Note: I DO NOT own The Owl House or Marvel Comics so don't report me, this is for entertainment purposes only.
Also, I should let you know that this chapter will be based on The Owl House Season 2, Episode 9.
The difference in episode 7 is that Carnage's powers allows Eda to prevent Raine from being captured by Kikimora.
Episode 8 is mostly the same as in canon, the difference being that Luz and Amity are on a date while Hooty tries to help Eda and King.
With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Within the Emperor's castle, Belos was working inspecting a machine his men had been building for some time now. It seemed to be in order, though it was missing an important element.
He then paused upon noticing he wasn't alone in the room.
Emperor Belos: Would you like to see how it works, Hunter?
He asks, Hunter gasping in surprise before hiding the little red bird palisman in his pocket before revealing himself.
Hunter: I didn't mean to hide, Emperor Belos.
He said as the emperor faces the teen with a smile on his face without his mask on.
Hunter: This machine, can it really take us to the human realm?
Emperor Belos: Indeed. Or atleast it will, given time.
Hunter: Is it true that rain doesn't boil in the human realm?
Emperor Belos: It is. You know, I've been there before. Did I ever tell you that?
He asked, to which Hunter shook his head.
Emperor Belos: The trees there are green. Nights are quiet. I look forward to seeing it again. We're you spying on me just to hear these boring stories?
He asks, still with a genuine smile on his face.
Hunter: . . . The operation at the Knee. Why did you switch me out with Kikimora?
Emperor Belos: Everyone has a use, Hunter. Kikimora has her intricate little plans. The scouts carry out orders. And you, well, the Titan has big plans for you and it would be such a hassle to find a replacement. So, right now, you can be useful by staying safe in the castle.
He says while escorting him to the doorway.
Hunter: If this is punishment for failing my last mission, I swear I can do better.
He said as Belos continued to smile at the teen.
Emperor Belos: Good night, Hunter.
He says before closing the door, to which the teen runs off down the hall. He knows he can do better, he will get the portal and key if it's the last thing he does.
Meanwhile, Belos exited the room and enters his chambers.
He then took at the vials containing the symbiotes, only to see that 4 of the vials were empty.
Belos couldn't help but let out a growl, his eyes narrowing upon the empty vials.
We now cut to the very next day at the owl house as Amity, Willow, Gus having spent the night at a sleepover and were currently hanging out in Luz and Venom's room along with King.
Amity: So let me get this straight, Luz has the common mold yet she's fine?
Venom: Yup.
Amity: Luz, even if you don't have symptoms, I think you should lie down and rest.
Luz: Don't worry, Amity. Venom's preventing my mold from getting serious. She's pretty much my own personal back-up immune system.
Venom: Yeah, don't be such a worrywart. We Klyntars will do anything to keep our hosts alive.
Willow: Got to admit, Amity, seeing you around more often is different.
Amity: I know. But I was taught to see every situation as an opportunity.
Venom: 'Cause you wanna show Luz that you're an awesome girlfriend, right?
The symbiote teased, making Amity blush.
Luz: Aww, don't be embarrassed, Ami.
The human says, wrapping an arm around Amity's shoulder, pulling her close and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Amity's face immediately turned red as a tomato while Venom gives the young witch a smirk.
Note: Kinda like this.
King: Feels like just a few months ago you almost got her dissected by your crazy principal.
Gus: That actually was a few months ago.
Amity: Can we please not bring that up?
She says, embarrassed by her first meeting with Luz.
Luz: I forgave you a long time ago, Ami. Don't worry.
She says before she noticed the Echo Mouse starting to glow, the teen gasping.
Luz: Mouse! Philip's diary!
She says before lights similar to that of an old school movie projector showed images.
Philip Wittebane: After five years, I have finally found it. A power source so potent it can pierce through realms. Titan's Blood. There are old tales of lakes reflecting green trees and blue skies. The Titan's veins run through the land. And many believe that these wild portals are created when a little of it's blood leaks into the water. That is how I came here. So that is the first place I shall look. I will journey back to Eclipse Lake.
He says before the images stopped and disappeared, the Echo Mouse's eyes no longer glowing.
Luz: Guys? I think we should go to Eclipse Lake.
She says before exiting the room and telling Eda & Carnage about Eclipse Lake.
Eda: Titan's Blood in Eclipse Lake? Yeah, we should definitely go.
Amity: But why? You still have the portal for Luz to go back to her world, right?
Eda: Yes, but Belos wanted my portal. I don't know why, but my guess is he wants to go to the human realm for some reason.
Carnage: So obviously we can't take any chances in letting that jerk face get his hands on that titan blood!
Luz: Please, guys? You'd all be a big help.
Venom: Yeah! Besides, I'm bored and I crave for some action.
King: Like you even need to ask me.
Willow: I'd go with you, but . . . I promised my dads I'd be home before noon.
Gus: Same here. I don't wanna get in trouble with my dad again.
Amity: I'm in.
Luz: Are you sure, Amity? Won't your mom get mad if you're home late?
Amity: I don't care.
Eda: Then put on your coats, we're going to the Knee. Hooty, hold the fort while we're gone.
Hooty: Yes, ma'am!
He says before Willow & Gus said their goodbyes before leaving while the rest all dress warmly before heading out to the Knee, following a map Luz had drawn of one of the images from the Echo Mouse.
They find themselves walking along a path with a bunch of tools scattered across.
King: This place is crawling with tools. What gives?
Eda: Titan Blood is the most powerful source of magic on the isles and it create portals to other realms, were you not paying attention?
She asks as someone wearing an emperor's coven uniform and mask had suddenly fallen right in front of them.
Amity: A coven scout!
She yelled as everyone readied themselves for a fight.
Scout: Uh . . . yes. I am but a humble scout and I surrender.
King: Well, that was easy.
Eda: Not so fast, King.
Carnage: Yeah, don't ya recognize that annoying voice?
Scout: . . . Why does everyone say that?
He says before making a run for it only for Venom to catch him with black tendrils, the scout fell to the ground with his mask falling off, his face revealed to be that of Hunter.
Carnage: Well, well, well. Look what we got here, the Golden Cu-
Luz & Venom: Carnage!!
Carnage: Shut up! He called me ugly!
Hunter: I did no such thing!
Carnage: And he's lying about it! Imma eat ya, blondie!
Eda: Not so fast, partner. I refuse to become a cannibal.
Carnage: What?! Man, you're no fun!
Luz: Let's just get to Eclipse Lake.
She says before they made their way to their destination only to see Kikimora along with a dozen coven scouts and a couple of Abomatons.
Venom: I've been wanting to eat that little bird woman for a long time now.
Luz: How about we just find another way in and only fight as a last resort?
Venom: Oh, okay.
Carnage: Wuss.
Venom: Who's a wuss!!!?!
Carnage: Nobody, mom!
Venom: Yeah, that's what I thought.
They said before going around as Venom & Carnage busted their way in through the rocks.
Carnage: Have I ever mentioned how much I love being a Klyntar?
Venom: You can stand to mention it a little more.
The symbiotes said as everyone entered, with Hunter still restrained by Venom's tendrils.
Hunter: You can put your staff down, I won't run.
He said as Amity aimed her staff at him.
Amity: Too bad. I don't trust you.
She said as Eda approached what looked like a drill.
Carnage: Say, Eda, let's use this thing on you. Maybe the adrenaline will kick in, and bam! Harpy Eda!
Eda: Heck yeah! Let's do it!
Venom: Oh boy.
Luz: Are you guys sure about this?
Carnage: Don't worry, kid, she's wearing a helmet.
Venom: That's a hat.
Carnage: Not now, mom!
The red symbiote says before using a red tendril to activate the drill.
Hunter: Wait, don't!
He yells as a bean of magic is fired, missing Eda and bouncing off the walls before making it's way to Amity.
Venom quickly shielding the young witch and taking the hit.
Luz: Venom, you okay?!
Venom: Yeah, good thing it wasn't fire.
Hunter: Are you people idiots!? This isn't a normal cave! These walls are made from the veins of the Titan! Any magic you shoot will bounce right back at you!
Carnage: Ooh la la, you definitely won't be forever alone.
The symbiote said sarcastically before they all started exploring the cave.
Venom then let out a chuckle as Luz raised an eyebrow.
Luz: Venom?
Venom: Hehe. Well, I wasn't there, but I remember seeing a memory of yours about a trip to Latissa where you met someone that was a lot like Hunter over here.
Luz: A beat-up blonde?
Venom: Yeah and Luz called him, no joke, "a bad but sad boy."
The symbiote says before she, Eda, Carnage & King laughed much to Hunter's annoyance.
After a little while, they came up to an area only to immediately take cover as Kikimora and company showed up.
Kikimora: Why are we stopping? Is it the Golden Guard?
Coven Captain: No, ma'am. This is a dangerous area. We need to move carefully.
Kikimora: Careful takes too long! My butt is on the line and so help me, Titan, if you ruin this, I will throw you off the tallest peak of the Knee with a smile!
Eda: Oh, that poor girl is going through something.
Amity: She's also blocking the path to Eclipse Lake.
She says, pointing towards a tunnel up ahead.
Luz: We should create a distraction.
Eda: Heck yeah! Oh, I know!
She says before pulling her hair into her face.
Eda: I'll be the ghost of Miners Past and spook 'em out.
King: You look like one of my hair balls! Let's just do the trench coat thing.
Carnage: Hey! Nobody asked you shorty!
King let out an angry squeak as he tackles the symbiote, poking Carnage's eyes.
Carnage: Ow! I'm so gonna eat you!
Eda: Carnage, don't you dare!
The three argued as Luz, Venom, Amity and Hunter stared at them awkwardly.
Luz: Okay . . . while they're doing that, you wanna help with that distraction, Amity?
Amity: Obviously.
She says before Luz takes out a fire glyph, tapping it and shooting a fire ball while Amity uses her staff to shoot a purple fire ball of her own.
The two fire balls then started bouncing all over the place while Kikimora and her allies were caught off guard, the Abomatons creating magic force fields to protect them.
Venom: Let's go, idiots!
She yelled as everyone made a run for it, making it to the tunnel as fast as they could.
After a couple minutes of running, they found an area where the walls were covered in some kind of substance.
Luz: Is this Titan's Blood?
Amity: But . . . Eclipse Lake is farther ahead.
She said as she checks on the map.
King: Who cares? We did it!
He said as the little demon was about to touch the substance.
Hunter: Stop! That's Fool's Blood! Don't touch it!
Eda: Oh, so you can keep it all for yourself?
She scoffs.
Carnage: Fat chance, Golden Chump!
The red symbiote said as she sends out a multitude of red tendrils, cracking many of the fool's blood on the walls.
But then the ground began to rumble as the ground, walls and ceiling began to crack, to which the ground opens up with Luz, Venom, Eda, Carnage & King falling down a an abyss, screaming.
And if that wasn't enough, the cracked ceiling had a bunch of rocks falling on top of them, making it extremely difficult for the symbiotes to try and get back as they got hit by the falling rocks.
Amity: No! Luz!
She cried out, getting on her staff as she was ready to go down and help them.
Hunter: Wait! Take me with you!
Kikimora: Yoo-hoo! Golden Guard!
The emperor's assistant said in the distance as they can hear her footsteps.
Hunter: At least untie me so I can escape!
He said as Amity looked conflicted on what to do.
Hunter: Please. I don't wanna be replaced.
He begged as Amity finally caved in.
Amity: Fine!
She said, using her magic to unbound Hunter from Venom's tendrils, the black ooze making it's way down the hole in the ground.
Amity: So, where will you go now?
Hunter: Now . . .
He says before kicking Amity while she had her back turned.
The young screamed as she fell into the hole only for a purple tendril to suddenly come out of her arm, grabbing Hunter by the leg.
Amity was shocked by this as Hunter managed to grab hold of the cliff with Amity hanging there.
Hunter tried to get back up but he couldn't as his fingers began to slip, suddenly, a golden tendril came out of Hunter's back, forming into a blade and slicing the purple tendril off.
Amity then screamed as she started falling while Hunter managed to pull himself up, shocked by what had just happened.
He didn't have time to question it, however, as he could hear Kikimora drawing closer to his position, making a run for it.
Hunter: What in the Isles was that?!
???: That was me, kid.
Said a masculine voice as a gold and black symbiote formed a head from Hunter's shoulder, freaking the witch out as he tripped only for the symbiote to use a couple of tendrils to prevent him from falling.
Hunter: A Klyntar?! Where did you come from?!
He yelled as he continued running.
???: I came from the castle, me and a few others managed to escape and I followed you to your room. Then I bonded with you in your sleep and now you, Hunter, are my host.
Hunter: What? Why me?
???: You were the closest person nearby, plus I could tell that you're a perfect match for symbiosis.
Hunter: So . . . what happens now?
???: Now? Now we're gonna get that Titan's Blood. It's what you're here for, right?
Hunter: Well, yeah.
???: Then let's go for it . . . partner.
He said as Hunter couldn't help but grin upon hearing the word "partner" before continuing to make his way to Eclipse Lake.
Meanwhile at the bottom of the sink hole, Venom & Carnage managed to save everyone, though King was unconscious.
The symbiotes had safely put everyone down before Luz heard screaming up above.
Luz: What the . . . ?
Her eyes widened upon seeing a familiar face falling towards them.
Luz: Amity!
She cried out as Venom quickly launched a few black tendrils only for several purple tendrils to come out of Amity, stopping her fall.
Luz: Say wha?
She says in confusion as Amity was gently set down in front of everyone.
Amity: Luz!
She said, immediately hugging the human.
Amity: I'm so glad you're safe!
Luz: Me too, Ami. But . . . what was that just now?
???: That was me.
A feminine voice said as a purple and black symbiote forms a head from Amity's shoulder.
???: Hi.
Luz: Venom?
Venom: Don't look at me, she ain't mine.
Amity: I'm sorry, but . . . where did you come from and how did you bond with me without me noticing?
???: Oh, I escaped from a castle and just wandered around for a bit and then I found you at that house and bonded with you in your sleep.
Eda: So what happened up there, bossy boots? Where's the Golden Guard?
Amity: He managed to escape and . . . he also has a symbiote.
Luz & Eda: What?!
Carnage: Mom, are you sure you haven't spawned any more offspring?
Venom: I think I'd remember giving birth, Carnage!
Carnage: I'm just asking! I-Oh . . . oh boy . . .
The red symbiote said as she groans in pain.
Eda: Carnage?
Carnage: Oh man . . .
Eda: Carnage, what's up with you? You all right?
Carnage: No, I don't think so . . .
She groans before immediately oozing out an offspring of her own.
Everyone gasped upon seeing the newly born orange and black symbiote on the ground.
Luz gasped in happiness.
Luz: Venom, you're a grandma! I'm so happy for you!
Venom: I can't believe it . . .
The black symbiote said, the Klyntar currently at a loss for words.
Eda: Huh. I guess you're a mom now, Carnage. Congrats.
Carnage: It's not like I asked to have it!
Venom: Hey! Don't you talk about my grandbaby like that! I didn't ask to have you either! But I'm here raising you anyway! So I suggest you suck it up and try to take good care of your kid!
She yelled as Carnage looked upon her offspring just slithering about the rocky floor.
Carnage: . . . You're right, mom. My offspring is . . . beautiful. I brought it into this world and now I gotta raise it up. As soon as it finds a host.
She says before the orange and black symbiote envelops the unconscious King.
Carnage: . . . Well, he's dead.
Luz: What?! What're you talking about?!
Venom: Klyntars can't just bond with anyone, not all our potential hosts are compatible for symbiosis. And if they're not compatible, well . . .
Carnage: We just slowly eat you alive to sustain ourselves before moving on to find a better host. And if King's my offspring's host? Tsk tsk tsk. Yeah, he's totally gonna die.
The red symbiote says before getting slapped by Eda.
Carnage: Ow!
Eda: You shut your mouth!
Luz: We'll worry about that later. Now come on! We gotta get the Titan's Blood first!
She says before carrying the unconscious King as Venom & Carnage sprouted wings, carrying Amity and the purple symbiote as they fire out of the sink hole.
They then make their way through a tunnel only to see Kikimora and her crew injured in a minecart crash.
Eda & Carnage: Hah!
The chaotic duo laughed before seeing an entrance with a sign that reads; "Eclipse Lake."
Amity: There it is!
She says before the two Abomatons grabbed onto Venom & Carnage by their legs.
Coven Captain: I don't know who you freaks are, but that blood belongs to Kikimora!
She yelled as the Abomatons slammed Venom and Carnage to the ground.
Luz: Amity, take King and go! We'll-
She was cut off by the Abomatons throwing her, Venom, Eda and Carnage into the rocky wall.
Amity: But, Luz-!
Venom: We'll be fine! Get that Titan Blood!
She yelled as they immediately started fighting off the Emperor's Coven.
Amity didn't want to leave Luz behind, but she understood the importance of the mission as she hesitantly ran for the tunnel while carrying an unconscious King.
She then sees Hunter in the center of a dried up Eclipse Lake, digging in the dirt.
Amity then gently places the unconscious King on the doorway before making her way towards the Golden Guard.
Hunter: Don't worry. I won't pick a fight. There's no Titan Blood.
Amity: Then why are you digging?
She asks as Hunters chuckles.
Hunter: Oh, it's simple really. Belos needs Titan Blood, can't travel to the human realm without it.
He said as he goes back to digging while Amity grasps her hand onto the portal key Eda entrusted to her around her neck.
Hunter: Since I failed my last mission, I thought "Hey, a chance to make up for it." But I can't go back empty handed. Not again. Long story short, this is my grave.
He says before his gold colored symbiote forms a head from his shoulder.
Gold Symbiote: Kid, you're really starting to bum me out.
Hunter: That's just life, Klyntar. Everyone has a use and if you don't?
He says before blowing a raspberry.
Hunter: Bye-bye.
He says before the little red bird palisman tugs on his cloak.
Hunter: Hey! Go find a better witch to be with.
He says before slumping face first into the dirt.
Gold Symbiote: Seriously? You're just gonna give up? Just like that?
Hunter: Oh yeah, and you should go find a better host too.
Amity couldn't help but feel bad for the Golden Guard as she approached him.
Amity: You know, I honestly understand how you feel. I grew up thinking that everything was an opportunity to justify existing. But there are people out there who won't make you feel worthless. You just have to let yourself meet them.
She says, offering him her hand only for Hunter to notice the portal key around her neck, staring at it.
Purple Symbiote: Not good.
Amity: What?
She says in confusion before Hunter lunges towards her, the young witch quickly dodging him.
Hunter then glares at Amity before being enveloped by his symbiote as it takes control.
Amity: Oh, come on. Being nice usually works for Luz.
She says before the symbiote lets out a screech as it lunges for her.
Amity quickly uses her abomination magic to encase the golden symbiote in a ball of abomination goop before getting on her staff and flying away.
It was only a few seconds later when the symbiote to broke free and caught her staff with a golden tendril, pulling it as Amity started falling.
But before she could hit the ground, her symbiote had taken control, enveloping the young witch's body.
Note: Like this but without the hair.
The two symbiotes screech at one another before charging as the two fought, clawing and snarling at one another like rabid animals.
Meanwhile, King had just woken up with a gasp, looking around only to be shocked upon seeing the purple and golden symbiotes.
King: Oh no, what do I do?!
He yelled as an orange and black symbiote forms a head from his shoulder.
Orange Symbiote: Hi.
It says with a masculine voice.
.King: Weh?!
Orange Symbiote: I bonded with you while you were unconscious and now your friend's fighting that golden guy.
King: My friend?
He gasps.
King: You mean Amity?!
Orange Symbiote: Yup.
King: We gotta help her!
Orange Symbiote: Okay then.
He says before the symbiote envelops King.
Note: Like this, but imagine it's body in the shape of King.
Meanwhile, the two symbiotes were rolling in the dirt as they tried to pin the other to gain an advantage only for the golden symbiote to tear off a piece of the purple symbiote.
Hunter and his symbiote could see the portal key, reaching and grabbing it but the purple symbiote grabbed his wrist to stop him from taking the key.
The two struggled as the golden symbiote gave the key a squeeze before the orange one came in and tackled the golden symbiote off.
The purple symbiote was surprised but had no time to think as the two of them started overwhelming their gold colored enemy.
Hunter: Forget about it, we must retreat!
Gold Symbiote: But the key!
Hunter: We don't need it! Let's go!
He yells from within as his symbiote reluctantly agreed, fleeing from the other two through a hole in the ceiling.
The purple and orange symbiotes then return into Amity and King's bodies.
Amity let's out a sigh of relief upon seeing that the key wasn't taken.
And then, Venom & Carnage suddenly came into the room.
Carnage: That was the most glorious butt kicking I've ever seen.
She says before seeing Amity and King, the symbiotes going back into their host's bodies.
Luz: Amity! King!
She says, running up to them and giving Amity a big hug.
Luz: I'm so glad my awesome girlfriend's okay!
She says, making Amity blush as she hugs her back.
Amity: Me too
King: No King hug!? What is this!? You are a swindler and a thief!
Luz: Come here buddy!
She says, giving him a big hug.
King: I regret this!
He yelled as Luz is squeezing him a little too tight.
Afterwards, they all returned to the owl house as Amity & King tried coming up with names first their symbiotes.
King: How about Toxin?
Orange Symbiote: Toxin?
King: Yes! You and I will be toxic to our enemies! Watch them as they slowly succumb to death!
Orange Symbiote: Toxin . . . yeah, I like that.
He said as Amity lets out a sigh.
Amity: I'm sorry, that's all the names I can come up with.
Purple Symbiote: Come on, Amity, there's gotta be something else!
Luz: Don't worry, Ami. There's no need for you to wallow in agony for this.
Purple Symbiote: Agony?
Amity: Huh?
Purple Symbiote: What she just said, Agony. I like it.
Amity: Agony? That's what you wanna be called.
Agony: Yup.
Luz: Yeah, I like it too. It rhymes with Amity, and plus she matches your hair.
Venom: Yeah, it totally works for you!
Amity couldn't help but let out a laugh before giving Luz a peck on the lips, making the human blush.
We then cut to the Emperor's Castle as Hunter returns with his glove covered in Titan's Blood.
Emperor Belos: You have done well, Hunter. You may go now.
Hunter: Yes, emperor.
He says before exiting the throne room, and just as he heaves, Belos started groaning in pain as he quickly makes his way to his personal chambers.
Belos could feel himself starting to change as he makes his way to one of the symbiote vials, picking it up as the black symbiote inside had turned white.
Emperor Belos: It is . . . time . . . my little friend.
He says before opening the vial, allowing the symbiote to engulf him before the emperor passes out on the floor.
After about 5 minutes, Belos woke up, his body being enveloped by a white and black symbiote while gets back up.
A white and black clawed hand scratching at the wall as he stood to his full height and speaks in a low pitched voice.
Emperor Belos: We . . . are . . . Anti-Venom.
