*Bryan P.O.V*
"And thats what happen." I said as I was eatting my food in the cafeteria talking with Jon about the test that I had to do with Devin a course leaving out big details because he was not fully qualified to know about this scp yet. All I told him was that I had to watch an scp and take notes than had to clean up the place.
"Wow that sounded boring but not as boring to what I had to do today." Jon said. " I rather watch an scp and take notes on it than do what I had to do today."
"What did you have to do?" I asked.
"You know the normal You know the level 4 clearance scientist that I work for right." Jon said as I nodded my head. "Well she had me run all around the floor grabbing things for her like I was some sort of slave or something." He finished
"Yeah that really does sound boring." I said back to him.
"Sigh. I know I wish I could do what you are doing but I am not that clearance yet. Oh how I wished that I help you capture that scp." Jon replied.
"Yeah but now is not the time to dreal in the past now is the time for work." I said to him
"Yeah." He said back. "Oh look at the time it looks like our break is about to end see you later Bryan." He said as he got up from the table throwing his food away and than walking out the door.
"Bye." I said back to him as I did the same.
*Time Skipped*
Once I got home I thought about how pretty much I had a boring day because I had to go in and talk with some D-class about there mental health than run around the building for the rest of the day. The only thing that was not boring was meeting Mario and the test we had to do on scp 404-I mean Devin. Its weird how he told me his name and told me not to tell anyone. I will respect his wishes because its not huring anyone if I don't tell them that he can speak english. I might ask Mario about it since he is an scp and maybe he could help me come to a decision about it because as a scientists at the foundation its my job to tell people these things but something is telling me not to tell them about this at least don't tell them yet. I walked around my home thinking about this whenI accentedly knock something over. It was an old photo of me going to the beach. I picked up the photo and but it back on the shelf that it was on when I notice something. It was a rock that a friend that I made on the beach gave me. I don't really remember him to well as the memory was pretty fuzzy. The rock was a blue one that seem to have a light glow when its to dark. I always thought it was cool how it did that so I never threw it out. After that I went to take a shower and changed from my worked clothes to more comfortable one. I wour a giant red hoodie as red was my favorite color and some sweat pants as I knew it would be cold tonight. After I got dress I ate dinner read a book than went to bed.
*The Next Day*
As I drove up to my work place all I could think about was what the tests for Devin today as yesterday Xylo said we would be trying again today. Once I entered the building I was greeted by my best friend.
"Hey Bryan." Jon said as he walk up to me. "How was your morning?"
"You know the usally I'm pretty tired. What about you?" I asked.
"The same to." Jon replied as we both wanted to the elevator to get to our assigned floors.
Jon got off before me as the floor he needed on was lower than mine. Once he got off we said our goodbyes before I headed to the floor I'm suspose to be on. After getting on the floor I headed to Xylo's office to get my tasks for the day and the time we would be testing Devin. I knocked on the door before comming in to see him in front of his desk grabbing papers and putting them away. I could a sworn however that my name was on one of the papers but I shook it off as me seeing things.
"Whats my task for the day." I asked him.
"We will be going back to scp 404's room however it will just be the two of us since Mario is needed for other scp testing and no other scientists want to get near the scp because they heard that he snapped Mario's neck but hey thats normal here." Xylo said.
"But why are the scared of Dev- I mean scp 404 if there are more dangerous scps out there?" I asked
"Its because we don't know much about this scp compare to the others at least we know some stuff about them to help keep the scientists safe from them." Xylo said as he started to walk out the door with me behind him.
"So what kind of test are we doing?" I asked.
"Oh we are going to try to see how long the scp can survive out of water since that is crutral to know just in case he broke out again." Xylo said as we head to Devin's room.
"How long was he out of the water before when he tried to escape the first time." I asked.
"Only 30 minutes." Xylo said back as we came upon the door opening it and stepping inside. "Ok Bryan since its just the two of us and policy is that higher clearance scientists can't be in major danger when trying to test an scp you will be doing most of the more up close and personal tasks when it comes to handling this scp. Dont worry becuase I am going to give you a tazer. We a course don't know how affective it will be against this scp but hey its better than nothing." He said.
"Alright whatever you say Xylo." I said back to him a bit scared that my safety will not be 99% garatine this time. "Why do you want me to do first?" I asked.
"You try to get the scp out of his tank and I will close his tank from these computers right. After your done getting the scp out from hos tank just tap on the trapped door since the scp already broke the ear piece and we didn't bother to pick up a new one when comming here. Now go" Xylo said. as he walked to the computers.
I headed to the the ladder and started to climb to the trapped. Once I opened and went through the trapped do I tried to think of a plan to get him out of his tank. Maybe I shoukd try talking to him again, I mean it worked last time.
"Hey umm Devin are you there?" I asked. "Can you come out so we can talk I promise that I won't do any harm to you also I didn't say anything about you being able to talk." I said as I heard a splash from the water.
"Really? And why should I believe you?" Devin asked as he only had a bit of his upper body out of the water.
"Well why did you show me that you can talk it was because I was trustworthy right?" I asked him.
*Devin P.O.V*
I popped out of the water with my lower body still in it and asked.
"Really? And why should I believe you?" I asked.
"Well why did you show me that you can talk it was because I was trustworthy right?" Bryan asked.
No it was because you are my friend but for some reason you can't remember me I thought. "Sure it was. Now what is the test that you have to do with me?" I asked a bit annoyed because I know thats the only reason why he is here.
"Well come out of the water and walk over here and I will tell you." Bryan said.
I got suspicious after that because not only did Bryan stay near the trapped door but he wants met come over there. I really don't mind going over there for him but I got a bad feeling that the second I step out of this tank something is going to happen but I decided to trust Bryan on this as I can't start a relationship with him without some kind of level of trust being thrown out there. I stepped out of my tank and started to walk over to him.
*Bryan P.O.V*
Devin got out of the water a started to walk towards me. I tapped on the trapped door signalling that Devin was out of the tank. Once I did that a giant noice straddled the both of us. As we turned to look to see a glass barrier is forming to close the tank.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Devin yelled as he ran to the body of water but it was to late as the tank was already closes. Devin crouch down to the close tank before turning to me and getting up. "What did you do?" He asked again.
"I didn't anything but did what I was asked which was to get you out of the tank." I said to him bit as I said that to him he ran to be and tackled me to the floor causing me to scream. "Aaaaahhh"
*Xylo P.O.V*
After I heard the tap on the trapped door I closed the tank before hearing something. "Aaaaahhh" I heard a scream and it sounded like Bryan. I got from the chair I was sitting in and ran over to the to climb it. Once I got up to the platform I saw the scp on top of Bryan looking like he wanted to strangle him
"What are you trying to do Bryan?" The scp asked.
"What?" I asked which caused the attention of both the scp and Bryan to look at me.
