I held Lena tightly in my arms as she cried herself to sleep. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, l pulled it out
It was a text from Abigail saying that they pulling up to the hospital. I kissed my loves forehead and slipped out of the bed, whispering in her ear
I'll be back shortly. I untangled myself from Lena's tight grip, l went to use the bathroom first before going down to the lobby. Out of nowhere l begin to cry, tears began streaming down my face. After we hearing the news
That my wife has stage 2 Hodgkin's lymphoma, broke my heart to pieces
It took everything l had in me not to break down right then and there
I knew l needed to be strong for her sake. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this situation, l feel as if this a dream and l'll wake tomorrow. Everything would be back to normal
I was hoping once Dr. Sinclair broke the news to us, l hoping she got Lena's results mixed up with someone else's
I tried to stop the tears from falling
I wish my father was here so he could tell me. What to do, l turned on the water to splash some water in my face, l looked at myself in the mirror
As l see my reflection staring back at me. I wasn't never the type of person to ask God for anything, my parents were both Catholic. As l begin to pray

They wanna start chemotherapy
No later than tomorrow afternoon
Stef says to Lena's parents, no your lying she can't be sick. She's always a healthy young woman, Abigail blurts out. I'm sorry but it's true, l had a hard time processing the news myself
Stef States. what are her chances of surviving this Cancer Nathaniel questions, 99. 9 percent Stef explains

Taking it all in, what she's just been told. is she gonna lose her hair
Something in Stef snaps
Are you freaking kidding me right now. Your daughter is upstairs fighting for her life, and your worried about her God damn hair falling out
What is the matter with you. Lena needs your love and support and your focus on her appearance rather than her healthy, if you wanna go up and see her. She's in room 432 Stef spoke
