I've heard there's someone new
That you're into,
Another person you want to pursue.
I don't know if I feel worse for myself
Or for them and anybody else
Who is sought by you.
I would warn this stranger
Of the danger
Of letting you into their heart,
But I don't know who they are.
And you'd never tell me who,
And I'd never want you to.
