Me, Ary, Shawn, Janiyah, Anna, Amari, and Malik all sat around doing what felt like hourssss of homework.
We all broke my classes into sections as we worked on getting caught up. I groaned loudly before laying down but Ary pulled me back up
"This is why you're where you are now." She mumbled causing me to smack my teeth
"This is a lot." I sighed
"Well we're leaving in the morning so we need to finish as much as we can." Ary said before I sighed again and continued working.
"See this right here is why I didn't go to college, you better hope yo teacher grade on participation." Amari said before I smacked my teeth
"At least im here unlike some nigglets, where that nigga Daivon at ? He can shoot a stick for you but not a couple of assignments ?" He asked before everybody but me busted out laughing
"Never should you be this blunt." Anna laughed
"He didn't lie though, where is he?" Janiyah asked
"Something went down yesterday, I told him but he didn't text back so." I shrugged
"Damn, sorry girl." Anna said before I shrugged
"I'm not stressing it, it is what it is."
After a few more hours we all ended up getting everything turned in and caught up before I sighed in relief
"Y'all the goats like real shit." I cheesed before they all looked at me drained
"Don't ever let that shit happen again." Malik chuckled
"Celebration ? Drinks on me ?" I asked before Ary tilted her head
"And cranberry juice.." I smiled before she laughed
"I'm tired anyways, y'all go." She said
"And I have to catch a flight back in a few hours." Shawn replied
"I'm helping jr train for his match tomorrow." Janiyah sighed
"And you know I'm down for a drink, but this shit here drained me, but I'm saving my free drinks card so don't forget the offer." Amari chuckled
"Y'all lame." I mumbled
"It's not our fault we not alchy's like you." Anna laughed
"I'm down." Malik chuckled and I did a small happy dance
"See, Malik's down." I said before Anna waved me off
After everyone left I went on my phone to search up some places
"It's a little too early for a bar, I know this Paining With a Twist place downtown, plus there's a Nice ass Art museum and foodd." He suggested
"I can vibe with that." I shrugged before he grabbed his keys.
Kash-
"Kash..." Angel sighed
"Shut the fuck up talking to me." I told her as I continued to pack.
"You really gon be this dumb ? Where you gonna go ? What makes you think that I won't turn you in my damn self ?" She asked and I turned to look at her
"Sending me away won't save yo life and neither will it put money in yo pockets... if you go to the feds about me or Kay I'll make sure to put yo ass six feet under." I told her
"You wouldn't."
"Try me." I mumbled Before she looked away
"Fuck you." She told me as I continued
After I threw the last of everything inside my trunk I shut it before Angel followed
"I hope she's down to pull you out of jail because it damn sure won't be me."
"Angel I don't give a fuck." I told her now getting irritated
After I started the car she crossed her arms And shook her head.
"You at lease owe me profit." She told me before I chuckled
"You didn't do shit for my business but fuck up the books."
"Not the good business, the bad business, if I'm gonna stay quiet, you gon pay me for it." She told me before I tilted my head and chuckled
"How much, I'm not paying for yo silence, I'm paying for you to stay the fuck away from me after all this shit is over ." I said before she crossed her arms

"Angel threatened to snitch if I don't pay to keep her quiet." I explained before Kay tilted her head
"First of all you just lied to me ? Second, are you fucking dumb ?" She asked
"No, I'm not giving you or Angel money, if you want her to shut the fuck up do it yourself." I told him
"Matter of fact, I'm not going down because of her when I've been warning you all this time.. so times up Kash, either you kill her, or I'll do it myself." She told me
"Ight, so Zay gotta go too." I said before she laughed
"Zay's not the one snitching, this shut doesn't have anything personal to do with it." I told him

"How did Angel get the gun in the first place ? She didn't break in, you didn't see her on that ring cam did you ?" I asked her before she looked away
"Zay came in, he searched for the gun, he gave it to Angel, he's involved stop being fucking dumb." I told her before she looked away
"He has no reason to think I even had the gun or anything to do with James."
"The feds told him you slept with James, the nigga you vouched so hard for him to stay away from."I said
She walked towards the couch slowly before sitting down in silence and starring into space.
"Kay.." I sighed
She looked lost for words before she cleared her throat and took a deep breath
"Ok."
"But I don't want you to be the one to do it, if he's a witness then us killing him would look suspicious, hire someone." She told me
"Angel too." She said before I nodded
"We go out of town this weekend for my birthday like you wanted, so when they ask where we were, we can say somewhere on a island." She explained Before we sat in silence
"I'm sorry Kay." I told her before she raised her eyebrows
"Why ? Isn't this what you wanted ?" She asked before furrowing her eyebrows
"But seeing you like this and in this shit is far from what I wanted." I told her before she shrugged
"It's nothing new to you, me either." She mumbled before getting up and going upstairs
I sighed before my phone rang and it was Brian
"Nigga where you at ?" He asked
"Kay's wassup ?"
"Get to the warehouse." He told me

Once I pulled up to the warehouse I saw Daivon tied up with bruises all over his face
"What the fuck happened ?" I asked
"This Nigga got over 10k worth of product robbed from us." Brian said before I looked at him
"It wasn't shit I could do, I was out numbered." He sighed before shaking his head
"I don't believe that shit, where's yo fucking brother ?" Brian asked before he looked away
Brian chuckled before smacking him with the Glock causing his head to fly Back
"You really finna sit here and watch him do this shit ? Get yo crazy ass boy Kash." He told me before Brian went to swing again but I stopped him
"Where's JJ if you loyal to us ?" I asked before he looked me In The eyes
"Somewhere getting high, off of product that I'm working back." He told me
I let him out of the rope before Brian looked at me like he was crazy
"You letting this nigga go off of 10k plus he owe us more then that ?" Brian asked
"Kash man I want out of this shit." Daivon said before I chuckled
"Get my money, and you're free." I told him Before he shook his head
"You ain't even you no more." He mumbled before leaving and I cleared my throat
"We got worst problems." I said before Brian sighed

"If you go in the gutter one more time." Malik chuckled as I watched the bowling ball continue to roll through.
"It's these shoes." I blamed
"It's these shoes." He mocked before he grabbed a ball and he both laughed
After we left the painting spot, We had went up the street to main event and decided to do some tipsy bowling.
He rolled his ball and it went straight down the middle giving him a strike causing him to win the game.
"Damn." I chuckled before he patted his chest
"I'm just real like that." He told me
"You got lucky." I said as I grabbed my purse
"It's giving.... Hater." He told me before we both busted out laughing
"Damn we forgot to do the document thing." He told me before pulling out his camera.
"I honestly forgot too." I laughed before he hit record
"So Liyah just got her ass beat in bowling."he boasted
"Boooo." I laughed before he turned the camera to me

"Like he can have it because I be wanting all the smoke when it comes basketball."

"Let's go out up a couple of points then" he told me before turning off the camera
Once we made it to the car he began scrolling down his playlist to play music
"We can go to a park court-
"It's a little windy, let's go to a indoor court." I said before he furrowed his eyebrows

"Game point." He cheesed before tossing the ball to me and I nodded before checking him up.
He came up to guard me not really being able too before I did a small move causing To loose his footing. I went up for the shot but missed it causing him to rebound and he took a couple steps back before I attempted to guard him too.
Once he went up for the shot he made it causing my mouth to drop.
"Oh ight." He chuckled
"You like 6 foot be real." I laughed before he smacked his teeth and we both wiped our sweat on our shirts.
"Damn you really leaving tomorrow." He told me before taking a sip of water and I shrugged
"I'll be back for spring break which isn't that far away anyways."
"Do you not like North Carolina ?" He asked before I shrugged
"It's ok, it's just not Texas." I said before looking through my bag

"I think I my AirPods at Daivon's." I sighed
"You want me to swing you by there or take you to your car ?" He asked before grabbing his keys

He handed her to Camya before she shook her head
"You won't see her until you figure this shit out."

I walked towards the freezer before taking out a frozen bag of broccoli and I pushed him towards the couch before holding the bag against his eye.
"I'll do you this one favor, but look at yourself, if this shit doesn't show you that you're not cut out for this shit, then I don't know what will." I told him before letting him hold the bag himself

I walked towards my daddy before he looked at me like I was crazy
"Liyah the fuck are you doing in my trap?" He asked

I chuckled before walking towards his desk and sliding my hand across it causing all of the papers to fly off

"You having a tantrum won't change shit, he still owes me money and I'm gonna get it by any means,so don't be the reason he's distracted, because the next time you fucking that nigga. Will be the last." He told me before I looked him

"I guess it's like that then." I said before he sighed and I left
Kay-
"You need to get control of yo bad ass daughter." Kash told me but I ignored him as I continued typing
"Kay." He called before I looked at him
"Keshawn I got too much shit to be worrying about right now, Angel agreed to testify on stand." She said before I furrowed my eyebrows
"Deadass?" I asked
"Yes, so times up, did you get somebody to do it or not, because I need to look up trip arrangements so we can get this shit taken care of by the weekend." She told me
"Yea.. the trip's already covered I had it planned out a couple of weeks ago before I asked." He said before I furrowed my eyebrows

"It was just In case, plus this works out better, the trip being planned in advance and not last last minute for suspicious reasons." He told me before I crossed my arms
"Who'd you get to do it ?" I asked before he sighed

"Nigga are you dumb ? Brian and Ari are both Alibi's, this shit could turn on him." I said

I looked at Kash before he sighed and ran his hand down his face

I walked inside Daivon's with a duffel bag before sitting it on the table
"Listen, I'm gonna help you, but you won't be the only one profiting." I said before he sighed

"Agree or let them kill you and yo brother... your pick." I said before he looked at the bag and I unzipped it revealing drugs
"How the fuck do you plan on pushing this shit?" Be asked
"I grew up Around this shit, I know what I'm doing, but do you ?" I asked before he nodded
"I'll take half to NC, you keep the other half here, we have until spring break to get all of this shit off." I told him
"And yo paps don't know shit about this?" He asked before I shook my head
"Kash got his head full of shit already, are you down or not ?" I asked Before he sighed
"I guess I don't have a choice."
