As I drift into sleep, I cannot let go. I open Spotify or YouTube and listen to a Podcast. I cannot go to sleep without background noises. I don't want to be alone. I'm afraid of the sound I'll find if I grant my mind silence. 

Night brings a certain kind of feeling. Night is when my memory turns against me. The past flashes on my mind, right next to the terrifying future scenarios.
