A/N: I don't know what to say😂😂

I googled 'Su-hyeok' to maybe make a new cover for the story, but I literally found the present cover picture edited by me there. After I clicked the link to see if anyone had used it without asking me, it lead to my Story.

...

Also this story has passed 200k and I'm really happy you like the story so far <33

But now... on to the story!!

"What does SOS mean?" Dae-su asked.

"It's a distress signal. Short for Save our souls. It's English" I sighed.

"Really? How do you know so much?"

I chuckled.

"I don't know... Isn't it basic knowledge?"

Dae-su leaned back against the wall.

"So you're calling me dumb?"

"What? No... I... ugh" I laughed as he did too.

"I don't believe you. It has to mean something like... speed of save?"

"Dae-su. No. Just no."

"I'm gonna prove you wrong. You can't be right all the time." He had determination in his eyes.

I rolled my eyes chuckling, as Dae-su yelled:

"HEY PREZ!"

Then he went over to Nam-ra and asked her the same question.

"But SOS doesn't mean anything?" On-jo said.

"No it does mean save our souls. Why are you all trying to say that I'm wrong?" I asked.

"Nevermind. The sun's setting. Let's start a fire."

***

As the others tried figuring out, how to make a fire, I sat by the door.

I heard snarling on the other side.

I thought of the events today as I watched the sunset.

The thought of Gwi-nam came to my head again.

"What do you want from me, Gwi-nam?" I asked myself, loudly, but quiet enough, so that the others didn't hear me.

Still, Nam-ra snapped her head towards my direction.

I looked down at my hands as I thought of everything.

Then I felt the urge to stand up, so I did.

Instead of walking to the others, I leaned onto the wall of the rooftop, looking at the area below the school, that was full of zombies.

Gazing at the sunset, I tried forgetting the zombies for once.

I looked up into the sky.

There, everything still seemed normal.

As if it was just another normal day.

I turned around to the others, when I heard Nam-ra yell.

"Hey!"

She held out a lighter.

"Just use this"

Nobody knew what to say.

"Well, I smoke sometimes"

My eyebrows raised, as I hadn't known that about her.

"You had it this whole time" Wu-jin whispered.

But nobody took the lighter from Nam-ra.

"You don't want it?" She asked.

Immediately after, Su-hyeok leaned over to her, grabbing the lighter from her hand.

"Light it" Dae-su told him.

***

I was leaning my head on Su-hyeok's shoulder as I looked at the fire they had made.

We were all sitting in a circle around it and Su-hyeok had his arm wrapped around my shoulder.

I was sitting in between him and Wu-jin.

On-jo and Nam-ra had blankets they had found here and even though Su-hyeok was desperate for me and him to share another one, I wasn't cold, so I didn't accept the offer.

Although now, as it was getting colder and colder I regretted my choice and my bare legs were not helping.

I started shivering and also rubbed my arms to make myself warmer.

Su-hyeok must have noticed my actions, since he started pulling off his jacket.

He handed it to me.

"Here. You need it more than I do"

I smiled.

"Thanks"

Then I placed his jacket on my legs before he stood up.

He quickly ran to grab the last blanket and when he sat down beside me again, he wrapped it around my shoulders.

He wanted to give me the whole blanket, but I held up the edge of the blanket, signalling for him to share it with me.

He chuckled lightly, before letting me wrap it around his shoulders too.

After this he wrapped both of his arms around me, making me warmer.

I smiled, closing my eyes as I let my head rest on his chest while his resided on top of my head.

"Hey Dae-su" Su-hyeok suddenly broke the calm silence.

"Yeah?"

"How was your audition?"

Dae-su scoffed.

"They said I have to lose weight"

I rolled my eyes.

Shouldn't it actually only matter if you have a good voice?

Su-hyeok chuckled.

"Well, you're a good singer" He stated.

"Yeah. Sing for us, I wanna hear it" Su-hyeok continued.

"Just forget about it. I don't want to" Dae-su sighed.

"I actually really like that song." Joon-yeong said, slightly smiling.

"Is that so?" Dae-su straightened up.

"Mhm, yeah" Joon-yeong told him.

"Really?" Dae-su asked again.

"It's really nice" I added.

Dae-su smiled brightly, clearing his throat.

"You sing well" Su-hyeok nodded.

"It'll cheer us up" Wu-jin said.

Being convinced now, Dae-su started singing in his beautiful, soothing voice.

I listened to the song and felt safe for the first time in a while.

Soon, Ji-min joined in and sang with Dae-su, who smiled at her when she started.

One after another, the others started joining in as well.

I saw Su-hyeok smile at me before he joined in as well.

The only ones not singing were me, On-jo and Nam-ra, since we just enjoyed the moment.

In the instrument room

Na-yeon was sitting in the locked instrument room after having salvaged the camera from the music room.

She was smiling at the recording of Dae-su, who was singing about food.

As the recording continued, Na-yeon stood up and started packing food and drinks into a bag.

She really wanted to help them for once, so she decided to bring food, knowing that they were on the roof.

As the recording continued, it came to Y/n's recording.

"Mom, dad."

"I....I miss the two of you."

"I know that I don't say this often, but want to tell you that I love you and...I..."

"Gyeong-su didn't make it"

Na-yeon froze, looking at the girl's face as a tear slipped from Y/n's eye.

"I hope I'll see him someday again."

Na-yeon quickly shook her head and went back to putting food into the bag until Cheong-san's recording came up as well.

"...You're the only person I can tell"

"Gyeong-su's dead, mom."

Na-yeon stopped once again.

"Because I called him over"

"I did it in case he'd bite the others, but..."

"It's my fault he died, you know?"

"He's living with his grandma, since his parents are sick and he was supposed to move in with Y/n next week, so tell his grandma on my behalf."

"Put it gently, so she doesn't get...too upset"

"Gyeong-su wanted to work at our restaurant, remember?"

"But I told him no, because he'd try to eat free chicken every day."

"I should have just let him do it"

Na-yeon saw, that Cheong-san had started crying.

Then the camera turned off because of low battery as a tear of regret slipped from Na-yeon's eye.

Y/n's p.o.v.

"It was such a nice song" Hyo-ryeong smiled.

"Didn't you say, that I sucked?" Dae-su asked.

"Well, now that I actually listened to it, I think it's kind of nice"

"That was encouraging, Dae-su" Wu-jin admitted.

Then I started listening in on the conversation that On-jo and Nam-ra were having.

"How long... have you been smoking for?"

"Since eighth grade. I had no friends and a lot of stress back then."

"Did you ever need a friend, though?" On-jo asked, making Nam-ra's eyes immediately dart to me.

"I'm not sure, but I like having one" She smiled lightly.

"You always put up a wall" On-jo said.

"You'd wear your headphones all day, and you never said anything to anyone but Y/n. Wasn't it because you hated the rest of us?"

Everyone waited for her response quietly.

"I never hated you guys" Nam-ra admitted.

"I just... didn't have any close friends. I mean, Y/n was just a normal friend and it was my fault, since I never opened up to her."

"Well... I never really liked you" Hyo-ryeong admitted.

"I thought you didn't talk to us, because we were beneath you. Except for Y/n. I thought you only considered her to be on your level."

"I kind of hated you" Joon-yeong spoke up, looking down.

"There were times that I wished you'd just disappear"

"Aren't you close? You're the top two students." Ji-min asked Joon-yeong.

"That's why I hated her. No matter how hard I worked, I was always second. "

"But it's okay now" He said, looking up.

"I think I was able to come in second, because of Nam-ra."

Dae-su frowned.

"Hey. Second's good too" He told Joon-yeong, trying to cheer him up a bit.

"I can't even be 20th, right?"

He turned to Su-hyeok, who let go of my shoulder to fist bump Dae-su.

"Hey" Hyo-ryeong slapped Dae-su's shoulder lightly.

"Don't compare yourself to Joon-yeong"

"I was just saying. Why do you always get on my case whenever I say something?"

He tilted his head.

"Wait a second. Do you like me?"

Hyo-ryeong slapped his shoulder again, but this time much harder.

"Shut up, you moron!"

Joon-yeong chuckled.

I felt Su-hyeok wrap his arm around me again.

"I'm going to put it out there, so you don't get hurt" Dae-su started.

"I like somebody else. So don't like me."

"I don't like you!" Hyo-ryeong hit him once again.

"I'm not interested in you at all."

Dae-su held his shoulder.

"Dae-su. Who do you like, then?" Joon-yeong questioned.

Wu-jin raised his finger and pointed it at Dae-su as he stuttered:

"He's... he's a total freak."

"Wait." Su-hyeok spoke up.

"You better not like N/n"

"What?" Dae-su was confused.

"Wait, you like Y/n?" Cheong-san asked.

"What? No, no. I swear I don't" He frantically said, seeing Su-hyeok's glare.

"My sister" Wu-jin sighed.

"Ha-ri from Archery?" I asked.

"You're insane" Ji-min chuckled.

"I go crazy when I'm in love" Dae-su sighed.

"She's like my little Cupid"

I chuckled as I saw Nam-ra smile.

Wu-jin laughed worriedly.

"Stop it. If we get out of here alive, I'm gonna tell my sister."

Dae-su's smile vanished and he turned serious.

"Will you really tell her?"

"Yeah"

"What?"

Dae-su grabbed Wu-jin's arm, reaching over me and Su-hyeok.

"To shoot and kill you. I said not to like my sister."

"You can't do that to me, future brother-in-law"

Dae-su pulled Wu-jin even closer, as Su-hyeok pulled me back, to lay down on the floor and to not get between them.

"Hey!" Wu-jin protested.

"Will you tell her? Promise?"

"Yeah. To kill you"

"Stop it, seriously. I love her"

Wu-jin groaned as I laughed, still laying on the ground by Su-hyeok, who was chuckling the same way I was.
