The event was so tragic that her mother committed suicide after she was a year old. Her adopted Father blamed her because her looks were related to the attacker and her mother couldn't take the sight of her, but her life wasn't easy as she was treated like a maid of his house. She wasn't allowed to meet with her other two siblings at all. The female was isolated until one night her adoptive Father was murder. She was only twelve at the time this had happened. Her siblings were taken in by family members while she was put into an orphan home. The female spent her time living there facing with an abusive household.
It was when she was singing as she was cleaning. The thing is, Adelaide would hear her father play opera all the time. Adelaide would often try to copy and follow the opera singers, after awhile she would nail it perfectly. That was the only time she would never get yelled at to be quiet or stay mute. If Adelaide was singing her father's favorite songs, then she can be as vocal as she wanted. Of course, this was only four years later did she get herself recognize by a famous man that owns an Opera house. The man himself was a vampire and could easily sense Adelaid being a half one. He did keep it a secret from her until she was old enough to understand.
Adelaide was treated much better than her family and the orphanage had done. She was given a new look and put through school as well. The female went through arts of music since that is basically all she knows. However, she was deemed very intelligent because she could soak up as much information is provided. Though, there was one time during her days in college the female did get mad and had killed two students. They were human, and her adopter, Lestat De Lioncourt was the one to have covered it up. Because she didn't only use a knife, she also had sucked the blood from them.
The female couldn't remember that but only the killing part. Lestat did yell at her for trouble she could potentially cause. So, he decided to help her focus on doing other things. He had hired another teacher for her to get her hobbies going. This teacher was also a witch and that is how she got into witchcraft. The female could perform different spells from this. Over time, Adelaide continued to focus herself on hobbies and was introduced into the opera house. Many people would come to see her perform. Thus, her fame had begun especially when her beauty was involved.
Adelaide was asked to be brought into commercials for beauty products and such. She was the beauty that all wanted to be or have. Of course, her original family did reach out to her, but Lestat cut all contact with them. He made sure they had no contact with her because he knew they were hunting for money. Since her "father" business went down hill after they found some illegal things going on inside. Though, she didn't know about this as she was continuing her life like normal.
