"There's a call?" Karin questioned Paintbrush in her hand as a half-canvas was in front of her as she looked at one of Kazuma's disciples. She simple placed her brush down as she walked towards the phone
"Hello?" Karin asked into the phone, though her eyes widened on hearing the voice
"Hello Miss Karin" Tohru said softly as Karin eyes furrowed in confusion before she sighed loudly.
"Hello, Tohru how can i help you?" Karin asked with a gentle voice as it went silent for a moment before Karin heard a signed
"I was hoping if i could speak with you and master soon" Tohru said while Karin simple looked more concerned and confused.
"Well Kazuma is actually away at the minute, he will be returning late tomorrow evening. Is everything okay?" Karin asked her voice laced with concern as Tohru simple hummed
"I need to talk to you both, about something important" Tohru said as Karin eyes widened further as she could hear the girls determination on the other end of the phone.
"Of course. Shall we expect you tomorrow evening?" Karin asked with a smile as she could hear Tohru's mood brightening.
"Yes please!" Tohru smiled as Karin hummed into the phone and soon placed it down while Karin eyes filled with concern.
"Sorry to come so soon after your trip" Tohru smiled towards Kazuma as Karin walked in with a tray of tea for them as Kazuma smiled
"Please don't worry, It was just a simple trip to see a few friends and to visit my grandfather grave" Kazuma smiled as Karin simple smiled as well before sitting beside the man.
"The Sohma's graves isn't nearby?" Tohru questioned while Karin sighed loudly looking towards the floor in sadness
"No. It is, but they didn't allow my grandfather to rest there" Kazuma said while Karin held his hand in her for comfort "It's better this way, he has more of a freedom in death then he did in life" he continued
"But Kyo.. He's still alive" Tohru said which made Karin eyes widened as she turned towards Tohru to see her eyes filled with sadness "And he's free but i heard.. that's going to change" Tohru continued as Karin gripped her hands tightly.
"That's what Akito said after we met" Tohru spoke again while Karin sighed looking and seeing the bandage on her face.
"He did that, Didn't he?" Karin asked pointing to her cheek as Tohru simple looked down before nodding and Karin sighed loudly
"Is is true that after High school, Kyo will be locked away forever and Yuki and the other will be going back to the Sohma's. All the Zodiac members will be reunited for good. There destined to be together forever?"
"With Akito" Karin finished off while Tohru's eyes widened looking at the women who simple wore a sad expression on her face
"If that's true, that the curse is binding them to the future Akito wants then i want to find a way to break the curse" Tohru said as Karin's eyes soon widened as she looked at the girl.
"you want to break the curse?" Karin asked in almost shock while Tohru simple nodded before looking back at Kazuma.
"That's why i came here, if you know something, anything that might help them be free. I am begging you to tell me" Tohru said as Karin eyes has tears in her eyes looking at the girl
"Begging?" Kazuma asked while Karin simple squeezed his hand "You of all people shouldn't beg me for anything Tohru" he stated
"You have already done so much for us Tohru, you want to do even more" Karin said with a smile as she wiped her eyes "Of course we will help you in anyway we can Tohru" Karin smiled before she sighed
"But to be honest, we don't know much details about the curse and that the future Akito described may become true" Kazuma said as Tohru looked down while Karin reached forwards and held the young girls hands
"We're not going to follow that future without any resistance, I can promise you that" Karin smiled as Tohru nodded towards her before Kazuma sighed
"There is only so much we can do though" Kazuma said while Karin looked back at him with a sigh "When it concerns Akito Though" Kazuma began before Karin stood up
"Sorry, the tea has gone cold, I will warm it up" Karin said with a smile as she grabbed the tea and walking towards the door. Kazuma sighed
"Please forgive Karin, but when it comes to Akito she can't help but feel guilt and sadness. She knew Akito as a child as well as the man who was Akito's father. In some ways Karin feels she could of prevented this"
"I'm sorry that i suddenly left Tohru" Karin bowed while both her and Tohru stood in the hallway, Tohru waving her hands
"No, No. Don't worry" Tohru smiled as Karin simple chuckled at the girl, before she smiled softly looking at Tohru.
"I should thank you as well" Karin said with a smile as Tohru looked up in confusion "Before he left for the mountain, me and Kyo well, it became rough. But now he rings to check up and even visit which i have you to thank." Karin said with a smile as Tohru simple waved her hands
"No,No, Kyo has done that all on his-" Tohru was interrupted by a hug as her eyes widened feeling the arms of Karin around her
"Thank you for caring so much and making him smile" Karin mumbled into her ear as Tohru simple returned the hug as Kazuma watched from behind.
"I'm so glad, he has her" Karin said as she stood beside Kazuma in the kitchen, a smile on her face as Kazuma arm was wrapped around her.
"Yes, she had definitely help him and changed him" Kazuma said with a smile before Karin hummed, her hand on her chin.
"Maybe i should send Rin her away. Tohru seems to have a knack for this" Karin said with a slight smile as Kazuma simple smiled at her before kissing her as Karin smiled into the kiss.
