<Belladonna POV>
The next several days passed in a blur, Edward didn't come to school and Bella was confused and hurt, barely speaking. When Eddie did show his face again, it was nearing March and the roads were iced and slippery and the air was freezing - to humans anyway. I had to wrap up though - unfortunately. I curled my hair and did my makeup before putting my contacts in.
Due to the ice I had to drive my car to school so, after feeding everyone and making sure all my children are inside and warm enough, I got into my black Convertible Lamborghini Huracan and drove to school.
As I pulled up next to Bella's truck I got tons of jealous and curious looks. I wasn't surprised as the only other people with new cars were the Cullens and they probably thought I was a new student since until now I had only came to school on my bike. When I got out the looks became ones of shock. No-one knew I had Lambo type money. I giggled under my breath as my mortal friends walked over.
"Girl! You did not tell us you had a fricken Lambo!" Jane squealed, the others nodded dumbly.
"Well I do. And a Porche and a Rolls Royce, among others of course...." I said before the bell went and we went to AP Drama.
During Lunch, I went to see Mr Gumsdale, the Drama teacher, and Miss Harley-Miles, the Music teacher, about a school-wide production of Beauty and the Beast with the middle school. Once I had the all clear (But I had to organise everything but the two teachers will direct and such once I had it ready), I went to sit with my friends to share the good news.
After school, we were all stood by mine and Bella's cars, the Cullens stood on the other side of the car park, when a truck slid out of control of the driver due to the ice and came flying towards us. I acted before I could think. Pulling all of the girls behind me and shielding them with my body I expected to feel an impact of car on my back. When I didn't I opened my eyes - which I didn't realise I had closed - to see Edward had stopped the car with his bare hand, he looked me and Bella in the eyes before walking back to his family.
'I'll be over later' I mouthed to Rosalie who nodded just as the rest of the school flooded us and Tyler Crowley poked his head out of the car window.
"I'm so sorry girls." He stated just as ambulances pulled up to take the eight of us to the hospital.
