breaths hitch and solid gasps,
fingers slipping from a tight clasp,
memories faded from my weak grasp,
desperate for closure,
unable to go further,
each moment claws fiercely,
impatient,
aggressive,
pounding at my eardrums mercilessly,
until finally it stopped,
the bullet pierced it's way through,
ringing halted,
moments forgotten.
