Sunrise comes
On soft golden feet
Creeping upon this blessed creek
Wind strewn boughs
Bow before it
The gentle laughter
Of the creek's chatter
On winding vines
The light climbs on
Burning a trail
So bright
Never forlorn
Down and under
Up and asunder
It creeps forward
Growing bigger
It's reaches widen
Never falter
It's feet move on swiftly
Tracing a path
Drawn in gold
Leaving a trail
Misted alone
A moment comes
When this light lifts up
Blessing this World
In all its sweet glory
Its soft embrace
Leave mere caresses
On one's face
Its touch
Filled with the warmth imbued
Moves on
Capturing the World
Lighting it up
Giving a hope
To a newborn day
And a blessing to awaken today.
