YEJI'S POV
I picked up my belongings before leaving the classrom. Lia also texted me to join her for lunch sjnce she's still unfamiliar with the place. While I was walking down the stairs, a figure from afar made my brow raise.
What is that guy doing in my department?
He was texting someone on his phone with a furrowed brows.
And do I care? Of course not.
I continued with my path but I couldn't help to look at their side when a pretry girl, approach him. The girl kissed him on the cheek before clinging into his arms. He, on the other hand, looked bored before leaving.
As expected, a player.
I walked my way towards Lia when she waved at me from afar.
"Yah! Ryujin told me you were with a guy this morning! Is that why you ditched me??" She teased, I rolled my eyes before replying. "No I was not, some random guy was annoying me if he could get my number" Lia nodded, she was used to the fact that boys would come up to me to ask for my number.
"Where's Ryujin by the way?" I sighed before replying to Lia. "I don't know! She's probably hanging out with some thugs or something, now shut up, I'm too tired to talk" I grabbed a tray from the counter before falling in line to get my lunch in which Lia, also did the same. "I don't think Ryujin is hanging with some thugs yeji-shi—"
"For goodnesssake Choi Jisu, you're quite talkative for someone who barely knows how to speak korean, Ryujin literally has thugs as her set of friends from other school! I really just want to save my breath so don't talk to me"
Was I rude? No, of course not.
Is it wrong if I wanted to speak my thoughts? Lia was already used to it, since she was my bestfriend since middle school.
"Yeji-shi! Here's the pen I borrowed from you" I looked at the person who just spoke beside me.
Huh? Isn't this the girl who clung on that playboy earlier?
I know her?
Why does she have my pen?
Oh right, she was the one sitting a few chair away from me. I couldn't remember her name though...
She wasn't that remarkable.
"Oh, I borrowed this from you during Chemistry, you might've forgotten about it, but thank you" she said, she probably noticed my confusion. I gave her a small, slightly forced smile. My gaze landed on the guy beside her.
This guy.
He smiled when our eyes met.
"Oh! You must be wondering who's this. This is Yeonjun, my boyfriend" she introduced. I eyed the guy from head to toe before heaving a sigh.
Here goes nothing.
"Omo! You're that jerk from earlier right? The one who kept on asking for the girls' number?!" I tried to sound so shocked, Lia did a side step before looking at me, making sure if she heard my tone correctly.
This guy is definitely a player, and this girlfriend of his, needs to know that.
He stared at me with amusement, written on his eyes. He gently shook his head while smiling.
"Omo!" He started, my eyes instantly grew wide when he copied my tone and even placed his hands on his mouth like as if he was so shocked.
"Are you willing to give me your number now?"

LIA'S POV
"I can't believe that was you!" I squealed and even tapped Yeji's shoulder.
That was the first time I saw her with a visible expression on her face. Makes me wonder who was that blue haired guy.
I nudged Yeji when I saw Ryujin, falling in line. We already got our food so we're currently on our way to an empty table.
She just cut through the line so she was able to reach the counter immediately. None of the students whined since they're slightly used to her habit.
"Ryu!! Here!!" I squealed, I didn't notice that it was too loud, making the whole cafeteria quiet. I pursed my lip before covering my face with my hair. Yeji beside me, covered her face while Ryujin laughed before walking at our table. My gaze suddenly landed on the guy from a certain table.
He was that tall guy from earlier!
Our eyes met so I smiled and waved at him. His friends beside him, including that blue haired guy looked at me before gazing at Choi. He, on the other hand, sighed. He broke our eye contact before munching on the bread. "Lia! Your food is getting cold, start eating" Yeji commanded. I smiled at her and started eating. "I had the worst morning earlier! And this btch right here ignored me!" She pointed at Yeji using her spoon. "Huh? What happened?"
"Well I was riding my skateboard and then I crashed into someone and Yeji unnie saw it but she just rolled her eyes! Plus! The person I crashed into was a total—a total.. A TOTAL DICKHEAD!" She grunted. I sighed after hearing her story. She complains here and there every single day so I didn't really paid much attention to it and Yeji is just being Yeji.
"Where's Chaeryeong? She's not joining us for lunch?"
"Nah! She had a part time job at the school council during lunch so I'm pretty sure she's working her ass right now" I pouted after hearing what Ryujin just told me.
That girl has been working so hard since senior highschool!
"I'll treat her later for a tteokbokki! Ryu, you coming?"
"As long as it's free"
"You're acting like as if you're not a daughter of some rich businessman" Yeji commented which made ryujin frown.
"Let's not talk about that old man okay?!"
"Yeji, you coming?" She shook her before taking a sip at her milk.
"I'm helping my grandmother at the bakery this afternoon" we finished our lunch peacefully before heading into our own departments.
I'm taking up law and I this is the first subject for yhe afternoon. The seats are already starting to get filled so I had to roam my eyes around yhe spacious room.
Oh? It's Choi!
I smiled before sprinting towards him. There was an emty seat beside him so I placed my bag on the side and happily sat on the chair. I didn't notice that he was my classmate earlier!
"Who the fvck told you to sit beside me?" He groaned, giving me that very annoyed glare. "Oh come on Choi! We're friends!"
"Dream on" I pouted when he scooted away from me.
He looks really good wehen annoyed though... I should annoy him more!
I scooted closer to him and gave him my cutest eye smile. He glared at me before scooting away once again. There are 9 of us sitting in the same elongated table and his chair was the last chair on the right, so he can scoot away however he wants.
I scooted closer to him as well.
"Would you like to join me and my friends for tteokbokki this afternoon?" I asked, trying to be friendly. I mean, he seems nice.
"No, I'm busy, just stop sticking unto me—SHT"
"CHOI!" We both screamed when his chair fell to the right because of too much scooting, causing him to fall on the ground as well.
The whole class stared at him while the others laughed. He stood up before picking up his chair and sitting on it once again.
The laughter died down and that's when he turned to me with a death stare.
Oh no...Choi Jisu...what did you do?!
