5 Years Later

"Eunjin, are you sure?"
Eunjin was looking between her Unnie and Oppa, Jennie shocked looks causing her to chuckle softly
"Of course I'm sure" Eunjin nodded
"Come on Jen" Taehyung smiled "It'll be so much fun! And nice too. We never get any time to ourselves. You are busy with Myeong all the day and I am busy with my office works. Recently, we constantly fought with each other for trivial things. And we both are tired of that. That's why we need fresh air and some time alone"
Jennie twisted her mouth and looked down at her child, who were standing proudly by Eunjin's legs
"Are you okay with it?" Her tone was anxious and concerned, and Taehyung was not entirely sure why "I know we don't usually leave you alone. I mean.... alone without us. You don't mind if Daddy and I go out for the while?"
"No" Myeong replied simultaneously as he shook his head
"Really?" Jennie surprised
"I want you and Daddy to go out. It makes you happy" Myeong smiled
"See Jen?" Taehyung smirked "Even the kid want us to go"
"Besides, you can't really say no" Eunjin interrupted. Taehyung and Jennie glanced at him. Chuckling, Eunjin continued "I made you two reservations at a wonderful, five star restaurant. It's one of the best in Busan"
"B-busan?" Jennie looked at her surprisingly
"Of course. The Helicopter will be arrived in 2 hours" Eunjin smiled
"See, look what she did...Now we have to go or otherwise my money will be wasted" Taehyung chuckled
Jennie exhaled, throwing a smirk towards Taehyung, "I guess we're really going out!"

Three Hours Later

"Here, come say good bye to us before we leave" Jennie signal, holding a hand out to Myeong. He gladly moved closer to them
Taehyung kneeled down and simply ruffled the boy's hair, assuring him that they'd be back after the day
Jennie, however, took a much different approach. She lifted Myeong up into her arms and hugged him tightly, kissing him all over his face. In turn, Myeong made a series of disgusted noises, eagerly wiping at his face
"Ew! Ew!" Myeong said as he furiously rubbing at his cheeks
"Jen, you know he hates being affectionate" Taehyung couldn't help but to smirk "Why do you always have to cuddle him like that?"
"Because he's my baby" Jennie cooed, giving Myeong yet another hug "He needs all of this affection"
"No" Myeong frowned, pushing himself away from Jennie "Down Mommy"
Jennie smiled and put the boy back on the ground. He was extremely independent, never enjoying being held or even hugged
The parents bid their child a final farewell before heading out
"So...you're ready for this?" Taehyung asked as Jennie turned to face him
She grinned and nodded, grabbing onto his arm "I've been waiting for this"

In Busan

The dinner had gone exceedingly well. The restaurant was absolutely stunning, decorated in shade of velvety red and gold. The food itself had been excellent as well
Without the baby around, Taehyung had decided that he and Jennie should indulge in more 'adult' beverages for the evening. In an attempt to impress Jennie, so it seemed, Taehyung had bought the most expensive bottle of wine
"We are married you know" Jennie had told him as she stared her wine glass "You don't need to try and appeal to me with your money"
"True" Taehyung smirked at her "Let's just enjoy the evening"
"Cheers"

After that it had led them here, to this lovely beach. The sand felt softer, the water seemed more calm, and the sky looked quite a bit brighter. Taehyung and Jennie were walking along the shore line, laughing at an apparently hilarious story Taehyung had just told. But maybe it wasn't really that funny. They were both a little tipsy and not quite caring
"T...Tae..." Jennie giggled, leaning into her husband's side "You're so funny! That's why I love you"
"Aw, that's cute" Taehyung murmured
He had taken his suit jacket off and held it over his left shoulder. Eventually his fingers numbered out, however, and the garment slip off
"Oh....oops" He bent down to get it, and was fairly shocked when Jennie landed hard on top of him. Judging by her giggles, however, it was quite apparent that Jennie had jumped on him "What're you doing pretty girl?" Taehyung snickered, wrapping an arm around Jennie's slender body
"Hugging you" Jennie rubbed her nose against his. Taehyung chuckled and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to the side of Jennie's lips "You missed my mouth" Jennie screamed laughingly, leaning into Taehyung's chest "You're so silly Tae"
Taehyung face was red with embarrassment. He had to make up for that stupid little mistake somehow. Grinning he knew exactly what to do
He gently pushed Jennie down so she was lying in the sand, her hair stretched out towards the ocean. The gentle sea wave was coming close to the ends of the curly strands, but not enough to drench them. Taehyung hovered over her, his eyes shining with determination
"There" Taehyung whispered "This is better" He moved his head down, this time his lips correctly connecting to Jennie's
They kissed passionately for a little while, until they had to separate to catch their breath. Each one panting as they stared into each other's eyes. A devious little smirk appeared on Taehyung's face, and Jennie immediately took notice
"Tae?" Jennie asked quietly
"Let's do it" Taehyung smiled
"Uh....Tae..." Jennie sighed as he kissed her neck "I don't think doing it here is such a good idea"
"Why?" Taehyung frowned
Jennie sat up a little, still staring into Taehyung's lustful eyes "Because....this is a beach Tae. What if someone were to...walk by? That would just be really embarrassing"
"But Jen" Taehyung whined, resting his forehead against hers
Jennie looked over his shoulder, setting her eyes on a series of nearby cabin "What about in there?" Jennie motioned towards the wood cabin "At least then we could lock it up. And be covered"
Taehyung surveyed the shelter before looking back at Jennie and nodding excitedly "That will work. As long as I'm with you. I don't care"
Jennie blushed heavily, but still smiled sheepishly "That's so sweet. T...whoa" She suddenly found herself floating in the air. Looking around confusedly, she quickly realized that Taehyung had gotten up, and was now holding her bridal style in his strong arms "What're you doing Tae?"
"Picking you up" Taehyung answered as though it were obvious
"This isn't our honeymoon" Jennie laughed softly, leaning her head against Taehyung's chest
"No, it isn't" Taehyung smiled as he moved towards the cabin "But we can always pretend. It's more fun that way"

A Month and Half Later
After their little getaway, Taehyung and Jennie's relationship had re-flourished. They were just as in love as they'd been as teenagers, and there had literally been zero arguments in the past six weeks. That's why it killed Jennie to have to let Taehyung go for an entire week to attend a meeting in Japan
"Do you have to go?" Jennie asked miserably the morning of his departure
"I don't have a choice" Taehyung frowned in response "This one is mandatory"
"But....we haven't been apart for this long in our entire marriage" Jennie sulked "What am I going to do without you?"
"Stay strong for Myeong, firstly" Taehyung held onto her face "He is going to be very upset. I haven't been away from him this long. So just make sure you put on a brave face for him"
"You're only leaving for a week" Jennie scoffed "God, I sound absolutely crazy. It's just one week, and then you'll be back"
"Exactly" Taehyug gave her a kiss "Just one week apart"

By Taehyung's third day away, Jennie had determined that this was probably the worst week of her life. The first full day Taehyung was gone, Myeong were completely miserable. He had screamed and cried all day, not wanting anything to do with Jennie. It was all 'I want Daddy' or 'I miss Daddy' and even 'Make Daddy come home'
Jennie had to keep informing him that he would be back at the end of the week but he didn't seem to care. He wanted him right then and there. All two of them got to talk to Taehyung on the video phone every night, and it was without a doubt their favorite time of the day
Myeong would spend as long as they could talk to his father about what he did all day. The conversation would always end with the Myeong practically falling asleep on the bed, and Taehyung gently cooing at him to go to sleep
Jennie's turn to talk to Taehyung came after she sent Myeong upstairs. Their talks were, of course, more intimate and sickeningly sweet. And every night, Taehyung always made the same comment when he first started talking to Jennie
"Why do you look different? Are you sure you didn't get a haircut or anything?"
"Yes Tae, I'm positive" Jennie sighed "Unless I started sleep walking and went all the way to the salon, then no. I didn't get a haircut"
"You just looks so different" Taehyung mused "Still beautiful, of course and still like my Jennie, but....different"
"Maybe it's just the camera" Jennie shrugged. She was tired. She wouldn't dare tell Taehyung, but she'd been getting sick all day
Worst of all, Myeong had caught her getting sick at one point and was now intent on taking care of her until Taehyung returned. It was sweet, in a way. Myeong would simply rub his mother's back and talk gently to her while she got ill. Jennie felt extremely bad that Myeong was doing it, but he did it all willingly. And it did make her feel better. He was just like a little Taehyung
"Your eyes look dull" Taehyung made another note. Jennie's heart practically stopped at that remark "Are you sure you're alright?"
He can't know. I'm sick. He'll either worry himself to death or come running home, and I don't want that. I can't keep him away from from doing his job ~ Jennie graoned inwardly
"I'm fine" Jennie shook her head "It's just....some allergies"
"In the winter?" Taehyung furrowed his brow
"I have really weird allergies" Jennie tried, her voice very convincing "They kind of just act up whenever they want to"
"Oh. Well. promise me you'll take medicine for it, alright?"
"Sure" Jennie smiled weakly at Taehyung "I will"
"I love you" Taehyung showed Jennie his signature grin, hoping to cheer her up
It worked, as Jennie giggled and leaned into the screen a little closer "I love you too"

The next day

Jennie was still getting sick, and Myeong was still taking care of her. After one of her sessions of throwing up, Jennie just felt....miserable. She had absolutely no idea why. She was just thinking about Taehyung and how sick she felt....and as soon as Jennie looked into Myeong's sweet little face, she just lost it
"Mommy?" Myeong asked worriedly "Why are you crying?"
"I....I'm sorry" Jennie apologized, rubbing furiously at her eyes "I didn't mean t....to cry sweetheart"
"Are you sad?" Myeong frowned
"M....maybe just a little" Jennie lied. That was only a very small part of why she was crying. She really had no idea why she was this upset
"You must miss Daddy" Myeong concluded. He sat down next to Jennie and wrapped his little arms around her stomach "I miss him too, Mommy. But he'll be home soon. That's what you said, right?"
Jennie smiled at her young son's efforts and simply nodded "Thank you for taking such good care of me Myeong" Jennie ruffled the boy's hair "It means a lot to me"
"No problem" Myeong beamed up at her "Are you done for now? Can I go to play?"
"Yes" Jennie rubbed the back of his neck "Of course, go and play" Myeong grinned and jumped up, running out of the room
Jennie, meanwhile, sighed and got up on her feet, washing her face off from the sink. As she splashed the cool water over her face, a thought crossed her mind. That she didnt got her period. Jennie snapped her head up and stared wide eyed at herself in the mirror
"Oh my god...."

When Taehyung came home three days later, Myeong could hardly contain his excitement. He'd spent all day waiting for him, staring out the front windows and bouncing in his seat
Jennie, when she wasn't off working, just stood nearby and smiled at the child. He loved Taehyung so much and Taehyung felt the same exact way about him
"DADDY"
Jennie blinked hard and sat up a little bit, looking out the window. Indeed, Taehyung was coming
Myeong continued to scream as he raced towards the front door, to pull it open. Unfortunately for him, he were too small to be able to reach the doorknob
"Here let Mommy get it" Jennie called walking over to the door. She pulled it back with ease "You are just so excited, aren't you?"
"Yes, I am" Jennie jumped when she felt a hand on her lower back
Turning around, she found Taehyung right behind her, his smile so bright and wide it would melt just about anybody's heart
"Daddy" Myeong was still jumping, this time at Taehyung's legs. He lifted him up into his arms. He gave him a million kisses, and for once, Myeong didn't even think of complaining
"Oh. I missed you so much" Taehyung said, hugging him a little more tightly "You were good to Mommy, right?"
"Yes Daddy"
"I think I need to ask Mommy, just to make sure" Taehyung glanced lovingly at his wife, who gave him a playful smirk
"Your child is wonderful, Mr. Kim Taehyung" Jennie brushed his cheek
Taehyung hummed knowingly and leaned in to give Jennie a kiss on the lips. Taehyung put down the child and watched him as he walked into the kitchen
Taehyung turned back to Jennie and wrapped his arms around her, just looking at her for a moment or two
"I missed you so much" Jennie spoke first, her eyes filling up with tears
"Don't cry" Taehyung wiped a fallen tear away "I'm here now. God, I hate it when you cry" Jennie laughed and kissed Taehyung yet again before resting her head on his shoulder "And besides, I have a surprise for you"
Jennie raised her head and gave Taehyung a confused look "A surprise...?"
Taehyung beamed and nodded "Yep. I know this week was hard for you. I could tell just over the video phone that you were exhausted, even if you were telling me otherwise. So, tonight, you and I are going to go on a romantic dinner date. Just the two of us. Eunjin and Jungkook will watch Myeong for a little while"
"O....okay" Jennie smiled weakly "If that's what you want to do"
"Of course it is" Taehyung gave Jennie yet another kiss "There's nothing more I want to do rather then spending time with my beautiful, wonderful wife"

That night, Jennie gazed worriedly across the table at Taehyung, who was busy staring down at his menu. She was so afraid...there was no way she could do this...
"What's on your mind, Jen?" She shook her head to bring herself back to attention
Taehyung was smiling boldly at her, his brown eyes sparkling so brightly Jennie thought they could be mistaken for diamonds
"Nothing" Jennie smiled "Just...looking at you"
She noticed Taehyung looking curiously at her ponytail. It wasn't unusual for her to put her hair up when she was exercising or doing other kinds of work. A bit strange for her to do it when it involved going out for dinner, however. Jennie just didn't have the heart to tell Taehyung how many times she'd gotten sick before they left the house
"So how are those allergies?" Taehyung asked. Jennie raised an eyebrow when she saw the waiter bringing over an expensive looking bottle
"Um, they're okay" Jennie nodded, not taking her eyes off of the bottle, even as it was settled on the table "Tae, what did you do now? What kind of ridiculously priced wine is this?"
"Not wine" Taehyung corrected with a big grin "Champagne"
Jennie's body grew a little rigid. She stared at the glass in front of her like it was poison. She couldn't do it. No way
"Jen?" Taehyung's voice brought her back yet again. He had his own glass in his hand "Aren't you going to try some?"
"T...Tae..." Jennie sighed. She held her hand out on the table, turning her gaze up towards Taehyung. He understood the action and put his own hand into Jennie's, gripping it tightly
"Is everything alright?" Taehyung asked worriedly
"Y....yeah" Jennie lowered her head "I hope so"
"Hope so?" Taehyung furrowed his brow "Jen, babe, what's going on?"
She looked at Taehyung, and gave his hand a little squeeze before continuing on
"Tae...I'm pregnant"
Taehyung eyes widened. Jennie's shoulders shrugged forward, and she lowered her head
"What?" Taehyung blinked
"I'm 2 weeks pregnant" Jennie repeated more strongly and more miserably. She began to cry. As she sobbed, Jennie suddenly felt something pressing against her sides, and she shifted her head curiously
Taehyung had placed his right hand to her waist as he pulled her chair closer to him, and the other one was squeezing her hand gently. Jennie looked up sniffing, and was more than shocked to see Taehyung smiling sweetly
"You're really pregnant?" He beamed
"Well, I...I went to the Dr.Taeyong and he said I am"
"I can't believe this" Taehyung chuckled, squeezing Jennie a little more tightly "We're gonna have a baby again. Myeong will be so happy when he will know that he is going to be a big brother"
"Err, yeah" Jennie blushed gently
"Why are you crying sweetheart?" Taehyung frowned suddenly, wiping the remaining tears away from Jennie's eyes "Aren't you happy?"
Jennie thought about this for a second, before responding "Yes. I'm very happy. I was just afraid...well....that you were going to be upset"
"How could I ever be upset about this?" Taehyung smirked "I'm going to be a daddy again!" He squealed happily
"Oh Tae" Jennie reached up to touch his face
Taehyung chuckled and leaned down to give her a gentle kiss on the lips. With their lips still touching, Taehyung preceded to whisper "Thank you for giving me a second baby"
"You're welcome" Jennie pulled away, rubbing at her teary eyes to clear away the rest of the water. As she did so, she suddenly felt a brush against her stomach. Taehyung was rubbing her stomach
"So....our second baby. A little girl" He smiled
Jennie giggled and looked back up at Taehyung "Yes, Our little girl"
