Dear diary,
I want to go on a candle night dinner

The scene at the Rojanapat house was not pleasing at all. Arthit stood in the washroom patting kongpob's back as he vomited everything he had for breakfast
"Its okay, its okay, I'm here with you" arthit mumbled as he helped kongpob clean up once he was done
Kongpob sat on the bed exhausted by all the vomiting, his chest was hurting and so was his throat, his cheeks had the marks of dried tears and his eyes were still moist
"It hurts p" kongpob said in a hoarse voice
"Oh my baby, I know, I'm sorry you have to go through all of this, but I promise you will be better soon, come here" arthit said pulling kongpob on his lap
Kongpob put his legs around arthit's waist and snuggled in the crook of his neck as arthit held his waist with both his hands, placing his chin on kongpob's shoulder, kissing it every now and then
"Do you want to eat something? Feeling hungry?" Arthit asked softly
Kongpob shook his head, too tired to let out a voice
Arthit sighed, he knew kongpob would deny, he does it every time. Arthit nonetheless let Kongpob lay on him, as he tried to get his strength back
"When do we have the next doctor appointment?" Arthit asked
"Tomorrow" kongpob replied in a dull voice
"Don't be scared, I'm sure you will improve" arthit said ruffling his hair
Kongpob nodded, snuggling more into his husband's warmth, wanting to take all of it in, to maybe feel warm himself
A while later, arthit realized kongpob had fallen asleep, the latter was indeed very tired, he had dark circles under his eyes, his colour was even darker and he nearly always felt exhausted
Slowly laying him in a more comfortable position, arthit tucked him in properly before going out, to the kitchen
Looking around, he debated on what to prepare that would taste good enough for kongpob to eat without any tantrums
Opening the fridge and all the cabinets one by one, arthit collected all the ingredients he would need as he started cooking their lunch
Around half an hour later, the lunch was already ready, as arthit started placing the plates on the dinning table
"Kong!" Arthit yelled from the kitchen hoping for him to wake up just by the call
A few minutes later, arthit heard footsteps indicating that Kongpob woke up, smiling to himself arthit looked at Kongpob who was walking to him with a pout adoring his lips
"What's wrong love?" Arthit asked
"I don't want to eat anything oon" Kongpob replied taking a seat
"But bun, you need to, you shouldn't be empty stomach right?" Arthit asked patting his head
"But I don't feel like eating, what if I vomit again? I don't want my throat and chest to hurt again" kongpob replied
"That is why I have just prepared a vegetable soup, it won't be too heavy but will also fill your empty stomach" arthit informed tickling his stomach making the other chuckle lightly
After a lot of whining, arthit finally agreed on feeding him just half the bowl of the soup
As soon as kongpob noticed that half the bowl was over, he quickly got up pushing the bowl away and scrunching his nose at the heavy feeling he had in his stomach
"What sin would it be if you complete the other half too?" Arthit asked
"A huge one, also you promised, just the half right?" Kongpob asked back
Arthit sighed nodding, Kongpob grinned in response before going back to their bedroom
Arthit took the dishes to the dishwasher, once he was done washing them and cleaning the kitchen he walked back to their room as well
"Kong, take your medicines and rest, I will be here completing my work hmm?" Arthit asked as he sat on his side of the bed with the laptop in his lap
"Okay p" Kongpob replied before taking the medicines
Swallowing them all somehow with the help of water, he lay in the covers, all snuggled up as arthit kissed his forehead smiling at him
Kongpob smiled back with closed eyes, and soon he drifted to his dreamland
Arthit shook his head before he got back to his work, typing swiftly, completing the files he had to
Time skip to evening
Arthit was in the kitchen, his chin on both his palms, which rested on the table, as he stared at kongpob who was busy watching the television
"What should I make for him to eat without any tantrums?" Arthit asked himself
Kongpob hasn't eaten a proper meal since morning, and arthit didn't want him to stay like that, he should take care of his diet when he is sick, but being stubborn, Kongpob doesn't listen
Continuously staring at the other, arthit suddenly had an idea which made him jump
"Perfect!" He mumbled before running off to their room
Changing his clothes, he took the car keys and his phone before walking down the stairs
"Kong! I'm going out for a bit, I will be back soon" arthit yelled
"Okay p, love you" Kongpob yelled back
"Love you too baby" arthit replied as he left
Around an hour later, arthit was finally back home from the grocery store, as he bought all the ingredients he would need
Quietly walking towards the store room, arthit tried shifting the extra table in the garden without kongpob noticing, and he succeeded, next were the chairs, he had a close moment but completed the task
Once he was done setting the table in the garden, he spread a cloth on the table, put candles in their stands and a box of matchstick beside them, to not forget lightning them
He then quickly returned back to the kitchen not before informing kongpob that he was back, kissing the others forehead as kongpob smiled in response
Arthit was too involved in the cooking that he didn't notice Kongpob entering the kitchen, until he felt two arms sneak around his waist and soon after kongpob placed his head on arthit's shoulder
"You need something love?" Arthit asked
"No, just let me hug you for a while" kongpob replied, his grip tightening
"As you wish" arthit chuckled letting the other do what he wanted
Arthit walked around the kitchen, cooking while kongpob walked around with him, sticking to him like a koala
"Kong, come on, let go, let's have dinner first" arthit said chuckling
Kongpob shook his head on arthit's neck before pouting
"Okay, if you let me go now, I'm going to let you sleep on me, I promise" arthit suggested
"Really?" Kongpob asked in a tiny voice
Arthit nodded giggling and kongpob immediately let go, grinning
Arthit shook his head at his cute antics, before he started shifting the food containers and plates outside, in the garden, as kongpob looked at him confused
"Are we eating outside tonight?" Kongpob asked
"Yes we are" arthit replied winking at him
Kongpob frowned before following arthit outside, as his mouth fell open at the sight
Arthit had planned a candle light dinner, the table was simple yet beautiful with the plain white cloth on it and the chairs had fairy lights connected on their legs, making a heart around the table, the table was now also filled with all the dishes arthit prepared and obviously candles in the middle
"This is so beautiful" kongpob whispered
Arthit chuckled at him, before lightly pushing him towards the chair as he made him sit and took the chair in front of his, himself
The couple spent a good time, eating and talking about all sorts of things, too engrossed in talking and laughing Kongpob didn't notice that he finished all of his food as arthit smiled wide at the realization
After they were done eating, they sat there for a while just enjoying the silence and the cool breeze blowing, before going back inside to sleep
Laying on the bed, arthit groaned, his muscles felt relaxed, when he suddenly felt weight on him and he opened his eyes in a flash to find Kongpob grinning at him while laying on him
"What ar.." Arthit was cut by Kongpob
"You promised p" kongpob replied
Arthit sighed before chuckling as kongpob snuggled closer, placing his face in the crook of arthit's neck who hugged him tight
"I love you my gumball" arthit said kissing his head
"A new one?" Kongpob giggled at the new nickname he just got
"I love you too" kongpob replied smiling
