The woman laid still ,barely breathing, clutching her swollen stomach. Her baby lay still, only born a few minutes before. The gaping hole In her stomach was to blame, it hurt like hell. Krishna entered the room falling to his knees beside the dead child. He raised his hands and bright white light flooded out almost blinding the mother of the child. The light gently weaved its way into the child's skin. The mother held onto her life just a few minutes longer waiting the hear her baby cry to show it was alive. Her heart rose with relief when she heard it. The sound of a baby.
Her baby, it would grow up without true parents. She choked on a sob that rose in her throat.
"Thank you Krishna, so so much, thank you." she whispered as the man cradled her very own child in his arms.
"It's a girl Rose," he whispered before the light in her eyes disappeared and they closed forever.....
