Harley is Hanna's older sister and her protector. She became a detective, her dream job. Do to her dad leaving his mom, Harley picked up the slack and helped her mom with her sister. She's very protective of her mom and her baby sister. The only time she was in love was in high school with the one and only Melissa Hastings. Do to them going to different colleges, they separated but by chance they're in town at the same time. Harley is still in love with Melissa but feels like their ship has sailed because now Melissa is engaged. Although upon seeing Harley again, all those feelings came rushing back to Melissa who realizes she's still utterly in love with her first love.
