried to speak between her sobs.. Karan couldn't control his tears.. He wanted to scream and hug monami as tightly as he could. He closed his mouth and cried so monami couldn't hear.
Mo: Aapko pata hai.. Uss gadhe... Gadhe ne.. Apni... Apni jaan le..lene ki ... Koshish kari.. Kya me.. Kya me itni..itni buri hoon.. Jis se pyaar karun... Wo chho..chhodke jaana chahta.. Pyaar karti hoon me uss se.. Nahi.. Nahi dekh sakti..us..usko aise... Takleef me.. Par...par me kuchh nahi karpaarahi...
Karan ke pairon tale zameen khisakne wali baat thi yeh..
K: (in mind) Mo..monami mujhse...pyaar karti hai..
"tum chahe kitna bhi usse dard do, wo sirf tumhein pyaar degi"

Monami kissed on the photo.
Mo: Good night mumma... Good night papa... Aapko aur disturb nahi karungi.. Bas itna request karungi.. Mujhe bhi bula lo apne paas.. Jaldi se😢 ...
And she hugged the photo..
This was the limit for karan. He ran down to his room.. Everything what monami said was replaying in his mind..
K: Yeh kya kiya tune Karan.. Kyun kiya tune aisa.. Jisne kabhi tera bura nahi chaha.. Jisne teri ek smile ke liye hamesha itne attempts karti rahi.. Tune... Tune usko.. Usko aise hurt kiya.. Itna ki.. Ki wo jeena hi nahi chahti... Aaaaaa😖😖😖 (and he pulled his hair in frustration)

Barkha: Baby wo dono busy hai.. Aap chalo jaldi..
Barkha and baby left after sometime..
Param: Faizi.. Kahan hai wo.. Phone kar usse.. Aur uss nalayak ko bhi bula de... Aur monu ko bhi..
Someone at the door: Bhaiya..
Param: Aagaya tu.. Kabse wait karrahe the..
So: Mamla zyaada serious hai kya.. Wo dono kahan hai..
Faizi: Hum bula ke laate..
Faizi called moran. Both came down.. Karan looked at monami. She still looked exhausted after crying so much.. To his surprise, monami didn't even looked at him once..
Mo: TUM! Yahan..
Karan looked at the sofa where the person was sitting. He fisted his hand in anger. The person shook his head.
Mo: Tum aaj yahan kaise..
Param: Mene bulaya hai usse.. Shivam.. Jo records mangwaye the.. Wo milgaye?
(so he was shivam)
Shivam: Ji bhaiya.. Yeh rahe..
He forwarded the files to Param.
Param gave the files to faizi who then gave it to Karan. Karan was hurt but he composed himself.. He thought that he deserved this.
Shivam: files dekhlo karan.. I know tumhein mujhpe ya monami pe bharosa nahi hoga.. Isiliye ek mahine se yeh records dhundrahe the.. No idea kaise yeh destroy hogaye the.. Par bohut koshish karne ke baad finally milgaye..
Mo: Par shivam uss din me aur faizi bhi to yahi lene aaye the.. Tumne hume to diya nahi.
S: Monami wo proofs aadhe the.. Kal raat ko Param Bhaiya ne call karke yeh sab urgently dhudne ko kaha.. To me bina soye yeh sab dhundne bethgaya😩 ek cup coffee banade yaar.. Neend aarahi khatarnaak wali😂
Param glared at him. He gulped.
S: Nahi.. Mera mtlb pehle karan tum yeh proofs dekhlo.. Phir ...
Param: Agar yeh dekhkar bhi kisiko doubt hai ki uss case me monami ne laparwaahi ki thi to wo apne opinions apne paas rakhe..
He said these indicating to karan. Karan opened the file, went through all the details and was shocked😶 he now knew that he was in such a huge misunderstanding.

It was 7 days prior to Karya's wedding. Kavya's father was seriously ill. He was diabetic. Monami and Shivam were handling his case (Well both were kavya's family friends) Everything was going well..

Shivam's voice cracked. Monami checked the prescription and was shocked. Though it was written by her, she was sure it wasn't the same what she had prescribed. But she couldnt speak anything..

Kavya: SHUT UP.. JUST SHUT UP.. TUMHARI MEDICAL NEGLIGANCE KE WAJAH SE.. AAJ PAPA.. PAPA😭😭😭 YOU KILLED HER.. YOU ARE A MURDERED MONAMI MAHAJAN.
Shivam: KAVYA.. MAANA TUM ABHI APNE HOSH ME NAHI HO... PAR DO YOU GET WHAT U ARE SAYING.. Dekho i know this is a huge loss for you par i know monami.. Wo aisa nahi karsakti.. She is a great doctor.. Wo apne patients ke saath aisa nahi karsakti...
Monami and Shivam tried to explain Kavya but she was not listening.. While all these was happening, Karan couldn't say a word.. He shouted..
Karan: ENOUGH!!!
Monami thought that Karan would explain Kavya that it was a misunderstanding.. But to her surprise...

K: Bcoz tum nahi chahti thi yeh shaadi ho.. Tum nahi chahti thi kavya aur meri shaadi ho.. Tum nahi chahti thi.. KYUNKI TUM JALTI THI KAVYA SE.. USNE SAB BATA DIYA THA MUJHE.. ME HI BEWAKOOF THA JO USKA BHAROSA NAHI KIYA.. PAR TUMNE APNE RANG DIKHADIYE.. jab shaadi rok nahi paayi to yeh sab kiya..
That was it.. Monami slapped Karan.. She couldn't believe Karan spoke all that. And the fact ki Kavya ne uske kaan bhare the.. It was another shock attack for not only monami but also shivam...
Mo: Tum aisa soch bhi kaise sakte ho karan.. Gharwalo ko mene manaya tumhare shaadi ke liye.. Param bhaiya se lad gayi me tumhari khushi ke liye aur tumne.. Tum kavya ki baaton me aake yeh sab pe bharosa karoge yeh mene kabhi nahi socha tha😭😭😭
Karan was going to reply to her when they suddenly heard a gun shot.
Kavya: I....I lo...love....u...ka..ran
