Jimin's POV
~ Flashback ~
Saturday, week 17 of Jimin's pregnancy, 10:30pm.
I sat on the end of my bed, letting my legs hang off as I wore blue and white striped pajama pants while watching Taehyung in front of the closet.
He took off all his work clothes because he'd just finished a shift at Jin's restaurant before he changed into some green pajama bottoms.
I ran my hand over my bulging stomach before speaking, "How was work?"
"Hmm, it was alright. Quite a few people got drunk though and were annoyed with me not serving them when they were drunk." Taehyung said while running a hand through his messy dark hair in front of a silver outlined mirror.
I gasped while looking down at my belly as hands and feet of our baby started to kick against my belly.
A smile formed on my lips as I pressed my hand against my stomach, feeling my baby kick against my hand.
"Why are you smiling?" Taehyung hummed while turning around to face me from the mirror.
"Come here." I said while looking up at him.
Taehyung walked closer to me before sitting down on his knees in front of me.
I reached over taking Taehyung's hand in mine before placing it on my bare stomach.
"Do you feel it?" I asked.
As soon as I spoke I felt our baby kick again inside my stomach against Taehyung's hand.
A gorgeous friendly smile formed on Taehyung's lips as he ran his hand up and down my stomach.
"I can feel it." Taehyung coed.
"It's been kicking for about a week now." I mumbled.
Taehyung smiled feeling the baby kick again.
"I think it likes your voice babe, it seems to kick most times that you talk." Taehyung said with a sheepish smile while looking up at me.
"Really?" I asked with wide eyes while looking down at my stomach.
Sure enough, after I spoke the baby did kick.
"I'm so ready for the future now, I want to have our baby already." Taehyung hummed as he leaned forward, kissing my stomach gently.
"I want to have it now too." I responded, letting the baby kick again.
I giggled while feeling it kicking again.
Taehyung chuckled with a big grin.
"I think it's a boy, it kicks so much." I said now rubbing my tummy with my own hand.
"You could just be saying that because you want a baby boy though, it could be a girl still." Taehyung coed while standing up from the ground.
"No, I'm adamant that it's a boy. It kicks so much and I just have a feeling it's a boy." I mumbled while lying down backwards on the bed, still resting my hand on my tummy.
"It could be an athletic girl?" Taehyung pressed.
I giggled.
"Maybe." I mumbled.
"Baby, what happens if it is a girl, will you be upset?" Taehyung asked while lying down on the bed beside me.
"It won't be a girl though." I stated while laughing.
"Baby." Taehyung whined as I continued laughing.
"If it's a girl I will be just as excited," I responded.
"Long as I'm having a baby with you, gender doesn't really matter, so long as I get to see our child grow up while I'm with you, I'm happy." I said while looking over at Taehyung.
A smile formed on his lips as he looked back at me.
"What about you if it's a boy?" I asked while rubbing my stomach more.
"I wouldn't mind, I intend on having a boy sometime in life anyways." Taehyung responded.
I grinned.
"I'm super excited to find out the gender next week, then we can start coming up with names." I cheered.
Taehyung shared the same smile as me.
"Just checking, we aren't choosing any Kpop idol's name right?" Taehyung asked me.
I laughed.
"God no. It needs to be original." I coed softly.
~ End of Flashback~
Monday, Week 18 of Jimins pregnancy, 4:47pm.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
I knew it all along.
Taehyung and I are having a baby boy!
I kissed Taehyung for such a long time that I couldn't even breath but the way I felt was exhilarating.
The aqua blue cupcake was in my mind as I embraced Taehyung even tighter.
Our kiss broke and my plump lips quivered as a massive smile perched upon my lips.
I could see Jungkook and Hayoon hugging on the bed over Taehyung's shoulder as I rested my head.
"You aren't crying?" I whispered softly to Taehyung while running my hand up and down his back.
"Neither are you," Taehyung commented.
I laughed before Taehyung spoke up, "I am close to crying though. My eyes feel blurred." Taehyung purred softly to me.
Taehyung kissed my cheek before we broke the embrace, turning to Jungkook and Hayoon's cupcake.
The radiant shade of bright pink went through the center of the cupcake.
My smile got even bigger.
"Girl or boy?" Jungkook asked while looking over at me as he lay down on the bed cuddling his pregnant wife who cried against his shoulder from happiness.
"Boy." I said with a smile.
"Oh my god, our children better fall in love!" Hayoon squealed happily as Jungkook climbed off her.
"Would be cute if they did." Taehyung piped before pecking my forehead, draping his arm over my shoulder.
We all pulled up our masks while the doctor brought Hayoon some tissues.
A smile never left my face.
I can't believe I knew all along. I just had a gut instinct it would be a boy and I was right.
I'm so looking forward to playing around with my boy when he's born.
I can't wait to come up with cute names for him.
I'm in love with my future... It's so near but so far... It's in my reach but will I be able to grasp it before it's too late? I'm so glad that I will have a mini piece of me on this earth, someone else who's like me and who will also be by Taehyung's side... A born blessing...
AU - Man I have wet weather rn, and my internet is so bad rn... Aish is annoying that shits not loading the best. However, it's a baby boy! UwU... And Jungyoon, Hakook? Lmao idk are having a baby girl... Very cute... Jimin was dead serious on it being a boy and it is~
