The Kingdom of Ventina
20 years ago, there were two kingdoms that had the strongest friendship in the world between humans and monsters. Two Princes had sworn to be brothers forever. Nothing could break them apart, not even their parent's disagreement towards them being sworn brothers for they are both from different worlds but, everything came to an end in just a blink of an eye. It all started when The Goddess of kindness and Beauty showed up and rang their hearts.
"Wow, another boring love story again!" I interrupted.
"Shut up!" my sisters complained.
"Ehem~. Where was I? Right! Both of them took the initiative to coax the Goddess but only one of them took the Goddesses likings. One of the princes and the Goddess were so deeply in love with each other that the both of them decided to get married at the end of the month during the full moon. The other bursts out of anger after knowing that he failed. He then planned to steal the Goddess away from his sworn brother's hands on the day of their marriage for his own satisfaction and to prove that he did not yet lose. During the day of their marriage, the other prince held an ambush so that he could kidnap the Goddess. The prince that was supposed to be married to the Goddess felt betrayed for what his sworn brother did. After seeing his sworn brother betray him, he then recited a curse. "Whoever betrayed one's ally will die with them miserably." and he then revokes their pledge as sworn brothers. Until then, the two kingdoms that were once close together became enemies evermore." the old Lady narrated.
After the old Lady told us the story, each of my sisters gave feedback. Some were emotional, while some are searching for justice.
"Boohoo, that was so sad." Waquashia claimed while wiping her tears.
"If only I was alive back then, then the two of them could have another option and wouldn't be fighting over a girl." Thesian bragged.
Meet Thesian Alessandra Quinn, Thesian for short, one of my sisters. She is a year older than me but acts like she is somewhat Older than the others. Yes, she is so full of herself but she's actually soft somewhere inside.
"As if the two prince's are willing to die for you. Bet they'll just feed you to the dogs." I said.
"Pffft, HAHAHA! Yeah, right! How thick-faced you are, Thesian!" Blair added.
Meet Blair Brevia Quinn, Blair for short, my 5th sister and the biggest enemy of Thesian. She's a year older than Thesian and the loudest among us. She never stops spouting nonsense but she's very kind.
"Hey, you two, that's enough!" Gareth shouted.
Meet Gareth Felicipia Quinn, Gareth for short, our Eldest sister. She is smart, loving yet too dumb facing her own weaknesses. Anyway, she's been really kind ever since we were kids but the exact opposite when she gets mad.
"She started it!" Thesian answered back.
"It's not my fault that you're being too full of yourself. Besides, it wasn't me who started it, it was Martina." Blair said.
"Can you two just stop?" Equipsa said.
Meet Equipsa Orphea Quinn, Equipsa for short, our third sister. She is 2 years younger than our eldest sister, Gareth. She is actually sweet and innocent unless you want to see her true colors. Just kidding, she's very lovable like Eldest sister.
"Uhh guys, I don't want to interrupt but I really don't feel go–" Edina claimed and vomited after.
Meet Edina Entetrina Quinn, Edina for short, our second older sister. She is a year younger than eldest sister. I don't know about her but she always looks so cold but cool at the same time. I never expected a girl with a proper etiquette, cold and as silent as the wind would puke during trips. This is a new memory that I should cherish about second eldest sis.
"Eww, second eldest sis, why do you have to puke in front of us? You even puked at Martina." Blair said out of disgust.
"Gosh, I think I'm going to puke too. Stop the carriage please! I can't stand this scent!" Thesian said.
"We'll stop here for now." Gareth said.
"Edina, are you okay? You should take some rest for a while after the two of you get changed." Waquashia said worriedly.
And last but not least, Waquashia Ethiquea Quinn, Waquashia for short, our fourth sister. She is closer to me amongst my other sisters and my best friend. She's very caring, sweet and lovable like any other sister would act.
"So, what now?" Equipsa asked.
"We'll need to wait until Edina gets well." Gareth said.
"Ugh, that long? I can't stand being stuck here in the middle of nowhere!" Thesian complained.
"Then leave if you're really that eager to leave. Besides, no one wants to hear someone who did nothing but complain all the way here." I said.
"Fine! Don't look for me then!" Thesian shouted.
After some minutes, Edina fell asleep and we started to continue our journey. On the way, we saw Thesian catching her breath, mumbling some lines that we can't understand.
"Are you bewitched or something?" I asked.
"What does it have to do with you if I'm bewitched?" Thesian answered back.
"Stop talking and get in here. You're wasting everyone's time." Gareth demanded.
When Thesian came back, the whole carriage was filled with silence. Luckily, Equipsa got curious about the story that the old lady shared while we were on the trip and asked a few questions to the old lady that was going to the same place as we.
"Excuse me, I got a little curious about what you have said to us earlier. Since you said that the two kingdoms are not on good terms, I was wondering why the hell are we still going to the vampire kingdom if they despise us?!" Equipsa asked while she was panicking.
"Sweetie, that happened a long time ago, besides, there is no grudge between the next generation of the two kingdoms unless their father's want them to take revenge for them." the old lady said, smiling while looking at me.
"She sure is creepy, right?" Equipsa whispered to me.
After I heard the last sentence, I felt suddenly nervous. Does she know something about our plan?
Hi! I'm Martina Eberviana Quinn, the youngest princess of the Kingdom of Wales.. Yes we're on a trip... More like a mission where we're tasked to kill 7 idiots from a kingdom called Ventina for just 1 month. The reason why we are on a trip is for some so-called agreement that my dad and the Crowned prince of Ventina negotiated. I'm still not sure about the reason but yeah, I trust Father. Since father requested that I should be the one to kill the crowned prince because my sisters are probably too dumb to do that, well, I had no choice but to accept it. And now I'm stuck in a boring adventure. Well, Whatever. As long as I can complete my mission then I'll probably get some rewards from Father...
After an hour sitting on the stiff seats inside the carriage, we already arrived at the Kingdom of Vampires. So this is what the so-called Ventina looks like. I can't lie but it's surprisingly good. After roaming around the village, we have finally arrived at the palace. I must say, the village was a bit creepy, especially because it is filled with things that I am not familiar with. We entered the palace where there were people already waiting for our arrival. The maids were neatly standing beside the hallway, seven young men patiently waiting while the palace's butler assisted us with courtesy. It was kinda weird but the young man standing in the middle seemed to be familiar as if I had seen him somewhere before.
"Greetings, Princesses of Wales Kingdom. We warmly welcome you to our Palace, the Kingdom of Ventina!" The butler announced. "Ehem, your majesty," he whispered.
"Oh, right..." Sujoon staggered. "I am delighted to have finally met the seven princesses of Wales. Please, make yourself at home as you are not just a guest from another kingdom but also, a family," he added.
I found my two sisters snickering when the young man dozed off. These two dumbasses must want to die so badly that they can't control themselves even when the situation is serious. As I observe his physical appearance, he dresses more presentable than the others like he's some kind of a very important person. Well, I shouldn't be wondering since he might be one of the princes of this palace.
"Before I end my greetings, I would like to introduce myself first. I am Sujoon Ozyphier Yvilla, the crowned prince of the palace and beside me are my brothers." He said confidently while looking at me.
"Oh no, sis. If I were you, I wouldn't look at someone like that, especially if the person I'm looking at is the reason for my death." I thought.
The princes introduced themselves one by one. After that, the butler asked for our turn to introduce ourselves to the princes. Since I am the youngest, then I would be introducing myself last. As my sisters introduced themselves, I subconsciously realized that the crowned prince was looking in my direction. Not assuming that he's directly looking at me but am I really that ugly to be stared at like that? But it seems like he's looking at something from behind me. Never mind!
When it was my turn to introduce myself, I suddenly felt nervous. For the love of nut crackers, why now?
"Greetings, your majesty. I am Martina Eberviana Quinn, the youngest princess of Wales Kingdom." I said as I bowed down.
"It is my pleasure to meet this lovely lady." He said, smiling while he gently kissed my hands.
I don't know if he is showing his gratitude towards me. This old man is actually harassing me in front of everyone. I see, you're trying to play a game with me, well then, let me act with you.
"Your majesty, aren't you afraid to be criticised by my sisters after touching their younger sister?" I whispered to his ears.
He looked shocked after he heard what I said. He grinned at me and leaned towards me.
"Shouldn't you be the one who should be afraid now that my brothers saw you whispering something in my ear. Besides, you are a humble guest and I am the crowned prince, I have the full power to do anything that I want." He replied.
What he said made me furious in a split second. Is he looking down on me just because I am a guest? Are you kidding me?! He's the one who asked Father to let us visit his Kingdom. "Make yourselves at home" my ass, you handsome, no, you ugly old man! I will get back to you soon! Just you wait, Suoon or Sugon or whatever your name is, Just you wait!
After the annoying introduction of the princes and their not so good crowned prince, they have arranged a dinner with us that also serves as a little celebration for our arrival.
"I would like to make a toast! Young princesses of Wales, we humbly welcome you to our Kingdom with joy and Happiness!" Sujoon said.
"Cheers!" James said while lifting his cup.
"Cheers!" Altogether, they shouted.
The princes and my sisters continuously drank wine. When things were about to get out of shape, I quickly snuck out of the room. I went outside the balcony to smell some fresh air and appreciate the silent night. When I was out on the balcony, I realized how stupid I am to go outside with thin clothes. Shivering from the cold, I suddenly heard footsteps approaching from behind me. Did I offend the crowned prince too early that he already sent someone to kill me? No, I can't die this early. I still haven't completed my mission.
"Young mi—"
"Who in the—" I said as I grabbed his arm and twisted it.
