"Shit"my hand reaches up to touch the spot on my head that felt like a hammer was hitting off. The feeling of a bump caused me to groan as I gripped onto the sink as an aid to help me stand.
My back cold from the water dripping onto my shirt causes a shiver to go down my spine as i rushed out of the bathroom. I have to tell the others. I make my way to the top of the main staircase.
Im too late. My eyes cast over the scene that's happening downstairs. Billy's stood at the door with sidney beside him. Randy stood in front of them. A limp evident in his walk. "We all go a little mad sometimes"
My feet carry me down the stairs as I shout sidney and Randy's name. Both heads turn to me "it him, he's the killer" a tut echoed through the house as billy raised the gun shaking his head
"Spoilsport" Randy's head snapped back to him. Now coming face to face with the end of a gun
"Oh shit" The sound of a shot rings out Through the house as randy flies back. sidney ran to him as I made my way to the bottom step going to randy.
But much like earlier two arms wrap around me as my back hit Billy's chest. The feeling of metal traces my face as sidney looks back to us.
"Anthony Perkins. Psycho" tears fall down my cheeks as I look at randy, who lays there lifelessly. Sidney stands, looking at the two of us. Billys hand raised as he licks some 'blood' from it. "Mmm. corn syrup. Same stuff they used for pigs blood in Carrie" my stomach turns as I try to break from his grip only To get pulled back tighter. "Who's too dumb to realise it's someone close to them now?" He said, repeating what I had said last night.
Shaking her head, Sidney turns to run towards the kitchen but falls short when she runs into a chest. My Eyes fill with hope as she looks up to Stu
"Stu!" I shout as He looks to me, his face contorted in distraught before he looks down to sidney.
"Stu. Help us please" any look of sorrow or distraught leaves his face as he raises his hand to his mouth. A small white box in it. Wait. Is that
"Surprise sidney" no.
My face is drops as I look at him and my struggles in Billy's arms cease. Billys mouth comes level with my ear "you should've stayed in the bathroom" he whispers.
Sidney pushed by Stu causing billy to push off the door, throwing me forward in the process as a new set of hands catch onto me, Pulling me close to their chest.
I look up to the boy I thought I knew as he looked down at me, sorrow now filling his eyes "I'm sorry. But its all part of the game" I try to rip myself from his grip but the arms I once felt safe in wraped around me like a straight jacket, Lifting me into the kitchen.
Billy stood blocking Sidney's exit as Stu and I stood on the other end. Stu threw the voice box to billy who easily caught it. I close my eyes as I lean My head back against Stu.
What the fuck is happening. My best friend and my boyfriend are going to kill us. Stu is going to kill me. Oh my god. Casey. he killed her too? And Tatum That's why he didn't want me going in the garage. I began trying to connect the dots in my head as billy looked at sidney
"What the matter, Sidney? You look like you've seen a ghost" she ran in towards the sink as billy and Stu closed in on her. Stu's arms Still fairly tightly wrapped around my front
"Why are you doing this" Stu speaks up behind me speaking the same words he told me a few moments ago
"It's all apart of the game, sidney"
"It's called 'guess how I'm gonna die'" billy shouts raising the gun to sidney. Stu's arms leave me as he pushes me towards the counter beside Sidney
"Fuck you!" Billy takes the box from his mouth as he drops the gun from pointing at her
"No, no, no, no,no. We already played that game, remember?" Billy hands the gun to Stu. Taking it from him Stu holds out a knife to billy who Turns back to us, coming close to Sidney's face "you lost" my face dropped looking to Sidney. she slept with him?
"It's a Fun game, sidney. See we ask you a question , and if you get it wrong". He raises the gun to us "boogah, you die!" I look at him and all He does in return is wink at me.
"And if you get it right, you die." My hands grip onto the counter behind me as I shake my head looking between the two boys.
"Your crazy both of you!" Stu walked up behind billy resting his head onto Billy's shoulder, his eyes piercing into mine
"Actually we prefer the term "psychotic." Sidney's hand grips onto mine
"You'll never get way with this" both of their eyebrows lift in surprise as a sickening smirk crossed their faces
"Oh, no? Tell that to cotton weary" my heart stops as I look at Stu who's smirking down at billy "you wouldn't believe how easy he was to frame"
"Watch a few movies, Take a few notes. It was fun!" realisation crossed my face as billy watched my eyes seeing the sudden change
"You figure it out yet Y/n?" he cooed towards me as His eyes pierced into mine
"It was you I saw"
"Ding-ding-ding!. We have a winner!." He looked back to stu a small laugh emitting from his mouth "I'm not gonna lie I thought I was caught when I saw you infront of the house. Luckily for me, sidney found her useless mother before you could make out my face" Sidney fell forwards as Stu and billy both caught onto her
"Where you going" Stu taunted as her hand slammed down onto the counter turning back to the two boys
"Why did you kill my mother" sidney asked after me. Billys smirk dropped as he got all up into Sidney's face
"Why? Why! Did you hear that, Stu? I think she wants a motive" Stu laughed from behind billy as his arm reached out ripping me away from sidney and the counter to stand over to the side with him as billy continued to get close to sidney.
"I dont really believe in motives Sid. I mean did Norman bates have a motive?, Y/n?" He Turned to look at me expectantly. I shook my head as billy turned back around "did they ever really decide why Hannibal lecter liked to eat people? Don't think so!"
Now far enough away, I looked up too Stu. "It's was you that night at Casey's" he craned over me any smile or smirk now gone. "And the night at Sidney's. I knew I saw you. But why" his hand reached up to hold my face
"All in good time my love" our attention turned back to billy and Sidney as Stu put in his two cents
"Yeah, we put her out of her misery. Cause let's face it's, Sidney, your mother was no Sharon stone,hmmm?" His arm raised playing with the gun in his hand the other crossed diagonally, from my shoulder to my waist
Everything went quiet as Sidney closed her eyes but billy wasn't done Taunting her yet. "Is that motive enough for you? How about this? Your slut mother was fucking my father, and she's the reason my mom moved out and abandoned me." All movement stopped as we all looked to billy. Shock across all our faces at this new revelation.
"How's that for motive?" I looked up to Stu. He stood there mouth agape looking at his best friend who turned towards the two of us "maternal abandonment causes serious deviant behaviour. It certainly fucked you up. It made you have sex with a psychopath" his eyes turned to me as he let out a small laugh leaning towards me "I forgot your still a virgin. Although 'your not that easy" he said reciting the words I had said the night Casey was killed.
"That's right. You gave it up. Now ur no longer a virgin. Ooh!" Billy pulled Sidney infront of him holding the knife up to her "I said 'virgin' whoops! Now you gotta die. Those are the rules" my eyebrows furrowed as I looked up to him. He met my gaze letting out a sigh. "See now you can't die"
My mouth opened in shock as billy looked at him "and why the fuck not?" Stu, now startled looked to billy
"Well because she followed the rules and she's a virgin, and virgins well.....they don't die in movies" I wriggled in his grip
"That's why....." he nodded to me as I shook my head at him "This isn't a movie Stu"
"Oh but it is Y/n. It will be" billy looked at us holding onto Sidney
"Just pretend it's all a scary movie, girls. How do you think it's gonna end?" Everything was still as billy looked at Stu
"Oh! Oh!" Stu shouted behind me causing me to jump. "This is the greatest part" he turned me in his arms holding onto my shoulders, walking me back towards billy, who's arm wrapped around me as he held both Sidney and I "we got a surprise for you, Sidney" he placed the gun down on the counter before walking towards the parlour door "yeah you're gonna love this one. It's a scream baby! Hold on a sec. I'll be right back" he stuck his arms out like a zombie like earlier only this time it wasn't the same fun goofy way. It was more sinister.
"You know what time it is, girls. It's after midnight. Your moms" he turned to me "your godmothers, anniversary. Congratulations. We killed her exactly one year ago today." Tears formed in my eyes as I thought of Maureen. This pricks face was the last she saw
A grunting and groaning noise could be heard from the parlour as Stu came out pulling something behind him. "Attention! Oh, what do we have behind door number three guys?"
"Neil!"
"Daddy!
Sid and I shouted simultaneously as Sidney and i tried to race forward but had no luck as billy gripped onto us. Neil had bruises all over him, the two had beat him up, as duck tape stuck to his mouth.
"Whoa, hold it. Stu?" Stu looked up from Neil "the other one?" Stu's face dropped as he reached up to scratch the back of his neck
"Eh. I don't know billy. I mean do we really need them right now?" Billy having no patience pointed his knife at Stu
"Go. NOW!" Stu face fell as he looked to me turning to walk back into the parlour. Billy's voice rang through my head "this one should be fun" footsteps caught my attention as Stu walked out of the parlour once again.
My blood ran cold and my heart dropped to my stomach. My eyes wide as I, once again, tried to race forward "Tessa!" Billy's hand reached up to my mouth as he placed a finger over my lips
"Shhh. Can't you see? She's sleeping" I twisted and turned and tried everything in my power to get out of his arms. I looked at my baby sister, sound asleep, cradled in Stu's arms, a pair of headphones over her ears. The same ones you wear when cutting the grass. I noticed his eyes glassy as he looked at her then to me
"I-I'm sorry. I never wanted to bring her into thi-"
"Shut up Stu. Put her into the living room. We can take care of her later. But for now we won't wake her"
I shook my head as Stu followed Billy's demands, placing her on an armchair in the corner of the living room. A blanket wrapped around her as Stu left a kiss on her forhead
"How cute, She won't hear her older sister, who's supposed to protect her, get killed now" I felt paralysed.
Stu made his way back into the room now returned his crazy persona, any trace of affection or love now gone as he picked up the voice box
"Guess we won't be needing this anymore" he placed the box into Neil's top pocket of his jacket
"Uh-huh!" Billy hummed from behind us
"And, oh look at this. Ring,ring. Won't need this." Stu stepped over Neil as he made his way towards me. He took hold of my arm pulling me infront of him "you got the ending figured out yet girls?"
"Come on. You think about it now, huh? Your daddy's the chief suspect. We cloned his cellular no." Reaching his arm out, Stu pulled Neil forward causing him to fall sideways "the evidence is all right there, baby!"
"Your sick" Stu rested his lips against my damp hair. Something that I use to love now feeling like a punch to the gut
"What if your father snapped? Your mothers anniversary set him off, and went on a murder spree, killing everyone"
"Except for billy and me" he leaned down to my ear "and you" he whispered before straightening back up "We were left for dead.
"Then he...kills you" his hand held the knife infront of Sidney's chest before he looked up to me "And then shoots himself in the head. Perfect ending"
Stu, a somewhat proud look on his face looked at Sidney "I thought of that" billy proud of his best friend gave him a smile before his eyes caught mine
"Can't forget about you. You see your father was having an affair with Maureen" my eyes widened as i looked to Sidney. Upon seeing this billy laughed " oh no no no. I made that one up myself" Sid and I sighed as billy swung the knife around explaining the rest to me
"So he kills your dad. Which we've already taken care of and leaves you mother for dead." I look at him with such disgust as Sidney mouths drops open "you see you look so much like your dad that it's too painful for Neil to look at you. So in rage he kills you too. Perfect"
"But billy I thought-"
"NO Stu. She dies too" but there's a waver in his voice as he said it
"And I didn't even get to sleep with you" he muttered to me causing me to roll my eyes.
As I turn to look back at billy. Soft blond sprouts of hair catch my attention "and what are you gonna do with Tess" my voice shook as I met Billy's eyes
" Well She's gonna get sent into a care system and go live with a better family. we were just gonna kill her but then we thought. Better not." I let out a sigh thankful she wasn't going to meet the same end as i would "But don't worry we'll make sure she knows that her sister did absolutely NOTHING to save her" tears spilled over my eyes billy looked at me through his eyebrows "and all because she was in love with her killer" Stu made a noise of disagreement
"I didn't come up with that plan"
"Shut up Stu! Watch this" Stu let's go of me as billy does with Sidney causing the both of us to latch onto each other.
"I'm so sorry I never meant for any of this to happen" I shook my head at her shushing her
"Stop it. It's not ur fault Sid."
"Ready?" Sid and I spun to see the two boys now stood infront of each other
"Yeah. Yeah! I'm ready baby! Hit it! Get up! Yeah, get up! Hit it!" Stu screamed causing my now puffy eyes to widen as billy shoved the knife into his abdomen.
"Billy, what the fuck!" Billy looked to me as Sidney hand gripped mine.
"Good one, man. Jesus. Oh, shit. My turn." I shook my head as billy looked back at Stu. His cream sweater now filling with a crimson colour.
"Don't forget. Stay to the side and don't go too deep" Stu's arm pulled back as the knife collided with Billy's side. A lot deeper than billy anticipated. I watched in horror as billy let out a roar
"Fuck, goddammit Stu." Holding eye contact with me Stu responded to billy
"Sorry,billy. I guess I got a little too zealous, huh?" Sidney's hand tightened in my grip
"Give me the knife" I know what's Billy's like. And the determination in his voice meant Stu was gonna loose a lot more blood than he needs to.
"No"
"give me the knife! Now!" Stu begrudgingly hands over the knife as billy looks to me and Sidney
"you see, everybody dies but us. Everybody dies but us. We get to carry on and plan the sequel, cause let's face it, baby, these days, ya gotta have a sequel!" Billy's knife met Stu's stomach again and I flinched continuously.
"You sick fucks you've seen way to many movies"
"And who's fault is that Y/n! Don't blame the movies. Movies don't creat psychos. Movies make psychos more creative!" His arm swung back as he stabbed Stu a few more times. The words billy spoke earlier coming into mind
"But I'll take care of him later"
This boy has helped kill my friends. My head told me stay the fuck where i am but my heart told me to move! I broke away from Sidney and stood infront of Stu my arms wrapping backwards around his body
"Stop it. Please billy stop" Billy's arm swung back once time and I fully expect it to collide with my stomach. Bracing myself I closed my eyes but when the cold metal didn't meet my stomach I opened them to see billy looking at me in shock. His eyes left mine as he looked behind me.
"Move Y/n" I shook my head no as Stu let out a groan behind me
"No your gonna kill him" a knowing look in my eyes had billy rolling his as Stu spoke up behind me.
"I can't take anymore. I'm feeling a little woozy here!" Throwing his hands up in the air billy let out a sigh.
"Okay, you go get the gun and I'll untie pops okay?" Stu's let out an okay as billy pulled me over to him and stood me in the corner opposite Sidney
"What the hell we're you doing there. I could have stabbed you" he said in a quiet voice
"What does that matter your going to kill me anyway. I'd rather you kill me first than have to watch anyone else die" I said in a tired voice.
It hurt to look at the boy infront of me. The boy who always came over to my house and played pranks on our parents. The boy who helped beat up boys after I went to him upset about them. The boy I could barely recognise anymore.
"Y/n, i don't want t-"
"Uh....Houston, we....we have a problem over here" having just about enough of Stu billy turned looking at Stu
"What?"
"The gun, man. The gun. I put it right there, and it's not there." He hobbled his way over to Stu holding the knife up to Sidney as he walked by her. I made my way over to Sidney throwing my arm around her as she leaned into my side. Both of us watching the two boys we loved unfold infront of our eyes
"Where the fuck is it?"
"Right here, asshole" Gale
Billy turned to Stu eyes wide. "Man, I thought she was dead"
"She looked dead, man. Still does"
"I've got an ending for you. The reporter left for dead in the news van...comes to, stumbles on you two dipshits, finds the gun, foils your plan and saves the day." I felt like a weight had been lifted as Sidney speaks up beside me.
"I like that ending." Like daggers had been shot at us Stu turned to look at her.
"I know something you don't"
Gales hand clutches onto the gun but it's no use. The safety's on. Billy grabs a hold of her hand, kicking her back out the front door.
With both the boys backs turned on us, Sidney and I took that as our cue to get the fuck out of there and with one last glance at Stu's back I made my way from the kitchen.
