Deimos leaned against the wall, smoking a cigarette. Sanford had gone off to scout around the area, try to find an AAHW building to raid. He hoped Sanford found one soon, he was starting to get bored. Deimos looked up and saw something on the sky. Strange, the sky has been black and red for as long as Deimos could remember. So what could that thing be? Deimos squinted so he could get a better look, it seemed to be moving? Yeah, it was definitely moving. Wait, was it falling? Deimos stared harder, it seemed to be getting bigger. He should definitely check that out

Why did you let yourself get hit? Idiot, you shouldn't of gone so close to those engineers, and you shouldn't of been near and AAHW base anyway. Well, your curiosity got the better of you, and now you're paying the price. You braced yourself for the surely painful impact that was to come.
Deimos ran and watched as the thing came closer to the ground. He could see it more clearly now, and the first things he saw were a pair of huge white wings on the thing's back. Wings? What on earth? Deimos picked up the pace, he had to get to this thing before the AAHW did
You hit the ground with a thud and cried out in pain. You tried to stand up but a burning pain shot through your leg. You fell back down and looked at your leg, yep. Definitely broken. You felt exhausted, you needed a rest. You lay on your back and began to close your eyes. You started to drift off at once
But before you fell asleep, you could see something running towards you.
You opened your eyes. You were lying on a bed inside a small room. You sat up an saw a man sitting next to you, playing on his phone. He turned and looked at you. "Oh hey, you're awake" he said. "Who are you?" You said. "I'm Deimos, and you are...?" "Y/N". Deimos smiled "Y/N, that's a pretty name" he stared at your wings "your wings are pretty too" he said. You blushed slightly "thanks" "mind if I....pet them?". "I don't mind, here" you held out a wing for him to touch. He reached forward and gently stroked it. His touch was soft and you could feel yourself melting into him. In minutes, you had your head on his lap and he was stroking your wings very gently
"They're so soft..." he said, burying his face into them "I could fall asleep if my pillows were as soft as this" you laughed, you really liked Deimos, he seemed nice.
And within minutes, both of you were asleep, him using your wings as pillows.
