When you have your own problems, you're not worried about anyone else's; that how it was going for Zeara
With the trial 1 1/2 months away she needed to get everything together to prove she was great mother and would give her daughter the best care
Not only that, she had to deal with helping the Mikaelsons and making sure they didn't die, while having deal with her feelings and emotions about Klaus. Although she wasn't really dealing them, more like ignoring
Because of all that going on she had no idea there was like a serial killer going around and slaughtering council members and no idea Alaric was seeing a doctor named Meredith Fell, who had accused him of being the town killer
The Wickery Bridge was being restored, but also a certain red head who was an ex lover of a Mikaelson, had a past with Damon and was in Mystic Falls. She really had missed a lot like how Jeremy was sent away, Elena and Bonnie made up but her mom left he again. But the biggest thing she missed (and would later be informed of) is how the wickery sign was made of white oak
The only thing that could permanently kill an original. Damon and Alaric did not waste their opportunity and immediately started making stakes, but Stefan dropped out of killing the mikaelsons the night of the ball, so he had no idea this was happening
Because he was with Zeara and Bonnie, who were basically being held by Klaus. He had gotten the two witches to help him break the link of his siblings, and Stefan, well he was just there because Klaus just decided to drag him there

As Bonnie and Zeara skimmed through the grimiors of old witches they became frustrated as they didnt find anything, but Bonnie more so Zeara. See the velesco wasn't even supposed to be helping because Klaus wanted Bonnie to do it and if she couldn't he would have Zeara do it, knowing she 100% would be able to figure it out. A few moment later Klaus strode in and made is presence known and his voice laced with annoyance
"Tick tock Bennett, I should hear chanting by now."
The Bennett witch rolled her eyes and stood up "I'm still studying the unlinking spell, and it's not that easy especially under duress."
Adding in Zeara spoke calmly but with some sass in her voice "Being a witch is harder than it seems. Ok you can't expect us find what you want in one second and use us when it is convienent to you."
Now she was right and the hybrid looked at the two witches in guilt and pity for a split second before putting his scary facude back on "Well you've been warned, and you love, aren't even supposed to be helping her. I said I'll use you when I need to or if she can't complete my task."
Staring at the male in front of her the teen crossed her arms and stood her ground, giving the hybrid a death look. Unknowest to her, that made him feel small and for once in his lifetime, feel weaker than a teen witch beause of how intimidating she looked
Her voice was cold but quiet as her face was solid and blank "Don't speak about or to me like that. I want to help save your family so no one dies, but treating Bonnie and me like some toys isn't going to make us want to aymore."
When she stopped talking she just stared at him and he stared back. As the two had a stare off Bonnie and Stefan watched across the room interested on what would happen next. To their surprise it wasn't at all what they would even imageine
The hybrid looked at the girl in front of him and tilted his head. In his mind he was blow awy at the fact she had stepped to him, and the way it wasn't the first time. But realizing she's right he clenched his jaw and huffed trying to overcome his pride
"Fine, whatever love you win. Just find the spell, but before you two witches do that you need the blood of my siblings. Luckily for you I have it right here."
He walked over to a side tble and grabbed a box that had a vile of his siblings blood.
The two witches scrunched their face in disgust and Stefan was low key falling asleep
"Now, where do you want them?" Klaus sighed smirking as he spoke about his sibling's blood
They walked out to the foyer of the house and Bonnie set up the spell even though they didn't know it, but Zeara kept searching through grimoires
"I found it! Oh sorry uh I found it. It only requires one witch so either of us can do it, it's up to you Bonnie."
The Bennett quickly studied the spell and began chanting but as she kept chanting she quickly felt something was wrong and felt weaker
"I can't sever the link! Something's happening and it's draining my magic."
Klaus and Stefan grew worried while Zeara grabbed Bonnie's hand reassuringly and joined in the spell but quickly felt the same thing Bonnie did
She stopped chanting and looked at Klaus speaking frantically and fast but still doing the spell "The link is dying, like the whole thing meaning one of your siblings is dying too"
Immediately Klaus clenched and fists and grew angered "Break it faster then!"
Feeling the pressure and her magic being drained too Zeara closed her eyes "We're literally trying! Ok it's too difficult to break since the link is dying!"
Right after she was done speaking she felt Bonnie let go of her hand "I'm sorry but it's taking my magic. I cant do it. You're stronger you can do it."
And Bonnie was right. Zeara was stronger than her so she would be able to sever the link. But at what cost
The Velesco kept chanting and did it faster trying to break the link faster but started coughing as she was too far in, the link had roped her in and she began to go with the rest of the mikaelsons
Detecting this Stefan couldn't watch his friend doing this and stormed up to Klaus "Enough of this Klaus, she's gonna get hurt!"
A yell rang through the vampires ears and they realized it was Rebekah. Klaus pushed Stefan and raised his voice at him "She will finish the spell or I will hurt everyone you've ever met and kill you!"
Bonnie coughed on the floor trying to regain power back while Zearas's cough became more violent. Stefan looked at his best friend "Zeara listen to me, do not finish the spell."
The girl looked at him and spoke with sadness "It's too late. I'm too far in the spell and because I'm trying to break the link while someone in it is dying, it has me too. I have to at least try and finish the spell. Go out with a fight I guess."
As she kept chanting her nose began bleeding on the table and the spell was moving slower since her magic was draining. Klaus and Stefan looked at the girl but with different looks, Stefan was sad and looked at her with pity while Klaus looked at her with guilt and remorse. They quickly looked at the table and realized she was almost done with the spell. All she had to do was separate the blood into 5 piles and she almost had it
Originally it was only four but since she was now in the link and her blood was now in there she could actually be pulled out of the bond
She was still coughing and bleeding but there was nothing anyone could do now, it was all up to Zeara. Even though she was weak she had finally managed to break the link and save the Mikaelsons, except for the one was that was staked
But even though she was out of the link she was so weak that she collapsed on the floor, luckily Klaus got her before she the ground. He whispered into her ear as he held her unconscious body "I'm so sorry love. Thank you for doing this, I'll make it up to you I promise."
He picked her body up as Stefan helped bonie up and made sure she was ok.
"I'm going to bring her up and let her rest, check on my sister and escort Bonnie out will you mate?' Reluctantly Stefan led Bonnie out but stopped once they saw Damon all bloody and chained up
he walked the witch outside and told her to wait in his car then walked backed in to be greeted with Rebekah who was fuming
"What did you do!"

The day had wrapped up and it was mow the next day
To fill in was happened last nighy it was Finn who had died, and so Klaus made Stefan give him all the white oaks stake in exchange for Damon but there was one stake missing, because Alaric had it but with his alter ego on the loose he doesn't know where he put it.
Adding on to that, it was Elena, Matt, and Alaric who killed Finn, Sage came after them but threw up blood and died before she could do anything
This made them realize that Zeara was right all along, so if one original dies well so does their entire bloodline does too
they needed to figure out what bloodline everyone was from in order to kill klaus, but not with out the protest of Caroline because they 100% know Tyler was sired by Klaus
In the present Zeara had just woken up and was blinded by the sun but quickly realized this was not her room
or her bed................
Hearing a light chuckle the teen turned her head to see klaus stepping in the room "You collasped last night, so I brought you to my room to let you rest."
She rubbed her head and nodded "Uh could you get me some like tylenol please, my head really hurts."
Laughing softly and making a joke Klaus bowed "Ah ok, and anything else you need your highness?" The teen shook her head slightly and smiled at him. He went to fetch her some Tylenol and water
Once she took that she thanked Klaus kindly and left to her home and change into new clothes

Rebekah just got done with school and sped to her home only to see her mother standing in the living room
Upset she grabbed her by the throat and sped her against the wall yelling at her "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now!"
The witch just stared at her daughter before blinking and calmly speaking "Because I'm dying." Hearing that the blonde mikaelson let go off her mother slowly and questioned her harshly
"How are you dying? I thought Ayanna persevered your body with a spell?"
Esther sighed and started walking around "She did, but I was drawing my power from the Bennett bloodline and since Abby died the connection was severed and my body has weakened."
Not buying it Rebekah spoke in a distasteful manner rolling her eyes "Well if you've come to spend your last moments with your loving daughter, prepared to be disappointed. Because maybe if you spent less time plotting my death this wouldn't be happening to you."
Esther stopped pacing around and went up to Rebekah "Is that what you think I've been doing in the other side. Dear I have watched over you for a thousand years and seen all the joy and heartbreak, every fight with Klaus, and even the night where you cried for me. Not a day has gone has gone by where I wasn't with you."
The blond couldn't believe what her mother was saying, she was truly sick and disgusting for the way she tried to make Bekah believe her words "Yet you still tried to kill me, and don't you dare say it's because I'm a thousand years old! Mother, you made me this way but I haven't even lived at all. I've been chained and bared to Nik all these years, where I have not made a single choice for myself!"
The witch grabbed her daughter's hands "I'm sorry Rebekah, so so sorry."
She was sort of apologizing for her past but mostly for what she was about to do next. Holding Rebekah's hands for a second she began to shake then dropped to the ground
What had happened was Esther transferred herself to Rebekah by preparing a spell beforehand, so that when she grabbed her daughter's hand so they switched bodies
This was to reach Alaric and find that last stake to use against her children. She couldn't talk to the hunter in her normal form because he didn't know her so she needed a disguise, but she still had access to her magic
When she Reached Alaric she made him tap into his alter ego and take her to the cave where he put it and get it

Obtaining the stake Rebekah (Esther) brought it to Klaus who was painting in the living room, except she brought him a fake him. So when he threw it in the fireplace and let it burn it was actually just a normal piece of wood, but he didn't know that
When walking away Klaus stopped her "Bekah pack your bags we're leaving today, since nothing is keeping us here."
Growing worried Esther had to say something to try and change his mind "But tonights the decade dance, and I'm the head if the committee. It's the twenties, Nik you love that era."
He laughed and continued painting "Who cares about some silly little dance, we're leaving this hell as soon as I get the doppelganger."
Seeing as his mind wasn't changed Esther needed to come up with something else "Well what about Zeara? You're just going to leave her here and forget about her."
Now she didn't particularly like the witch but she needed something that would get his attention and make him stay so she could fulfill her plan
"There's nothing to forget, and I'm not leaving her sister. If I was with her that's something to forget and leaving her, but I'm not."
"Rebekah" crossed her arms and rolled her eyes "Brother don't pretend you don't like her. And if you want stay for her then I will. She's my best friend Nik and I want to bring her to the dance."
Esther had gotten pretty good at picking up her daughter's behavior and observing her relationships and life
Klaus stopped painting and huffed walking up to his sister "Fine. One last hurrah."
"One last hurrah." She repeated
