"Lola! How in the hell are you not up yet!" Kamaria yelled, walking into the room Lola stayed in at the main house. The plan was to separate her and AJ, but somehow the boy ended up in the house with her. Xerxes nor Riley tried to stop him. To Mar, they were useless at times.
"What time is it?"
"11... AJ didn't wake you before he left the room? Shit, get your ass up. We have to have you in the salon in 10 minutes. Hurry, go shower, may sure you wash the important parts." Mar laughed as Lola stopped looking back at her shaking her head.
"I swear it something wrong with you sometimes...."
"Trust me, I know." She smirked, cutting her off. "I can't believe my brother is about to be a married man in three hours. How do you feel? I know I was all jittery. Although I didn't know Takahiro that well, I still felt like I was marrying my best friend. How about you?" She said. Lola stared at her for a moment as she thought.
"I am marrying my best friend. AJ has always been a friend to me, and he could have pushed me away when I got the guts to pursue him, but he didn't. If I told you everything, I would be telling you my vows. So, you have to wait to hear the rest... Are you going to stand there the whole time I shower? I didn't take you as the bisexual type Kamaria." Lola said, making Mar throw a loofah laughing.
"You just thought I was looking at your flat ass! AJ needs to give you some back shots, or you need to learn what squats are."
"HEY, I HAVE AN ASS! It may not be as big as yours, but I have an ass, and I like it the way it is. Thank you very much!" Lola yelled from behind the shower door. Again, Kamaria laughed, making Lola.
"Girl, wash your ass and come on! Before Adele tries to bring her ass into this room. You know how she is. Ma does not play about her time schedule. Everything has to happen at the times as they are planned. My job was to get you to the salon. Then I have to get to Xerxes's office. We have a meeting with The Scorpions."
"The Lang Mafia?"
"Yeah, is there something wrong?" Kamaria asked as Lola stepped out of their shower shaking her head. She had heard a lot about their mafia but never met any of them. It was weird if you asked her when they all lived in the same country, just different cities.
"Nothings wrong I was just thinking how it was strange how we live in the same country but never met."
"Not weird, we normally just stay in our own lane, and they stay in theirs. I think my brother, Takahiro, and Reece are really considering ending this. If they do, the Lang's will be the perfect mafia to hand over our power to, but I don't think they will do that. We just need allies that will help us if we do plan to do so. If that sounds right." Kamaria said while Lola looked at her cluelessly. She knew nothing of what she was talking about. Still, she agreed as she put on a pair of sweats, a t-shirt, and slides walking to the door.
"You nor my brother believe in clothes. The only thing you wear is shorts and oversized hoodies or jackets. If not, that what you have on now. AJ only wears sweats and a t-shirt. I swear you two belong together." Mar said, walking out the door behind Lola. Both walked to the salon where Adele was yelling because Lola was late while Kamaria ran to the office.
"Ōjo, you are late!" Takahiro said as she walked into the office. Kamaria smiled, shrugging her shoulders as she quickly sat beside her husband. Xerxes and Reece were both staring at her while Kamaria waited for one of them to say something.
"Sorry, Lola was still asleep when I went to get her. I had to make sure she got to the salon, which she was late too. Where is Don Lang and his Donna?"
"Late...." He said one of the maids knocked on the office door. "Mr. Köhler, Mr. and. Mrs. Läng is here. Should I send them in?" She asked, smiling a little too hard at Reece or Takahiro until she saw Mar and Nicole glaring back.
"Bitch I will kill your fucking ass. Look at my fucking husband one more fucking time!" Kamaria yelled as Reece held one of Nicole's hands down. Quickly the maid ran from the room, and moments later, Jeremias and Isabella walked in along with Aiden and Ian.
"Sorry, we are late. My wife wanted to drive beside flying, and on top of that, we left a little later than expected." Jeremias said, looking over to his wife, wearing a smirk making Xerxes smirk, shaking his head.
"That's quite alright. I understand how wives can be...."
"What the fuck you trying to say, Adriel!" Riley yelled, causing Kamaria and Nicole to choke back a laugh. Isabella smiled so did Aiden.
"Have a seat. I know you know who we are. Still, let me introduce. I'm Xerxes, the redhead is Reece, and the Japanese hippy over there is Takahiro." Xerxes smirked while Hiro gave him the finger. "Also, my queen Riley, Reece's wife Nicole, and my little sister Takahiro's wife, Kamaria. I would get into the whole reason we called you here, but my little brother is getting married in an hour. We would like for you to join us, and we can talk after."
"Sounds good to us... I wouldn't touch him if I were you, Mrs. Gordon. Ian is what we call special. He has a sickness that you don't want to fuck with." Jeremias said, stopping Nicole before shaking Ian's hand.
"Oh my god! Get that camera out of my face!" Neveah yelled. "I swear you acted as if I'm the one that is getting married. Put that shit in Lola's face, not mine. DAMN!" She said, making all the women in the room laugh.
"Oh, we are going bold with the red makeup. I love this, Lola. How are you going to do your hair?" Talia asked, making her shrug her shoulders. Lola was just happy about her wedding day. Her hair was the last thing on her mind.
"I don't care. I guess I will wear it down. I mean, I always have it up. Maybe it would look good down. I don't know. Ma Dele was the one that picked my makeup, and I love it. So, she can pick my hairstyle too." She said as the woman finished handing her a mirror. Lola smiled big, seeing herself.
"Beautiful. Don't ever let anyone tell you differently." Nova whispered, making her look over at the woman smiling. Nova was normally talking shit, but they all loved it when she was settled like this. Lola nodded as another woman started on her hair. The woman pulled the ponytail wrap from her head and grabbed the flat irons. Once she was done, she wrapped some of her hair in flowers then curled the rest. After Talia and Mariah helped Lola into her dress, Lola had to stop her from crying, seeing how beautiful it fit.
"You think AJ would like this? My belly isn't too big in the dress, is it?"
"Chile, if you don't hush your mouth! AJ is going to love you in your dress, and you're not as big as you think." Paris said as Adele asked her who the fuck was, she fooling. Dele laughed, touching her belly, making Lola place a hand over hers, smiling as she handed her a box.
"AJ's Valentine's present to you. I had to kick his ass out of the room because he wanted to give it to you himself. That boy reminds me of his father the first time we married." She smiled as Lola opened the box seeing two lockets. One with an A and the other with an L, both had pictures of them inside with a message. 'Two Hearts as One.'
"AJ thinks he's a fucking romantic, but I like that... Continue to do what you are doing, please. You caring for him and showing that you were there as a friend made AJ fall in love with you. Both of you needed a friend, and that turned into this. Hold that to your heart. Love each other and this little bean. That is all I have to say."
"Yes, ma'am, I will. I promise I will."
"Damn, my little brother looking sharp. Maybe I should let Blaise in to tell you what he thinks." Elijah said, making AJ shake his head, looking back at him and the rest. All of them were ready. Just stand around to putting the finishing touches on.
"I care nothing of what you think about me—only my soon-to-be wife. I just want this day to be perfect. I don't know. I just feel like I'm going to fuck something up."
"I don't think Lolo would care long as you two get married. Stop worrying and pull all of that shit up in a bun. We don't need you getting married looking like a bitch with your hair half up and half down." Xerxes said, handing him a hair wrap.
"Answer me a question. Why the fuck do you dye your hair?" Lucas asked, making Reece and Takahiro lift a brow as they watched Lucas pull a blonde hair.
"Look at me. I'm black as hell with blonde ass hair. Unlike you, my light skin days only lasted until I was a teen. That two years we spent in Trinidad with Aunt Nova's family didn't do me any justice...."
"And the contacts?"
"Stop asking fucking questions!" He yelled as Luca walked in with Vic, their grandfather, and Rodney. All of his brothers laughed, leaving the rest who didn't know what they were speaking of confused.
"Since all of you punks are ready, get the fuck out. I want to speak to your brother alone before going the see, Lola." Luca said, making them all leave the room without a word. Soon as they did, AJ started to pull his hair up until his Opa stopped him, and Luca pushed him back into the seat.
"Leave it. This is your day. If you like your hair like that, leave it. Lola is a good woman, and I know you see that. So, don't marry her because of the shit that happened between you two and Ella. Then decide you made a mistake a year or two down the road." Victor said, making him nod.
"I'm not Unk. I wouldn't have asked her to marry me or be here now if I thought I didn't mean it. Lola means the world to me and our daughter. I don't want to lose that. I don't want to lose her... neither of them." AJ said, making them nod as his father looked down at his wrist.
"Here...." Luca said, taking off his watch handing it over to AJ.
"This was your Opa's. When I thought he had died all those years ago. I put it on and never took it off. His name is engraved on the inside. It was a gift from his mother, and I have no use for something with your name on the inside...."
"Yeah, take good care of it. That damn thing was custom-made. My Mother paid over 2.5 million for that damn watch. Lose it or break it, and I will beat your ass. Or come back from the afterlife and take you back with me. Now get to the ballroom we are going to see your wife... Tradition." He said, holding up a box.
"Do you think Victor changed his mind about walking me down the aisle?" Lola asked, looking at the time. The wedding was about to start, and Victor was still missing. Adele, Nova, and Paris just stared at her and the clock.
"Lola, you still have ten minutes before the wedding starts. Victor will be here on time. They are probably in the room torturing AJ." Nova said just as Luca walked into the room. Rodney was behind him, and Axel came in next. Lola's heart dropped, thinking Victor had changed his mind until he walked in with a smile, but before he could reach her, Nova stopped him with a hug and kissing all over his face.
"Don't tell me you two are fucking already...."
"The hell if we are! Dele, get your half-baked ass friend off me!"
"LIES!"
"NOVA, STOP CONFUSING PEOPLE!"
"Victor, how many times do I have to tell you. Nova is your evil twin." Adele laughed, ignoring the two as she kissed Lola's cheek before pushing Nova out of the room as Lola looked at her, panicking. For one, she was leaving her in the room with Luca and his father. Both were evil as fuck.
"We're not going to murder you, Kleine. Trust me. You are safe with us. I just have something to give to you. Something that us Köhler men do when our sons, daughters, or grandchildren find that special person." Axel said, opening the black box he held in his hands. Lola gasps, seeing the stunning diamond and ruby necklace set.
"You didn't have...."
"No, we didn't, but you deserve this and more. I want you to know I always loved you like you were my own. Although I didn't raise you that way, this was that reason. From the moment Natalie and I held you in our arms, I knew you were nothing like them, and I wanted the best for you. AJ is that and this little one." Victor said, touching her belly before pulling her hand up to his mouth kissing it. "Today is your day. Let's go make you groom sweat."
