The police station is full of activity when we walk in. I stop in the doorway and take in a deep breath. Christian grabs my hand and squeezes it for reassurance. I walk forward and towards the woman at the front desk.
"I need to report a crime," I say. She looks up from her computer with slight disinterest until she catches sight of my appearance.
"Of course dear, what would the crime be?" I take a deep breath. I can do this.
"Rape,"

I know this is barely a chapter but I feel like it needs to be like this to really showcase how big of a thing this is for her. Even after her past experience with reporting she still had the courage to come forward and tell her story. XO my lovely readers.
