HMS Belfast x Commander/Reader.
The best maid out there and you can't change my mind.
I once wrote a chapter about Belfast with a Yandere/Possessive behavior towards the Commander that was supposed to be uploaded to my first Azur Lane story as an extra special chapter, however, I never uploaded it.
I'm still trying to find where I save the writing, but if I find it, should I upload it here?

Belfast, a light cruiser from the Royal Navy, is highly recognized for her service during war. She's the Head Maid of the Maid Corps, a small group of ships fully dedicated to different tasks around the base.
As expected, Belfast is someone with a large amount of experience and has impressive skill when it comes to executing her duties as a Maid, not only does she serve the Commander, but also Queen Elizabeth, the leader of the Royal Navy.
Despite all of her usual tasks, Belfast always seems calm and does her duties with a grace and gentle attitude full of compromise, her reward is the satisfaction of those who she serves.
Since the first day, Belfast has fully dedicated herself to the Commander who she addresses as "Master" due to his position. She's always there to help him with whatever circumstances might occur.

The Commander has been working hard lately, especially with the absurd amount of paperwork that he has been receiving from the headquarters, as a result, he's been working until late hours at night.
The entire base was dark and silent as everyone was already peacefully sleeping except for someone in particular who was still working despite the hour.
Only one light could be seen in the surroundings coming from the Commander's office.

Thursday, 3 A.M.
"This paperwork seems to be infinite, it never ends..." (Y/N)
Y/N slightly moves around his seat, his body is probably all stiff from being sat for continuous hours without taking many breaks.
The Commander quickly checks the hour on the nearest clock of his office and despite being quite late already, he has already prepared himself to finish all the remaining work tonight.
"Guess it would be another day without much sleep huh..." (Y/N)
He confirmed to himself, as he returned to his working position while holding his pen to start reviewing the rest of the pile of paperwork.
Everything went well at least for the first five minutes before a sudden knock was heard on the door.
*Knock* *Knock*
'Huh? Who could be at this hour?' (Y/N's Thoughts)
"Come in!" (Y/N)
After the Commander's words, the door is slowly opened and reveals after a few seconds a particular Maid.
"Excuse me, Master..." (Belfast)
"Belfast? What are you still doing awake at this hour, is something wrong?" (Y/N)
"I should be the one asking that, I thought we had already agreed for you to not work until so late" (Belfast)
"Uhh... Well, you see, there's a lot of work to be done so I thought this could be a good occasion to break that agreement a little bit, heh..." (Y/N)
Belfast doesn't seem to have taken the Commander's words very well, as her usual gentle expression changes into one of annoyance and disappointment.
"Is that so? Is your work more important than your sleep schedule and health, Master?" (Belfast)
"I mean..." (Y/N)
Y/N remains in silence for a brief moment, thinking the correct words to not screw this whole situation.
"Yeah?" (Y/N)
Y/N shrugged his shoulders as the answer was quite obvious considering his duty as the Commander.
The Maid didn't answer back and let out an exhausted sigh at such a response she got.
The Commander thought he won the little argument against his personal maid, but out of nowhere, she got closer enough to where he was sitting and suddenly grabbed Y/N by the necktie to forcefully make him stand up from the desk seat.
"Belfast!?" (Y/N)
"If you won't cooperate the good way, then we shall do it the hard way for your own sake, Master" (Belfast)
"What do you mean?" (Y/N)
"I'll guide you to your bedroom so you can properly sleep as it should be" (Belfast)
"But I was almost finis-" (Y/N)
"I won't hear excuses, Master, this is for your own health, and as your maid, I'm in charge of making sure it's accomplished" (Belfast)
With that being said, Belfast literally dragged the Commander out of his office by his necktie the whole time until they arrived in his bedroom for him to sleep properly as it should be.

Monday 9 A.M
The entire room is dark and not even the slightest tray of sunlight can enter through the closed curtains and windows.
The Commander overslept once again for working until too late, he would usually be already awake at this hour, but his bed felt much more cozy and warm than the cold weather outside.
As such, he didn't even bother to wake up on time, however... To his bad luck, Belfast is usually the one in charge of waking him up whenever something like this happens.
The sudden silence of the room is cut off by the sound of a gentle knock on the door that clearly wasn't going to be answered since Y/N was still deep sleeping.
After not getting a response, the door was finally opened by Belfast who entered right into the dark bedroom with light and silent steps, she didn't have much trouble moving around to open the closed windows and curtains to illuminate a big part of the place with some bright sunlight.
The Maid expected that this would be able to make the Commander wake up, but to her surprise, he was still asleep as if nothing happened.
She carefully approached next to the bed, observing now the sleepy Y/N peacefully sleeping like a baby, despite Belfast's strict instructions for the Commander to not work so late, he still found a way or another to finish his daily work by sacrificing part of his sleep schedule.
Even so, the Maid couldn't be mad at him at all, no, she'd been serving for so long time to her master that it was difficult to not say impossible for Belfast to get angry despite Y/N's unhealthy routine.
As such, she couldn't help but stare for a couple of seconds at the sleepy face of the Commander, Belfast loved it in some way to see her dear Master that way.
Despite those little likes from her, she ended up interrupting his sleeping by carefully touching part of his arm as her gentle voice spoke for him.
"Master... It is time to start your day..." (Belfast)
"I don't want to..." (Y/N)
Surprisingly enough, the Commander spoke with a sleepy and vague tone of voice after hearing the Maid's words not even opening his eyes to meet her gaze.
"It's past your usual schedule, Master, I would recommend that you quickly change for your morning duties" (Belfast)
Unfortunately for Y/N, he didn't have much of a choice in that scenario, after all, someone needed to do the most important and daily duties to keep everything working.
"Fine..." (Y/N)
The Commander slowly stood up from the bed, his hair was totally messed up and that sleepy expression from before was still present across his face.
"*Yawn* Let me... Prepare for the day..." (Y/N)
"Mmh, please go ahead" (Belfast)
Y/N carefully moves across the room towards the bathroom in order to take a shower to begin the day refreshed, hopefully, that would wake him up completely.

|Commander's Office|
The Commander is already changed up into his normal uniform and behind his desk while reading some reports from the past days as he drinks a warm cup of tea.
His hair is still wet from the recent shower he took and as such, Belfast is right behind him slowly brushing his hair.
As weird as it could be seen if someone entered, Y/N didn't oppose to this little gesture from the Maid as she always lectures him about how important his aspect is.
"The day ahead of us is quite a busy one, Master, I hope that you were able to properly rest yesterday" (Belfast)
"Yes... Sort of, but my bed was much warmer than this chair..." (Y/N)
"Hehe... If you finish everything in time, you can always take a nap" (Belfast)
"As you say, if I'm able to finish all of this, to begin with, there's a lot more paperwork than yesterday... *Sigh*" (Y/N)
"Worry not as I shall remain by your side to assist you in anything you might require to make it much easier your working routine" (Belfast)

Whenever certain obsessive ships try to approach the Commander while he's working, Belfast is right there to stop them in their tracks, unlike others, she's not afraid of dealing with them to avoid Y/N from being distracted.
"The Commander's office... Hehe... I bet he must be alone and waiting for me...~" (Taihou)
The japanese aircraft carrier forcefully tries to open the door from the workplace of Y/N, but to her surprise, it won't open at all despite her using the abnormal strength she possesses.
"Why's not opening!?" (Taihou)
"I'm afraid the Master is more busy than usual to attend you, lady Taihou" (Belfast)
Right from behind Taihou is Belfast, peacefully explaining the situation to the obsessive aircraft carrier that gave her a death stare as soon as she heard her voice.
"Do you dare to interfere in my lovely relationship with the Commander? Where is he? Mmh? Tell me!" (Taihou)
"It would be certainly better for me to not reveal my Master's current location as he doesn't need any distraction, I hope you can understand" (Belfast)
That menacing aura from Taihou seems to be noticeable enough after being insulted in such an indirect way by Belfast who's remaining calm the entire time.
"How dare you... You Royal Navy sc-" (Taihou)
Before she could finish her sentence a sudden voice was heard not far away.
"Taihou, I thought I ordered you to clean the barracks from the Sakura Empire not to breakthrough to the Commander's office" (???)
Right from behind Belfast, an old battleship appears, her voice is strict as usual as she lectures Taihou for not obeying her orders.
"Elder Mikasa!?" (Taihou)
After that, Taihou was forced to leave with Mikasa.

Taihou isn't the only one obsessed with the Commander, certain kitsune from the Sakura Empire is always seeking his attention whenever she has the chance, but Belfast is always a step ahead to prevent that.
Now Y/N was in the dockyards doing some maintenance check on some ships from the Sakura Empire, fortunately enough, Belfast was right there to assist him and as such, when she saw Akagi approaching by, she moved right in front of her to avoid she could reach the Commander.
"Tch... Who are you supposed to be? Out of my way, I want to see the Commander" (Akagi)
"Just a maid passing by, the Master is currently busy doing some important tasks, you might want to come later, Miss Akagi" (Belfast)
"No, that's clearly not happening as I wish to see him now" (Akagi)
Akagi tried to move in another direction, but before she could, the british light cruiser was able to move right in front of her again with an abnormal speed.
"I'm afraid you can't do such a thing, as I'm in charge that he fulfills his duties without any... Distractions, with all respect, come back later, Miss Akagi" (Belfast)
Those words from the Maid seem to have struck a nerve or two with Akagi as those bright crimson eyes from her are shining quite menacingly towards those words she received.
"How dare you..." (Akagi)
Belfast doesn't flinch a bit despite Akagi's scary aura after not being allowed to talk to her dearest Commander.
When Akagi was able to watch over Belfast's shoulders, the Commander was already gone as he probably headed to the next docks from another nation to continue his maintenance tasks.
"I'll make sure to let the Master know you wanted to see him, Miss Akagi" (Belfast)
With those last playful words and showing a nice little smile, the Maid bowed in front of the kitsune before moving away to follow her Master and leaving Akagi not only mad but also with some pretty frightening intentions.
After just a couple of minutes of walking, Belfast was right beside the Commander as he kept doing his own stuff.
"Oh, Belfast? I thought I lost you for a moment, did something happen?" (Y/N)
The Commander slightly turned to his side as he spoke a bit surprised by the sudden apparition from the Maid next to him.
"Do not worry, Master, I was just taking care of a few things that needed immediate action" (Belfast)
"If you say so..." (Y/N)

After being done with the maintenance tasks, the Commander now along with Belfast are walking through the hallways of the base heading for his office.
"Now that I think about it, I haven't seen Akagi or Taihou today... They are usually around me whenever they get the chance..." (Y/N)
"I'm sure they must be busy, Master" (Belfast)
There was a hint of a smile across Belfast's lips that she disguised by speaking with her usual stoic voice.
"Yeah, maybe..." (Y/N)

"I'm exhausted, I feel like my soul has already left my body a few hours ago..." (Y/N)
The Commander immediately takes the chance to slowly lay his head down on the Maid's lap, letting out a peaceful sigh after doing it.
He's been working during most of the day while barely able to take a decent break from reading those long reports, now he had the chance to at least be pampered by his personal Maid.
"You did a great job today as well, Master" (Belfast)
Belfast on the other hand, had a calm expression across her face with a little warm smile seeing the most vulnerable version of the Commander. She always allowed him to rest his head around her lap as much as he wanted to, she understood how tiresome must be the duty of the one who controls the entire port and fleets and this was a mere, yet wholesome reward to help him to relieve some stress.
"You think so? It feels like the paperwork never ends..." (Y/N)
"As expected, your duty implies a big amount of work" (Belfast)
"I noticed that, thank you..." (Y/N)
"Even so..." (Belfast)
Before continuing her speaking, Belfast slowly raises her left hand to carefully caress the Commander's hair, as a way of comforting his troubles, just like a mother would do to her children.
"I would like to remind you that it is thanks to your efforts and daily dedication that the entire base and fleets run in a proper manner every day" (Belfast)
Y/N doesn't really mind his hair being caressed by Belfast as it's something he's not only used to, but also that helps him to relax.
"Not only me, but I'm sure that everyone appreciates what you do as well, you shall keep that in mind, Master" (Belfast)
"I'm glad I can count on you to cheer me up, Bel" (Y/N)
"Of course Master, I will always be by your side, it's a Maid's duty after all to dedicate fully to the one they serve" (Belfast)
"Do you mind if I...?" (Y/N)
"Hehe... Go ahead, it's always a pleasure" (Belfast)
With that being said, the Commander got slightly more comfortable in his current position before closing his eyes, a clear sign that he was actually planning to sleep right there.
"How is it?" (Belfast)
"Wonderful..." (Y/N)
"I'm glad, enjoy it to your heart's content, Master...~" (Belfast)
The softness was there so it was almost like a nice pillow and Belfast allowed it without any hesitation as she loves seeing her Master falling asleep in her lap.
Within the next few minutes, the Commander was completely asleep peacefully between the woman's thighs, a totally worthy reward for his busy job.
"Sleep at ease, Master, as I will be right here if you need me..." (Belfast)
