Nari immediately opened the door when she heard the doorbell rang and came face to face with her friend that will accompany her later upon meeting someone.
"Eyy, look at you dressing prettily. " the said girl, Heart, exclaimed teasingly, noticing her friend's outfit.
Nari rolled her eyes to her friend as she let the other inside the house. Her parents aren't home yet so she's alone until Heart arrived.
"Wait here, I still need to put my make up. " Nari stated, pointing at the long couch sitting in the middle of the living room.
"Yeah sure. " Heart answered, nodding her head and just like what Nari have said, she waited in the living room for half a few minutes.
Nari just put a simple make up and sprayed her favorite perfume before they took their departure.
To say she's really nervous and not just a 'bit' which she told Heart a while ago, is an understatement as she didn't know what to expect.
What if her theory is true? What if she's right?
Yeah, maybe people will think Nari is out of her mind for thinking that they are really living in a parallel universe but can they blame her?
Blame the book she always read whenever she's bored as it's the reason why she came up with that idea.
But really, if they are living in a different universe, then Nari will do everything to find him in this universe. In the world she's living in.
And no, she won't leave him.
Once Nari and Heart arrived at their destination, Nari immediately checked the time before typing on her screen to message him as they sat on a bench.

It was silent at first.

It was Nari who broke it, her heart started beating uncontrollably fast inside her ribcage when she heard a soft hum, followed by a deep yet soothing voice in the other line
"Hey. "
Nari glanced at Heart who tapped her shoulder while mouthing some words.
"Is that him? "
Nari nodded to her friend while biting her lips.
"Where's he? " Heart added and Nari just replied her with a shrugged then distanced herself from her friend causing Heart to laugh and shook her head.
"Are you sure you're already here? " Nari asked once she's sure Heart won't hear her.
"Yeah, I'm already here. What about you? Are you sure you're here because I'm the only person standing here at the entrance. "
She hummed. "Yeah, we're here. "
Silence engulfed them after that. Though, it was soon broken when he, in the other line, spoke.
"Maybe your theory is right, we're in a parallel universe. "
